I love this clock! I've never used the dock and couldn't care less if it had it or not. The other features are that good. I love that the alarms are very easy to set and to turn on or off, you can even customize alarms to weekdays, weekends, or everyday. The snooze is easy to hit when you're just waking up and it's length is programmable. The screen has a fantastic dimming feature. If you set it to it's lowest setting, you might think you've turned the screen off, but in the middle of the night when you're eyes are fully adjusted to the dark, you can read it just fine. When you hit the snooze button, the screen lights up bright, which helps you wake up. It's kind of like the sun coming through your window. It has nature sounds loaded in to help you get to sleep. On top of all that, you can load your own pictures. I have mine rotate one picture each day. It's always kind of fun to see which picture will come up next. If I had to name one negative, it would be the lack of automatic (radio signal) time setting. I've never had a better clock and will buy this for my family as gifts.

First, mine was defective (died in less than 30 days) so I returned it and will not be ordering the same type of clock. It does not seem to be compatible with the latest ipods/iphones so beware. The snooze feature seemed to not work here and there plus when the alarm goes off the brightness setting goes to max which is the equivalent of pulling open the shades with the sun in your face and it does not reduce to it's original setting when you hit snooze either.

This is so much more than a clock radio. I still have not had time to sit down & play with it; however the main reason I purchased this item is the super big screen display. When I roll over I need to be able to see the time. LOL over 40. The only thing I am not happy about is the radio will shut off in 60 mins I need it to play for 2 hours before shutting off. Otherwise if you are thinking of this item you have great taste & will pretty much buy what you want & not skimp on cost. I say go for it I love it & think you will too!
