This alarm clock does everything it is advertised to so, but is it complicated to set! Be prepared to read the directions CAREFULLY! And take your time to set it.

I'm not one to complain about clocks, but this clock is not very good. It is everything you would expect from a cheap clock. The buttons are very difficult to press. The speaker quality is sub-par. Most importantly, it is extremely confusing to figure out how to set the time for alarms. This is one of the few simple pieces of hardware that i've had to read the manual on how to use it.

Pros:

Cheap

Isn't too bright

Battery backup keeps track of the time, you won't have to reset it after a short power outage.

Cons:

Difficult to press buttons

Bad speaker quality

Confusing to use

Battery backup doesn't power the radio on it's own.

Battery backup requires 2 AA batteries, which is ridiculous considering a watch battery is acceptable.

Power adapter on plug which most definitely will cover another power outlet.

I bought this clock to listen to the radio while I get ready for work each morning. I wanted a simple and inexpensive clock which is what this is. The time is large enough and bright enough to see clearly. If you are looking for high quality speakers, this is not the one for you, but for my purposes, it's fine. I love that it has 10 pre-sets for radio stations. The only downside is that you have to scroll thru all the settings to get to a station. I'd rather be able to push a button for each station to quickly go back and forth.

Overall, I like this clock but if you are looking for something really nice with good speakers, keep looking. The price should tell you what to expect.

If all you want is a clock then go ahead and buy it, but if you want to go to sleep with some music (it does have a snooze feature that will turn the radio off in a set amount of time) or use the radio at all then look for something else. The speaker on top of the radio is large enough, but is very poor quality. I received this for a gift...otherwise I'd be returning it.
