This docking station makes it easy to charge up my Motorola Cliq 2 (MB611) phone. Instead of fumbling with a cable and then plugging it in, I simply drop it into the docking station, and it charges.

The cradle has a magnet inside, which triggers the phone to go into a different mode, where it displays a clock in landscape mode, and never turns the display off. This makes it usable as an alarm clock: It even has a weather widget and some others that you can configure along the bottom of the display.

But you can turn the display off, if you like, by pressing the power button on (what is now) the lower left side of the phone.

I love this charger. You can put your phone in it and use it for a charging dock or to hold it up while you're watching a video or listening to music. You can have it always show the time like a little clock and it will work as an alarm clock too. It's great! There's a little plastic adapter on it too if you just want to use it to cradle your phone without charging. I highly recommend it!

The P3 is really a great player. For some reason, many people compare it to the iPod Touch, but that doesn't make much sense, considering it's priced to compete better with the iPod NANO.

The P3's screen is made of glass... this means, it is really hard to scratch it, unlike that odd plastic material used in most touchscreen players. The touchscreen itself will seem a bit sticky at first, but after a week or so of having it, you will barely notice this at all. The touchscreen is in most cases very responsive, though the player's UI is notorious for lagging at times. This, though, is something you can easily get used to. There are some silly little widgets, some are handy such as a clock and a calendar, but most seem to be designed for a young child. The background is customizable with images 272x480 pixels for a perfect fit. Also, when you first begin using it, you may notice the battery draining quickly, as the first of three bars will disappear quickly. The meter only stays at full when the battery is very full, i can use this for about 4 days, listening about 2-3 hours a day before i need to charge it.

The screen has some sort of special detection for touch, i believe it's called capacitive sensing, which only responds if it detects a conductor, in other words, the human body. I'm sure it also works with some random special material as well, but for the purposes of the average person, this will only respond to a human body, so you don't have to worry about anything else activating the touchscreen. You may still want to use the Hold button though, as there are volume and a power button on the top of the player.

The screen on this player can play videos at up to 800x600 pixels, which is pretty good for a player of this price. It's no Zune HD, but it sure does look good on the 3 inch screen.

The player body is made of some plastic, but mostly metal. I have heard of these things surviving all kinds of punishment, even have 45 pound weights dropped on them in the gym. The touchscreen and everything still worked in that case, the only problem were cracks and the player being slightly bent of course.

The P3 has all the typical features of a Samsung player, the DSNe, bluetooth, etc. etc. What is really surprising is its support for .flv files, and a flash player for .swf files. Yes, this means you can play flash games and watch flash movies on your P3. It can also be used to pair with a phone as a hands free device via bluetooth.

The only thing i would ever really worry about would be the fact that you can see directly inside of the player, as in you can see all the microchips and whatnot inside of it through the headphone jack. This could lead to dust getting in there, but this is easily solved by either just blowing it or or just leaving headphones in all the time.

In short, this player is really fantastic for 150$, which, again, is the same price as an Nano. You get so much more for almost the same price, it makes me wonder why anyone would ever buy a Nano.

This was the third mp3 player I purchased after returning the first two. And, it was the only one that had a decent manual. You can easily download music from multiple sources, and the touch screen is fabulous. My tech-expert nephew suggested I read reviews on sites like , etc. and that is where I found the reviews on the Samsung YP-P3. I immediateley ordered one, and have not been disappointed in any way. If any of you want a user friendly music/photo/video player this one is terrific Absolutely NO cons!

I think this is a great MP3 player for the $$$. I like the ease of use and easy file transfer. I'm a drag & drop guy so I loved that about this player. I remember one review on this player complaining about it not storing other files but I've found it to work just fine for me. Of course i have only added photo's so I can't give a full review on that function. The touch screen works pretty well, not great, and I have to say it's not as good as the apple products. That really is the only knock that I would have on this MP3 player but it's not really a big one. All in all I think I got a great product for the money that I spent.

