Tried two iPod gen 2 and one iPod gen 3 and they did not work with this clock radio. An older iPod classic click did work, but needed it to work with the newer models. When selecting the iPod source the light just kept flashing and when play was pressed on the iPod it played through the ipod itself. The play button on the clock radio did nothing.

Unfortunately have to pay shipping back to Amazon to send it back, but at least I am able to return it and get another type perhaps an iHome.

Wish my husband wouldn't have thrown the box away so quickly. I would have sent it back. After playing it for about 2 weeks the sound fades in and out. My IPhone worked great when I first got it. Now my music (the iphone setting on the radio) keeps shutting off. Goes back to regular clock mode and that is never the right time either. I always go by reviews before I purchase a product so I was surprised how awful this radio is. Would not recommend it to anyone. I really got burned.

My husband did recycling the week after I got this so I no longer have the box to return it.

Everything else works fine. Ipod dock is very particular. I have tried Itouch and iPod nano and both have problems. Only 2 months old! I would not recommend this product.

I purchased this for my wife as a gift. The clock feature stopped working after 2 days. I went through all of the troubleshooting tips, tech support, etc but nothing helped. Prospective buyers beware: this is not something you want to sink 40 of your hard earned dollars into.

Gave this to my wife for Christmas. It was delivered from AMAZON promptly and in excellant condition. The screen is large and is good. The only thing is the alarm does not work and there is very little instructions that come with it.
