- Digital clock with large LED display
- Built-in time projection
- Sensitive AM/FM analog tuner
- Alarm clock with sleep/snooze timers
- Wake to music or buzzer
- Clock backup with 9V battery (battery NOT included)
- Digital clock with large LED display and built-in time projection
- Easy-to-use dial with tactile feedback to set the clock and alarm
- Wake to AM/FM music or buzzer
The image is faint at best, and will not project above a few inches.
I expected to be able to clearly see thwe time on most of the ceiling or wall at night, but it doesn't even come close to meeting that expectation.

Not to be too critical... the clock works and projects as designed but I question why the projection and the clock are two entirely separate clocks. You set the clock by rotating the bezel (?) and then you have to set the projection clock separately. Two separate clocks?Another thing I didn't like was that the projection is not bright enough and you cannot rotate the projection. It points forward and up not left and right. I'd actually like to be able to turn it upside down so that I can see it right side up on my ceiling with the clock itself facing me as well. This is not possible.
Other than that it's not defective. Excepts maybe in the sense that it is deficient in design.

Want Coby CRA79 Digital Projection AM/FM Alarm Clock (Black) Discount?
I received the Coby CRA79 Digital AM/FM Projector Alarm Clock this past Christmas and four months later the projector portion of the clock failed. I'm told some of the pixals in the projector are burned out and since the warranty is only good for ninty days I now have a conventional alarm clock that I can't get fixed and will not do the one thing I want it to do. I recommend potential purchers stay as for from this product as humanly possible. This clock is aweful. Its confusing to set.(you have to set the display clock separately from the ceiling display for some reason, and they're not easy to set) the instructions dont help much. Once set, the clock was pretty good for about 2 weeks then the ceiling display stopped working properly and only the top half of the numbers would show. Totally useless. The display on ceiling is quite dim and can only only be seen in a dark room. Once the sun came up a little bit i couldnt read it anymore. It feels cheaply made too. Don't buy this stupid clock!Edifier USA MF240BT Beige Tick Tock Bluetooth

- Bluetooth connectivity to any Bluetooth enabled device
- Front firing speaker driver Omni-directional tweeters
- LED display screen for FM/AUX/Time display
- Auxiliary 3.5mm input jack for additional audio connectivity
- FM radio function
The instructions aren't as clear as they could be, and they fail to mention features like the fact that there are several alarms presets you can set. The controls are simple, but not intuitive to use so the lack of clear documentation means you'll likely forget how to program the alarm unless you need to change settings frequently.
Sound quality is reasonable for a clock radio, but it's not good enough that I can recommend this bluetooth model. I really don't see us using this radio for as a speaker for playing tunes. Look at the less expensive versions of the Tick Tock but only if you're enamored of the styling and don't mind a rather loud bedside alarm.
Update: The snooze issue is intolerable. My wife is the primary user and says she has to carefully press the center of the top button pad, and for just the right amount of time, in order to make snooze work. Obviously, when you're wanting to snooze you don't want to have to wake up enough to deal with a very fussy snooze button. We've gone back to an older, less stylish alarm clock radio.

this product claims to sync and stream your music when your alarm goes off but that is a lie. I called the manufacturer who's customer service reps barely spoke englis but acknowledged that the alarm only plays FM radio. They could not understand that the amazon.com website says that the alarm will stream from any bluetooth device so you can "wake up to your favorite tunes". Thankfully, they are allowing a return. I would not recommend this device unless you are looking to wake up to FM radio to an $80 which you can do for less than $10 for an alarm clock that's for sure. And it doesn't look as cool as you think it might.Read Best Reviews of Edifier USA MF240BT Beige Tick Tock Bluetooth Here
This does not work with the Nokia Lumia 822 Bluetooth and it is way too bright and no way to dim the light.Want Edifier USA MF240BT Beige Tick Tock Bluetooth Discount?
+Sounds good+Looks nice (without tons of buttons cluttering up the back)
-Controls to turn the alarms on/off etc. are on the back and I keep forgetting what they each do. Helps make the unit look nice but its also a bit of a pain every time I go to change a setting.