This product is amazing. I have had a iPod, Phillips and a Sansa Fuze and this is by far the best in not just sound but as a all around product. I use it not just to play my music but to watch my tv shows and movies. The cell phone link feature is great, when you blasting you tunes and a call comes in you can answer it from the P3. I also ordered the Samsung Bluetooth headphone and they are a great addition to this unit. Sound is superb and the distance you can travel from the P3 is pretty far. My son has a Birthday coming up and this is what he is asking for. Only mistake I made was just getting the 8MB model, I would suggest at least 16 if not 32 as 1,300 songs, 200 pics and a few tv shows can fill it up...lol...

I have no doubt that this is the best player out there in this price range. Definitely recommended.

Hassle free usability for a touchscreen player. I bought a 8GB. You may want to consider atleast the 16GB.

This is a great alarm, and really that's all. I'm a heavy sleeper and audio alarms don't seem to work. This one with the vibration on my wrist wakes me up right away. The app still has a bit more to improve upon. On the weekends I like to sleep in but still track my sleep pattern. Well you can't with this app. To use the sleep tracker you have to set an alarm. I have a different app on my iPhone and it has a bit more nicer features than this one., and was only $.99 rather than $160.00. I do like the online part of this alarm thought. Over all a good product but a bit pricey.

I've had this for nearly 2 months and it's great!

This has been great so far. My iPhone or iPod fits snugly and and my iPhone even has a hard case on it. I know that's been a problem for others, but not one for me.

The snooze delay is 10 minutes. It's too bad I can't change this, but that's fairly minor. I sometimes set the alarm on my phone, too, if I need additional waking.

It's nice to have a clock that's much easier to adjust the time. The previous one only went up. This one goes up and down in case it gets ahead, which it has by a couple of minutes.

Otherwise, I haven't had a problem. The speakers aren't wonderful, but good enough for me. It's an alarm clock, not a sound system. Spend more if you need that.

Also, I like that the buzzer gets louder the longer it rings.

It's under $30 and that works for me! (purchased at Best Buy)

I read the other reviews that the battery backup doesn't function. Mine does. The only negative aspect is that I have to take my iphone out of its' case to dock due to side clearence. This is a very large clock, over two feel long. Very nice, bright blue numbers are clearly visible from quite a distance. The colons between the hours, minutes and seconds blink for each second passing.

The clock comes with a close approximation of the correct time but it was very easy to set and has the option of a 24 hour clock setting or 12 hour (with an AM/PM indicator).

The clock does not have the option of running on batteries and I don't think I'd want to keep changing them out anyway. It comes with mounting screws and anchors.

This is a great clock for a business, gym, workout room, recreational hall, bingo hall, etc. The possibilities are endless since it has such great visibility and clarity.

I am at the age where I need reading glasses for things like looking at a wristwatch or checking the time on my phone. This clock lets me see the time at a glance, day or night, without putting on glasses. Also, I have a developmentally disabled daughter with poor vision who cannot tell time on an analog clock. I replaced the over-sized analog clock I had in the living room with this one. She loves being able to tell everyone what time it is. A small thing, to be sure, but such a pleasure for her.

First of all, it's BIG! It's 24" long and 8" tall and 2 3/8" deep. This is a substantial clock. The face is glass and the frame is a simple black metal. It features 3" tall, red LED numerals that are so bright you can read them from anywhere in the room. It shows the hour, minutes and seconds and also has LED backlit AM and PM designation. You can even set it to display in military time.

It can be wall mounted with the 2 included screws (and dry wall adapters) or set atop a ledge or bookcase. I have mine sitting on built-in cabinets next to the fireplace. It is electric so it requires placement near an electrical outlet. The included power adapter has a 6' cord. It also has a back up battery so it does not lose time in the event of a power failure. That is an exceptional feature, in my opinion.

It comes well packaged with plenty of foam packing inside the cardboard box. No worries there.

It has a rather industrial look that is surprisingly wonderful in my old, Craftsman-style home. I think it would be very attractive in all but the most ornately decorated rooms. Everyone who has seen this clock in my living room remarks on how spectacular it is. It's almost a statement piece.

