Its kinda alright. I mean you're not paying much here and you are getting some decent features. I have yet to get the thing to play a video file however. I've tried all the common ones you would expect it to play but nothing. It does play music tho. As for playlists.. no none. You can only play random songs if they are in the same folder. if you actually try and keep your files orginized you will have to just dump them. Then you will have to sift thru hundreds of songs to find any specific one. I don't even try I just let it play whatever it wants. I've pretty much lost control of what plays aside from forwarding manually till I find a song I like. Or want to hear at that time. This is fine for cheap MP3 players that you can sit down and focus on but not so much when you are driving.

I am curious if the rear view camera function even works. I've not had a chance to try it yet. But considering the quality of the menus I can't imagine the video resolution is that great.

Over all I am satisfied with my purchase. I got it for myself last Christmas so I think after a year I can give a solid review of the thing. I didn't pay much and I didn't expect much. It works for the most part. I really was basically looking for a car version of a generic MP3/4 player. The audio is ok I think. Eventually I will get around to hooking up a sub and all that. I guess I just lost motivation before I could finish installing my hardware. .. lol. So I guess the sterio works ok. It plays and receives radio stations. The SD feature is pretty sweet. I got a 8 gb SDHC card in it and its nowhere near full. I'm not one to need 200,000 songs with me at all times.

Another cool feature is there is a red LED that flashes when the faceplate is removed. So to potential a potential thief it may be a deterrent as they might think you have an alarm. At least this might keep your average thief at bay.
