My daughter bought this for herself and loves it! She places the bed shaker under her pillow and it wakes her up quickly without startling her. You can program 2 timers and for each, you have a choice of the bed shaker, iPod, radio or buzzer to wake you up. My daughter likes the bed shaker because she doesn't get startled and she wakes up every time (unlike the buzzer which is annoying or iPod/radio can be easy to sleep through). Sound quality is good and buttons are easy to press and timers easy to program. Would definitely buy another and recommend!

I bought this little iLuv iMM 153 clock radio for my daughter's 11th birthday. She loves blue and she loved receiving this radio. She also has a hard time getting up for school in the morning so I thought the bed shaker might help her. It is amazingly small, and it has a really low profile, it is short. So it fit nicely on her nightstand without taking up much space.

The iLuv 153 is small 8 1/2"L x 3 1/2"D x 2 3/4"H. It is an FM clock radio/ipod/iphone charger/player. It comes with NO manual, you must download it from the iLuv website. I couldn't put the link in here without spaces as Amazon deletes any links it sees in reviews. They hate any reference to any other products or websites besides their own even if it is just for the stinkin' manual for cryin' out loud!

It advertises it will charge and play all your ipods. But the listing specs DO NOT mention an iphone charging capability, and I scrutinized all the specs and reviews to find out and really didn't get a definitive answer to it. But it DOES charge and play music from my daughter's iphone4. Yes, 4. Probably the 3 and 4S generations as well if it'll accept a 4.

Once you place your iphone in the docking station, a message appears that says "This accessory is not optimized for this iphone". Just hit "dismiss" on the iphone display in the pop up window and your iphone will play music just fine. We've not experienced any cellular interference as the message also states.

You must select your playlist or song directly on your iphone and can hit the pause button on the radio or iphone and if you hit it again later, the iphone will start where you left off in the song.

It comes with an AC adapter. The backlight is a pretty bright blue and since my daughter likes having a night light, she uses the brightest setting. The iLuv iMM 153 comes with a 10 step dimmer, but it really has 9 steps of brightness, the beginning step is "off" and completely dark. It is difficult to read the display from the side, so you have to look at it head on to really see the display clearly.

There are 10 radio station programmable presets. The bed shaker does work, shakes her pillow and wakes her up. I wouldn't say it shakes her whole bed like some other reviewers claimed theirs did. There is a battery backup (2 AAA batteries not included) for the clock and radio presets, but this won't provide power for your ipod/iphone.

A great, cute, small clock radio/ipod/iphone player for a tween or teen who has limited space on their nightstand. Again, it plays and charges your iphone as well as your ipod.

I just got my iluv today, and yes it is small. The sound quality is not the same as sound you would get from a Bose speaker (my bff has one so I know the difference). You have to turn it up to at least 7/8 to hear anything but for me thats ok, I only need it for my dorm anyway. The bed shaker is very powerful, it scared the crap out of my roommate when my bed started vibrating randomly as I was fiddling with the alarm system. The only problem on mine is that the forward button is broken and reverses everything. But its working and its cute. My favorite color is blue so everything I have is blue in my room and it matches perfectly. ^_^

Therefore, if you are looking for something reasonable for school that could wake even the hardest of sleepers go for this product. AND if you share a bed with someone else, be reasonable and use your brain. OBVIOUSLY it shakes the bed not just your pillow (which is why its a bed shaker). There is a review complaining about how it woke up the 2 people sharing a bed instead of one and I just shake my head. Buy it, you won't regret it!

My 11-year old son purchased this product and loves it! He loves having someplace to store his i-touch. He and his brothers listen to music as they fall asleep. They can all hear it very well, as opposed to just listening to the i-touch without speakers. The alarm is great, easy to set, turn on and turn off. He's still afraid to use the shaker because it may scare him.

The buttons and clock display are nice and big, easy to use for a child. This product also comes in black, white and pink if you're interested.

This has been a godsend! After buying 2 other alarm clocks, neither of which would even stir my deep-sleeping, 12 year old daughter, we gave this one a try and it's great the shaker under the pillow is enough to rouse her. She loves it because she has an iTouch and she loves the blue color! I just recently bought a black one for my 7 year old son. The only complaint that I have is with the written instructions, which aren't very clear or complete, but my tech savy kids seem to have little trouble with the settings.