Because it is so bright and you cannot make it dimmer, you probably wouldn't want this clock in a bedroom. But since it is easily read in even bright sunlight, it would be excellent in any other room.

The directions for setting the clock are pretty bad, but I got it set fairly quickly. It uses 3 buttons on the back labeled A, B and C to set the time. I would like to see this company produce a more detailed owner's manual because the single sheet of poor instructions just doesn't do this fine clock justice. Other than the instructions, I am completely delighted with this clock!

You have to see this digital time piece to appreciate its size two feet in length. There's not much documentation that comes with the clock, just a sheet with bare bones directions for setting the date and time. While I setting the numbers, I noticed they were already correct; the date was spot on, and the time was just a couple minutes off. Pretty amazing. I have the clock plugged into a receptacle with a wall switch for the time being; it'll eventually be on the screened in porch.

I've turned off the switch a few times for five or ten minute intervals. When I turn the power back on, the time comes back to the correct time automatically.

The clock is easy to set and easy to hang or position on a table. The cord is rather short, but it would be easy to attach an extension for a longer reach. With the red digital numbers visibility is excellent.

I think this clock could be a good addition for a business, perhaps in its lobby or an office. Actually any large room that could use the addition of a high visibility clock would benefit by having one of these clocks installed.

One of the things that always frustrated people I worked with who had limited or low vision, was how to tell time. I purchased talking clocks, which could sometimes be a tad irritating. We'd be talking and all of a sudden we'd get *the* announcement, a computerized announcement that could be rather annoying at times. Mind you, this clock looks like something that could be at a track meet, but it serves the purpose. The 3" LED numerical display comes in either blue or red (I have the blue). Check out the measurements before buying.

Now, if you check around, Sears is asking considerably more for this very same clock so this is actually a bargain. This clock was already set when I received it. It does have a memory chip (atomic?) that has one advantage I find especially appealing. If the power goes out, you don't have to reset it. It's quite easy to set using three simple A, B, C buttons on the rear of the clock. The cord is not overly long, a fact that many people appreciate. If your plug is not close to where you want it, simply use an extension cord.

When I bought this item, I remember there were about 20 reviews and the average rating was about 4. I liked the look of it more than a comparably priced Phillips alarm clock, and skimming the first couple of comments it seemed like it would do the trick of waking me up to Morning Edition.

The product came last week, and to put it bluntly, it was not what I expected. The thing is huge. Clearly, I should have looked at the specs more closely, because then I might have realized that thing weighs 8 pounds and can hardly fit on a nightstand. Why it is marketed as an alarm clock and not a docking station with some minor -albeit barely functional -alarm capabilities, I haven't a clue.

So, now, about those features. The remote is indecipherable; the interface is arguably worse. I'm not sure how a device can make something as simple as setting an alarm for 7am take roughly 18 steps and still leave you uncertain as to whether it will go off, but somehow, this system has managed to accomplish that feat.

Further, if you do manage to actually get your alarm to go off, expect everyone in your house or apartment building to despise you, for you will cause their ears to bleed or leave them with auditory PTSD. That's because the alarm doesn't go off at the volume you were listening to music to or something logical like that. Instead, it blares with all the volume of an AC/DC concert. This random volume increase also happens when switching inputs or trying to put the device to sleep. I've gone through the instructions, and there's no way to change that as far as I can tell. (Also, real talk: A person shouldn't have to rely on an instruction manual to figure out something as simple an alarm clock. If that's the case, your design is terrible.)

I guess the bright side to that is that you'll definitely wake up.

Anyway, after having all of these problems with this clock monster, I decided to go back and check the reviews to see what everyone loved about this thing and what I just wasn't understanding. Imagine my surprise when there was only one single review left for this product, and it gave it a full two stars. I'm assuming that -unless I hallucinated those original reviews -they've all been removed by Amazon and were likely nothing but sockpuppeting. So, good job whoever was behind that: You succeed in selling me what will likely become an 8-lb paperweight.

