Information regarding Iphones/Ipod:
So I had a friend connect his Iphone via usb. It work quite nicely! This particular product displayed the song titles and artists on the unit (using Pandora). It almost makes me want to buy an Iphone just for this unit, haha. The sound is rich and awesome. Again, this unit is definitely Iphone friendly (a bit more than the android).
Apparently with some of the radio stations, there's a "TAG" option where it allows you to tag a song that you like, save it to your ipod (I own the ipod nano 5th gen) and purchase it later. I think that's pretty awesome!
Information regarding Androids (Specifically Droid 4):
So I just recently upgraded to a Motorola Droid 4(owners, they just upgraded software to Ice Cream Sandwhich). Bluetooth pairing is quick and almost instantaneous as soon as the unit goes on. While using Pandora or Slacker radio, the unit still doesn't read song titles/artists like an ipodbut I'm still quite satisfied with the sound quality and ability to skips songs.

Radio Installation: (skip to next paragraph for feature reviews)
First of allI love youtube. I watched a video at least 15 times to see how to install a radio (Because it was my very first time installing it myself). I asked myself. "Why are they charging so much and it only takes them less than an hour to install? It must be a simple process. I'm the kind of guy who likes to make sure "things are done right." It took me about an hour to install itbut well worth the money I saved. Bestbuy was planning to charge me $100 for the receiver installation and wiring harnesses ($60 for the receiver + $20 for wiring harness+ $20 for DIN casing). I did the whole thing for about $20 (wiring harness + DIN case).

What I love
-Bluetooth
The sound on is great (stock speakers). It's not to loud. I placed the mic in the middle and hid the wires. I called my dad and he said I sounded clear. (Don't worry. I'll post an actual video demonstration really soon)
It also loaded my contacts! It was so easy picking up and hanging up a phone call. You can look up contacts on this this. The moment you disconnect your bluetooth, I don't think it saves your phonebook. It will only show if your phone is connected.
Pairing the phone and the receiver was easy. I made the pin on the receiver simple. I used the phone to find the receiver and paired it up. All done!
-HD Radio
WOW! Going from stock radio to HD radio is FANTASTIC! HD is FREE. This thing turns AM to FM radio quality, FM to CD quality, and HD channels to...well, HD. There is definitely a noticeable difference in sound quality. Bear in mind, I'm sticking only to my stock speakers (pioneer brand! so happy)

They all run awesome with bluetooth connection on my Droid 3 phone! At first it was buggy, but they just updated software for the droid 3 (May 8, 2012)...runs very nicely. You can also use an AUX in for direct connection. It won't read the song titles unfortunately. If you have an Iphone, the manual said it should read it. Sorry...can't give you the the review about the Iphone.
You can change songs with the radio. No need to mess with your phone while driving!
-Dual USB ports
AWESOME! I plugged my ipod in. It read the songs, sound is superb...and it charges the ipod! I did mistakenly buy two usb extensions because amazon recommended buying two of them with this purchase. It turns out the receiver already comes with one already. So just BUY ONE. Runs awesome though!
You can use the other usb for a flash drive to play more music.
-Color Customization
FUN! Sooo many colors to choose from! There's a "scan" option which constantly changes colors....I find it extremely distracting, but it's there for you. It's quite bright, but I don't think it's blindingly bright (depends on the color I suppose). You can definitely see it during the day or at night. You can mess with the contrast level in the options menu
-SAT Ready

Overall Receiver Operation
I think it's quite simple, yet great! I pretty much messed with this for about an hour to get comfortable with using it. Very easy!
LCD screen. Like others said, the clock is small in the bottom rightbut you can fix that by making the time and date the Background. It looks nice! Big and definitely readable, haha.
Remote Control Works well. Buttons are easy to figure out too.
Sounds Options:
Bass Boost, High Pass Filter, 5 preset band equalizer, 2 custom equalizers (for your preferences), Low Mid High Loudness feature
I've only turned up the volume to 15 with Powerful Preset Equalizer, Mid Loudness, No bass boost. Sound is awesome!
The nob is pretty nice...easy to navigate with it. Setting up the tuner for my favorite radio stations was a breeze.
Detachable faceplate. Awesome for security purposes.
Conclusion
This looks sexy and sleek with a black and silver look. The color customization makes you admire it even more.
Sound is far more superb compared to stock radio.
Sorry for the long review. I just wanted to cover as much as I can just to give you an idea of how much I love the receiver and its features.

