Well, I am on my second clock asking for another replacement. When it works it is wonderful but seems to break every two weeks. And the company X-Cozy made me pay for return postage! First time the spring inside the battery compartment broke so clock would not run. This time the wheel broke off so it does not work as it should. And this clock is on a 2ft table and drops onto carpet with area rug on top! I am trying for one more replacement as three times and your out!!! we'll see. Need this for my daughter as she is horrible in waking up in morning and this has helped when it works...

This is a superb clock it literally saved my job! I am extremely difficult to wake up, but this "R2-D2" does the trick. You have to remember to turn the wheel motion on when you first set it, or off after that if you don't. It can drop 3 feet at least mine does onto carpet & has for 3 years now. I purchased mine from another seller. I wanted to order a spare to loan friends & tardy coworkers, so I ordered from Kingkongmall.

It arrived in a slightly crushed shelf box (Not corrugated cardboard) packed in a padded envelope. It appeared to be used, there was a fingerprint on the time screen and a few scratches on the body of the clock, but the wheel "treads" appeared new. All appeared to work ok until I tested the wheel function & one fell off... Apparently, the crushed box cracked the wheel inside the casing. So now I get to pay to ship it back to China USPS online indicates it will cost me about $12 parcel post, without confirmation AND I have to take it to the counter since it is an international shipment...Not how I like to spend my day off work. If I'm lucky, I'll get a refund of the purchase price ($27). I had to laugh at the return instruction to "place the product in a box". A substandard shipping job of an otherwise great product.

Pay more and purchase it from a US shipper. March 1st 2013 Update still no refund . . .

It's a little tricky to set it right for the alarm to go off and the clock run around. You can not have a snooze alarm set.

If snooze has any time on it then the clock will not run when the alarm goes off. The directions are not very clear on that nor are they written in percise english. The alarm is not as loud as we would have liked but it's loud enough for the average person just not for my 20 year old who sleeps like a bear in hybernation. All in all it is good once you learn the tricks.
