This is a well-designed and very functional clock, with a very large, bright, readable and well-organized display. It has a sleek, modern, black picture-frame style case, and is much better-looking than the typical 'hospital' or 'factory' style calendar-clock.

The clock also has a power-outage memory, which is not mentioned in the description. I tested the clock and set the correct time, but had to wait almost a month before installing it. As soon as I plugged it in in the new location, it displayed the correct time no resetting required.

The only element of the clock display that is not immediately, intuitively obvious is the AM/PM indicator, which is just a pair of dots (single LEDs) to the left of the time. These are labeled 'AM' and 'PM' in small, unlighted letters.

I purchased this clock for my mother who is in the early stages of alzheimers. She loves it! It's not very decorative, but it serves the purpose of telling her the day, date, and time. It even comes back to the right time and day after it has been unplugged.

Amazingly quick service. We bought this clock for my mother-in-law who has trouble remembering the day of the week. It was ordered on Tuesday PM and was delivered on Thursday!

If you don't want a BIG clock don't order this one. It's really large for home use. I would like to have found a smaller one but this was the only one we found with a clear alpha day(MON) and month(OCT) display.

Also, the package came with no paperwork whatsoever, no warranty information or instructions on how to set it. Fortunately it was fairly easy to figure out.

If you want a LARGE clock with clear simple display, this is a good choice. If you want something small and stylish, pick something else.
