This is actually the second one that I have owned. I got my first one when it first came out, and it lasted me nearly two years before finally become unusable.

It can get a little glitchy, just like any other phone, but if you take out the battery and put it back in, you'll be back in good shape every time. The major downside is the little flap that covers the keypad. It WILL break off. It can be removed at any point, and doesn't affect the function of the phone in any way, other than to make the music buttons easier. However, the music function is still perfectly usable without the cover on.

Hands down the best(non-smartphone) phone I have ever had.

This phone was working as expected. However in August 2012, I connected it for the first time to the computer to download some music. The phone suddenly went dead and so I contacted Sony Experia Customer Service to see if they could repair or replace it. That was in August and the beginning of my troubles.

In September, they asked me to send the phone over to them which I did and I tracked it as arrived in their Laredo Tx repair centre. A month later I contacted them to see the progress but there seemed to be noone with a clue as to what happened. One agent told me the phone had been repaired and sent to a wrong address. Another one said they were still working on the phone. Later in November 2012, an agent 'escalated' my case to a manager. I was on the phone for over an hour and a half trying to proof that I sent the phone, that I bought from Amazon etc etc. At the end of the conversation, the manager told me that they will send me a new phone within 7 days. I waited but nothing came up. On February 4th, I received an email from Customer Service asking me to send my faulty phone to them for repair. I just couldn't believe this so I waited for my anger to subside to manageable levels. Yesterday March 18th, I called the customer care and there seemed to be no progress. The agent said he will call me back in 2 hours.

As I write this, I am still waiting and I don't know where else I can turn to for redress.