I recently purchased this Timex clock radio because of it's dual-alarm and MP3 hook-up capability. The alarms are way to soft and I slept through them twice (and I am not a heavy sleeper). However, the worst part was that I was unable to read the clock face unless standing above it at an odd angle. The lighted digital display of time did not contrast with the background enough to distinguish unique characters. The clock constantly looks like it reads 18:88 instead of the correct time. Changing the soft display colors did not help. After two days of having no clue what the correct time was, I returned it for a full refund.Read Best Reviews of Timex T435B MP3/CD Line-In 8-Color Clock Radio Here
Timex watches might take a licking & keep ticking, but this clock radio is very poorly designed. It's difficult to program time/date (not intuitive like other clock radios). The off buttons stopped working after 2 weeks. I'm taking it back to the store. This is one of those cases where you get what you pay for. Now I'm willing to pay more to get better quality.Want Timex T435B MP3/CD Line-In 8-Color Clock Radio Discount?
I'll admit, I bought this clock mostly for the shiny colors. The MP3/CD jack was an added attraction, along with the low price. But I've had it for less than 24 hours and I'm already sorely disappointed with it. First off, you can only set one of each type of alarm one buzzer alarm, one radio alarm. That doesn't really qualify for a dual alarm in my book, and this is the first alarm clock I've ever seen where you can only set one alarm to buzzer and one to radio. The buzzer alarm is hardly a buzzer it's more like a "meep meep" sound. And to hook your MP3 player in to listen to it, you need to keep it on continuously, or wake up and turn it off when the sleep timer shuts off. I don't have an iPod so I can't dock it in an electrical charger, so that means lots of burned-out batteries. The radio/MP3 line in are both great-sounding, bordering on pleasantly loud, but the radio reception is kind of iffy. If I could set both alarms to wake to a loud radio, I think this alarm clock would satisfy me but alas, I can't.
The redeeming qualities are that you can set an alarm to go off every day, M-F, or weekends. Of course, I work Sunday-Thursday starting at 11:45 PM, so if I set the clock about 45 minutes fast, this would work for me. The daylight savings time auto-switch is nice, too. And, of course, I'm a fan of the shiny colors. But after having this clock for approximately 12 hours, I'm going to return it to the store tomorrow.I've had this alarm clock for a year and a half, so that's pretty good because many others have said that within only a few days the alarm clock will completely reset itself as if the power went out. This is what happened to me a few days ago. I thought the power went out because the date and time were wrong, so I went to set the clock to the right date and time and as soon as I did, the clock completely reset itself on its own again. I'm glad it hasn't done this when I had to wake up for class or work, I guess I'm lucky. But don't buy this if you want a reliable clock that lasts.

I have the RT-10 which looks the same.I use it regularly because the alarm is lound few travel alarms are loud.
Its case is secure and convenient.
However the alarm/time setting buttons sre painfully small and the radio quite poor I do not use "wake to radio" because I do not trust it to stay on station. (The radio is also not selective thus difficult to use when closely spaced signals are in the air.)
I'd pay 50% more for an improved version.
...KeithThis is a great radio. If you travel every time, this is your chance to be always on time, plus in the streets, plain, train, car, you can listen your favorite Radio Station. Excuse my English, I'am form Venezuela.

I like the level of sound the unit produces.
My iPod fit snug and is operated completely with the included remote control.
Works as a charging station also!I'm happy i got this. $50$ wasn't much for all the clock has. The clock is tiny but gives off great loud music and the whole thing works off the remote, i would buy it again, it's exactly what i wanted. This is a really cool "clock radio, etc." except for one flaw. It even has a remote, which is hard to find at this price. However, there appears to be no way to adjust the volume of either the radio or an iPod when used as an alarm, and the default volume is very loud. In order to use it, I must turn the radio or iPod off (releasing the alarm), then turn it back on and lower the volume. That is a real pain. I tried to email the company at the product web site with this issue, but no one ever answered. What a shame. But for this one, albeit major flaw, this would get a five star rating from me.