Buy Pioneer DEH-P9400BH Mobile CD Receiver with Built-in Bluetooth and HD Radio Tuner Now
Seems as Pioneer is back to being a top dog, at least in my house. I usually stick with older units, usually used as I was stuck on 3way active and a lot of new decks don't do this and of course as usually nor does this one, lol! However, I love this new line from Pioneer and seems I am getting out of the stage of tweaking my system to the tee....maybe I am getting older, why yes I am getting older, so maybe that has something to do with it.Aesthetics look phenomenal on the 2012 line-up from Pioneer and I really considered waiting till the 80PRS dropped, but opted to get this one, which is quite a bit under that deck, but still next top dog and I can just stare at it in all its glory. It really is a sharp deck and has quite a bit of options to change the color of your deck to match the interior of your cars illumination or go crazy and do various colors! Text is nice and clean, the clock is a little small when in most formats, but so be it.
Performance-This deck has 4v pre-outs and man, they are definitely 4 volt if not more. I took out a Kenwood due to bad RCA issues and that deck was 4 volt as well and what a difference! I didn't change any settings on my amps either, but I am telling you I gained a lot, from my bass to my highs. I did change out my mids, so that can probably attest to the highs sounding better, but my bass went from muddy to crystal clear and still loud! I mean, I gained a lot of loudness. My kenwood went from 0-35 and I had to crank it to mid 20's to get it to full potential for me, but Pioneer goes 0-62 and I can't go past 40 without my head feel like it is about to cave in, lol!
Only downfall of this unit, is I am not a big fan of the 5-band EQ, while it works, it just is so hard to get around, rather on the road using the knob, or a remote, just have to be careful. My other decks, I could usually drive and look real quick to adjust something, but this one you are better stopping somewhere to adjust settings. Also the remote is so-so, but overall can't be any happier with this deck.
To note-If you have an Android phone, it streams off a Pandora app and sounds great to boot, but won't come up on your screen. You can change songs from remote or deck, but to change station, will still have to use your phone. Only the Apple iPhooey does that, but I cant stand anything Apple, so will deal with how this is setup, which is still better than what I had with cords laying all over the place.
Also HD radio comes in great and I am missing my antenna, lol! Cant wait to get that fixed to get more stations though....one day at a time. Has two USB's as well. I have two different Flash-drives plugged in and wouldn't even know. Love the stealthiness! No cords for me anymore!
Great deck, great price, had in 2 days from Amazon, thanks to Prime! Love this place!I recently purchased another vehicle and realize how much I miss having bluetooth. I have been hands free/bluetooth for about 10 years and that was a must have when looking for another head unit. A few years ago I purchased a Pioneer DEH P7100BT for my wifes' car and she loves it and the voice dial up is what put that unit over the top with her. I seached for a HU that had the voice dialing, but to my surprise its a feature that is no longer being used. I had a mid range Dual HDX7714 HU that came with a lot of bells and whistle; HD radio, Bluetooth, USB input, AUX input and SLA to even out the sound for each source. I almost settle for the DEH P6400BT, but something told me to hold off and wait. I am glad I did, the P9400BH is a very nice unit the delivers on the Pioneer name. The sound from all sources are clear and detail, The HD radio pulls station in with ease and able to go to HD1 and 2 on stations that support it. I use a 8GB thumb drive to store my music, the playback works smoothly, but can get confusing when accessing the advance menus when you just want to return to each folder (hint: go back to the startup menu and turn off the browse setting). The display feature is another reason I held off from the 6400BT to the 9400BH, my wife has the LCD screen on hers and I could not see using a dot matrix. The Multi color changing ability for the controls and screen is the icing on the cake, allowing you to match your exsiting dash lights. The bluetooth streaming works great with my Samsung Focus Win7 phone streaming LastFm and a Pandora app along with the music stored on my phone. Bluetooth paring was easy as saying your ABC, no codes needed or buttons to hold until your fingers cramp up.

I bought this for my wife's car in order to give her Bluetooth capabilities, both for her phone and in order to listen to music from her iPhone. I've been a Pioneer brand-loyaist for some time, so this is the unit I selected. I chose this particular unit because it offered voice-recognition dialing, while the next cheaper unit did not.Once I got it installed and powered up, I have to say that I as a little disappointed. In a word, the user-interface is bizarre. Expect to climb a learning curve with this unit. The controls for this unit have nothing in common with a traditional, stock head unit. In my opinion, the unit has too few buttons. Most of the buttons are context-specific and force you to navigate a menu do pretty much anything. I had to sit down with the instruction manual and truly *study* the thing before I was ready to explain it to my wife. The adjustable screen/key color option is neat, but only two of the 27 colors available won't make your eyes hurt.
Also, if you've ever wished that your stereo had the ability to play a grainy video of a guy kicking a soccer ball over and over again, this is your stereo.
The other, bigger disappointment (that I wish I had known before buying it) was that this head unit will not display any song data when playing via Bluetooth. I've seen this on stock BT audio systems (such as the current Subaru WRX), and just assumed that this unit would do that as well. Nope, it just lists the name of your phone on the screen. Also (unless there's something I've missed) you have no way to access playlists or actually navigate through your phone's music library. Bluetooth playback with this unit is shuffle-only. And if you want to pause the music, you have to OPEN A MENU and navigate to the "pause" option. So you're not going to have total control over your iPhone from this head unit. In reality, you're going to be holding your iPhone in your hand and controlling the music from there. The only thing the Bluetooth feature really does is replace the axillary cable.
I'm sure it will work fine, I'm not annoyed enough to rip it back out and return it, but I was really hoping for a unit that wouldn't be so difficult for my wife to use. There's something to be said for actually playing with something like this in a store rather than buying it sight-unseen off the web.
Pros:
1. Best combination of features for the money. Almost all others charge $150 bluetooth mic + $150 HD radio! You might find one with one or the other but rarely both AND all the input options.
2. HD Radio seamlessly blends with regular radio. In LA where I live, I pretty much listen to ONLY HD now. All of my normal stations are in HD and sound much better.
3. HD Radio shows detailed track/artist info, although i've heard it will show lyrics, i've yet to see that supported.
4. 2 USB + Bluetooth Streaming Audio + Aux + CD + Tuner + HD Radio.
5. Included Bluetooth Mic for voice calls works well enough
6. Sound quality is great
Cons: (mostly minor)
1. Bluetooth call quality is average, my car is pretty loud so i'm not entirely surprised, but its totally usable.
2. I put a 32GB thumbdrive on one of the USB ports and I'm still trying to figure out the logic of how it decides what the 'next' track is
3. Buttons aren't entirely intuitive, but like ALL car stereos they just take some time to get used to.
4. Clock is REALLY tiny in the corner, but I think I just might have to explore the different display options (so this may be a moot point).
5. No included wiring guide, but the color codes are pretty standard, I just had to learn what they were. Found images on google.
