I received mine like new. It came in its original box and looked practically unused. It looks just as it does in the preview picture. It's very easy to set up and start using. The big numbers can be seen from the far end of the room even if your vision is a bit spotty. You can set the alarm to start the radio, or a conventional buzzer. And you can even just listen to the radio on it.

Setting the hour and hitting the snooze is pretty easy. All around, pretty much all I could ask for in an alarm clock. Five stars.