If this product were smaller, if it actually were operable, if it didn't occasionally do things like randomly play AM stations when it's supposed to be in the sleep mode, it could actually be a decent product. The sound itself isn't bad, and it's actually a pretty aesthetically pleasing system if you look past the bulk problem.

In sum, if you're interested an iPod dock that you want to do nothing but be color-coordinated with your other devices and play some music, this could work for you. But if you're thinking about buying this for any of the features advertised? Try something else.

of music on my itouch rock, rap, classical, electronic and this

thing makes all of it sound great. The bass is pretty killer... in fact

my roommates have asked me to turn it down multiple times. This thing

is LOUD. (I guess that's why it's so big.) It works pretty well as a

charging dock for my iTouch too. I leave the iTouch in at night and use

it as an alarm clock. The remote takes some time to figure out but

works pretty well. Radio reception is good, and works best near a

window or at the very least above ground.also works iPhone what my freind has you need to set the iPhone to airplane mode so it can play the music Overall it is worth the money better then most clock radio's

It is on the large side but it does look good and has good sound. It's kinda my stereo system right now more than an alarm clock so, the fact that I can use my iPod and turn up the volume is great. The controller is a little fussy though.

This item is listed as coming from "The Price Pros" however the inovice shows "Depot Repair Services, LLC." I suspect this product was a Timex return and reconditioned. The alarm was definitely not "Mega Sound" and was a poor choice. I ordered a sonic boom which is about 10 times louder than this alarm. No where was there an indication that I was buying anything other than a brand new unit.

When I decided to purchase a radio, I was looking for one that was small and light-weight so if my kitten knocked it down she wouldn't get crushed. My last radio worked great but was too heavy. The only time I listen to the radio is to sleep, so a sleep timer was the main feature I needed. When I found this radio I was unsure whether it had that feature or not, so I called iLive and they assured me it did (Liars!). When I received the radio I thought it was awesome. The sliding door was so cute, the speakers sounded great, and it was small just like I wanted. It is also wall mountable, which there had been debate on according to the other reviews I read. Bedtime comes and I find out that the timer is actually an alarm to turn the radio on, NOT a sleep timer to turn the radio off. I ended up returning the radio because it could not serve the specific purpose that I ordered it for. But for those that are just looking for a great little radio and not one with a sleep timer, then I highly recommend this product.

The information provided by Amazon & the ilive co did not accurately describe the size & configuration of the product. I am keeping it for a Holiday present otherwise I would return it. From the picture it looks like it is one intregal unit about 12" but in reality the main unit is 12" plus 2 detached speakers. That would have been to know before purchase. My 3rd generation Nano did play fine & I had to turn up the volume & down when I switched to the radio.

Rented a condo in Key West that did not have a music system so I donated this one. It was a wonderful surprise when we set it up (had it shipped to a freind down there). The ipod dock worked great. Only problem is that an iphone is just a bit problematic to get in and out of the dock. My nano was a breeze. Very good sound quality and volume. Very sleek, very appealing to the eye. Did not feel or look like a piece of junk.

I bought the Creek CD player used from an Amazon vendor, saving about a $1000 on it. Otherwise I would have never considered buying such a high-end player because I couldn't have afforded it. I basically invested with the idea I wanted something to last me a good decade, until the cycle of new technology phasing out older technology to then be revived years later would be complete. It's actually cheaper at present to buy used CDs than downloading mp3s if you want the whole album, plus you still get liner notes, lyrics, etc. I listen to tons of music at home, mostly vinyl records but there's a whole range of albums published in the 1990s to the beginning of the 21st century that never saw a vinyl release (nor are they available on mp3. You would be surprised).

Anyway, the Creek CD player totally astonished me because there IS a difference in the sound quality compared to cheap ones. We tried it first with some Brian Eno ambient music and it came out crystal clear on the speakers. Since then, I've been playing a lot of CDs that used to skip on my old player (John Cale's Paris 1919, The Velvet Underground & Nico, The Fall's Franz Experiment) and they magically stopped skipping. And they sound absolutely gorgeous (especially the John Cale one). I also play a lot of classical music from Bach to Morton Feldman or John Luther Adams, and the listening experience has really been enhanced on the Creek.

