Naxa NX-675 Detachable Stereo AM/FM Radio MP3/CD Player With ID3 Text Functio...

Naxa NX-675 Detachable Stereo AM/FM Radio MP3/CD Player With ID3 Text Functio...Installed mine--works as designed. It's the design I have issues with

1.) From USB or memory card, this radio can play thousands of MP3s. But it doesn't shuffle!

2.) It also fails to recognize folders. Put 15 albums on a USB drive, and there's no way to get to album 7 (unless you happen to remember that album 7 starts at the 67th song and you skip to that song)

3.) There are no AM or FM presets. All of your tuning will be manual.

4.) My last radio, a JVC, had a wiring harness that could connect to my car's wiring harness. Two harnesses plug into each other, no stripping or soldering. Not so here--you'll be stripping wires and connecting them if you want to install

5.) The FM antenna plug was on the other side of the radio than other aftermarkets I've bought (i.e., the plug is on the right hand side of the Naxa when you're looking at it from the rear). No big deal, just had to buy an FM antenna extension cord, but be aware of that.

This was a bargain unit which did exactly what it advertised, but it does not have the features I've come to take for granted on car radios in general.
