Though you cannot wake to your iPod, as the other reviewer pointed out, I figured that out from the product information on this page. If you want a reasonably priced alarm clock that will play your ipod, this is a good item to consider. It has very simple buttons and is easy to use. Plus it has nice big, red clock numbers. The system comes with about 10 different docks for various iPods so you can dock the ipod on top of the clock and play it through the speakers. If your dock is not included, there is an auxillary line that can plug into an ipod.

Overall I'm pretty happy with this product. It does what I bought it to do. Other ipod-playing alarm clocks can run in the $70-170 range. So a simple alarm clock like this with decent speakers is a good deal.

Sound was serviceable: for the price, I didn't expect highend sound, but toward the higher end of the volume dial, you could tell that the speaker couldn't handle it. Probably Ok for waking up to a song and a routine cup of coffee, but not much more. One of my "musts" was that it had to charge my iphone 3gs when playing music. It could not, so I returned it.

My IPOD/AMFM SoundRise plays my IPOD with a good sound. However, due to the location of my office which is on the 3rd floor, I'm unable to get any radio stations as the player does not have an external antenna.

This should have been mentioned somewhere in the ad. I will continue to use the SoundRise until I find a better option.

I wanted an alarm clock that would also hook into my ipod, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This product seemed perfect. The first time I tried it with my ipod, the sound was barely audible. When I contacted the seller about returning it, I was going to have to pay to ship it back across the country (1/3 of the value of the clock!) so I decided to keep it. I needed another clock anyway. To my extreme disappointment, now the clock doesn't even work and its been over 90 days since I bought it so I can't return it. Next time I will spend more money for a quality product, and NOT buy from a third-party seller. Don't waste your money!

I got this for my nephew for Christmas.He seems to like it.There isn't much bass that comes out of the speakers.That is about all I know for this product.