In addition, the most notable feature for me was the total absence of shuffling sound from the player. You know how all cheap CD players always produce that annoying "frrrrrt frrrrrt" sound when you play something? It's totally absent from the Creek. Only thing you hear is the music.

So, from being really skeptical about high-end audio equipment I've become a true believer. Next step when I win the lottery is buying a very good amp/power amp & preamp

This is really a cool product. I was able to pair with my Mobile(HTC TyTN II), Headphone/Headset (Lubix) very easily. It got paired in the first try. The instructions are pretty clear in the manual. Music is good for the small size, Bass is less, naturally. Can't compare with Bose. The music from my Phone through the BluePin on this is really good. The Blupin Receiver was able to receive music till 15-20 feet clearly, after that it breaks. I was able to FF/RR/Stop, Adjust volume from my phone.

As a Bluetooth transmitter, it works great. I connected my TV Audio output to 277 using the line-in and change the mode to AUX with BluePin in TX mode and used a Lubix Bluetooth Head Phone/Set. The transmission was awesome.

Tested with iPod/iPhone and this works as stated. The snooze button in the front is good one. Even we can switch off the display using this. Radio works as stated. Weight less. Looks great. Has a remote but not senstive.

Actually I was searching for a Bluetooth Transmitter for my TV. The Sony and Motorola were quoted @ Amazon for $60. I thought it's pretty costly for the simple Bluetooth Transmitter of class 1. So searched the net and found this for same price. So now I have a Transmitter with multiple functionality.

So this is an All in one model.

Pros

1) Receiver for my Phone to listen music

2) Wireless Transmitter to my TV, so I can watch the TV without disturbing anybody using my Bluetooth head phone

3) Listening to iPod/Radio in Wireless mode with full control.

If you read the manual twice , it easy to understand everything.

Cons

1) The cons, I would say is that it's not Bluetooth2(has 300Ft of range) only Bluetooth1 (30 Ft range)

2) No Equalizer/Pre-set for music.

3) Remote can be made better.

This radio does everything that it advertises. It looks and works great. Two things, howerever. (1) the instructions could be a little clearer to understand. It was difficult to set the volume for the alarms by reading the instructions. I finally found out how by trial and error; and (2) the clock light is very bright, even at its lowest setting. It would be better if the light could be manually set at a lower intensity, similar to a dimmer switch. Other than that, I would recommend this radio.

This is my 3rd IPOD Dock. Previously owned an IHOME and another ILUV Product, which I had to return. This one has been amazingly good so far at this price. Bought it for $53-ish from E. Expo through Amazon.

Pros:

(1) Bluetooth the others were pricier and had no bluetooth. To my surprise, bluetooth pairing and functionality has been great. I have a Blackberry Curve 8310 and it connects to it instantly. I can play mp3 from my blackberry and route the music to the ipod dock over BlueTooth. I read other reviews which talk about limited BT range. So this is the first thing I tested. I kept the clock in my kitchen in first floor and my blackberry in 2nd floor bed room, which are quite far apart. The music was streaming like normal. I use the BT Feature pretty often and my blackberry pretty much works like a mp3 source and a remote. I can choose the song, change the volume or stop the music from the blackberry. Better than my expectation.

(2) Sound quality is good.

(3) Works great with my IPOD 30GB Video.

(4) Comes with a Line-IN (aux) and Line-Out.

(5) Good looks. I own a black clock.

(6) FM Reception is great for most of the strong stations. Weaker stations may generate some noise

Cons:

(1) Remote range is too low, less than 7ft. Within the same room, the remote doesn't work sometimes across half the length of the room.

After 10 months of usage, this is still going great. I love its bluetooth receiving feature. I used to use it in my bedroom. Now I use it in my living room. I stream Pandora off my iPod/iPad/iPhone to this and from there, I have a line out to my music system. Works flawlessly. All of its other functionalities have been working great for me. I would recommend this to anyone.

