It does not have digital tuning, an invisible antenna, or run on rechargeable ni-cad batteries. It is an inexpensive AM/FM radio with analog tuner and runs on two AA batteries. The speaker works; so you don't need headphones. And if you do use headphones, it will only play in one ear because it is monophonic. I bought this primarily for my home emergency kit.

If you want something to run or walk with, or to listen to in the office, this is not what you want.
