This radio works great and looks great too. The only problem I ran into with it is that it is very sensitive to being placed near a wireless networking device. Lots of static results. Just keep the unit at least 6 ft away from a device and it works and sounda great.

I bought one of these and the analog clock died during set up. Returned it for another one which works and am very satisfied with the many features and sound quality for such a small unit. The analog clock on the new unit got stuck once (so far) and changing the time ahead/back got it going again. I'll certainly keep an eye on that through the warranty exchange/repair period.

One small downside. The unit allows you to dim the display (great!) but when ever you change a function (turning off the radio for example) the display goes to FULL bright and then over about 10 seconds slowing fades to the original dim state. Not a deal breaker, but annoying in the middle of the night.

Purchased this radio to replace my failing weather radio. The best thing I like about this radio is that it has four (4) alarms, two that wake by buzzer and two that wake by radio station or MP3. It has HWS Humane Waking System that gradually increases in volume so that it does not wake you violently. Not sure why the other reviewer indicated it was too hard to program, unless he just fell off a turnip truck. Programming is not that difficult. The atomic function worked with flying colors just this past weekend when the time changed. This clock has both digital and analog displays. It has a cool orange glow when the alarm goes off and turns white when you hit the button to deactivate the alarm. I would purchase this clock again in a heart beat in fact I will probably by another unit for my daughter when she goes to college next year.

Returned the radio; it was extremely complicated to set the alarm (setting the day of the week was impossible & not mentioned in the manual); the atomic clock function did not work at all, a $10 travel alarm without an antenna picked up a strong signal in the same location;
