My expectations were exceeded. The tower has proven to be a very quality built product with every possible option i could imagine at an impressive value. This is without a doubt an awesome ipod/iphone/ipad docking station with full capability in charging any and all of these devices.
The tower will automatically distinguish which device is attached and the exact format used.
I'm totally impressed by the dock.
The tower has great volume with an included amplifier built inside.

Excellent Product! It was easy to setup. It can play music, movies and videos from the iphone (iphone 5 with the adapter) and ipad! It was easy to set up on our HDTV too. It acts like a speaker when you are watching TV or movies.I highly recommend this product! The cost on Amazon was fantastic too! This is the second Pyle Home device I have bought, and will be my last. It sounds ok for what it does, but right out of the box there was trouble attaching the base. The machine screw heads were too small and no washers were provided. The particle board has a metal screw receptacle attached, and one of them pulled out right away. I ended up using my own machine screws with bigger heads to attache the base, and reinforced it with silicone cement adhesive. The 30 pin connector on top will play my iPad III but not the iPod touch. I was able to find an obscure use for this thing as a monitor for my old Yamaha digital piano. It sounds good enough to use for that purpose, and is out of the way behind the piano. Another freaky thing is the radio will turn on by itself (the internal alarm may be set or something), so it is wise to simply turn off the switch on the back when not in use.