This alarm clock is okay, nothing exceptional. I was surprised that this is battery-operated, which means the LED light is very dim so it will not waste the battery. It is cute cut I'm not sure I would have bought it if I had realized it was battery-operated.

Wanted a clock so that my 4 year old would know when she could wake up, she likes to wake up at 5AM but knows she can not come out of her room until 7AM. I bought this shockingly-colored MP3 player as a gift for my wife, along with the armband holder. She uses it while working and at the gym.

As far as accessories are concerned, it came with a USB cord and earbuds, period.

The player is extraordinarily small and light. The body is made of shiny plastic that scratches easily, so you'll want to get some protection for it. The 2GB capacity is enough to hold roughly 40 full albums encoded at 128kbps.

Not having listened to many other brands of MP3 players, I have no basis for comparison as to the sound quality of this unit. I personally find the sound quality to be very good, limited perhaps by the type of headphones that you choose.

As with most other Creative MP3 players, it requires no special software to hook up to your computer. Just plug it in using the included USB cable, and you can start copying files and folders almost instantly. File transfer times are neither remarkably fast nor overly slow. The most efficient way of filling the player is to collect all the files and folders you want to copy, drag the whole mess to the player via Windows Explorer, and go get yourself something to eat while it labors away.

Creative claims that you can charge the player via your USB port, but this doesn't seem to work properly. After we opened the box, I charged the player up for close to 8 hours, and it only had enough juice to last for approximately 1 hour, even though it claimed it was done charging. In the end, we had to purchase an AC charger (got an opened-box iPod charger, which works fine) to fully charge the battery.

Even with a full charge, you won't get anywhere close to Creative's claims of 8 hours' listening time more like 5 hours, tops.

It's obvious that Creative's business model requires customers to purchase pretty much everything separately from the case you'll need to keep your delicate player from getting scratched up, to the AC charger needed to actually charge the battery. Be sure to factor that into the price, if you want to get the most out of your player.

Creative's Zen Stone line was meant to be the upgrade to the Zen nano, aka Muvo mini. Unfortunately, the 1GB Zen Stone had some quality issues. With the new 2GB Zen Stone Plus, Creative has tried to improve on previous models and compete with the Sandisk Sansas.

I love the new Sandisk Sansa's. The Sansa Express has the advantage that you can plug it directly into your USB port without a cable. SanDisk Sansa Express 2 GB MP3 Player (Black) Still, the Creative Zen Stone feels nicer in the hand. It's not as sleek as the Sansa Express and doesn't have all the cool cache' of an iPod shuffle or iPod nano. But it is priced very attractively and has some NICE features. It's good for a starter, workout unit, or gift for a kid.

The Creative Zen Stone Plus is lighter than the competition, but is still larger than the new iPod Shuffle 2nd and 3rd generations. Unlike the shuffle, you can actually see your track names! The OLED screen is perfect for a player this size but does suck more power and shorten the battery life.

The controls are an improvement from the Zen nano days. While I didn't mind the toggle wheel, it has been replaced by intuitive buttons for the standard functions (select, up, down, play, pause, forward or reverse). There's a headphone jack, microphone hole, and a USB port.

Another change from the Zen nano days is the Lithium Ion battery, which gives you about 10 hours if your lucky. This is less versatile than the old battery operated unit, but more convenient.

What about sound? The sound is great, and it comes through in pure stereo. As usual, you will hear complaints about the earbuds. Most people replace their standard earbuds so I won't hold that against Creative.

The Zen Stone doesn't have larger storage options. For those needing more space, you will have to explore the Creative Zen, Sandisk Sansa or new iPod Nano. All of those units have higher price tags.

Santa brought this little MP3 player to my 10 year old daughter. I thought she was going to be disappointed because she specifically requested an IPOD. However, she is VERY pleased beacause it also has a FM radio and a voice recorder. I am surprised how much she listens to the radio. The downside is that Itunes is NOT compatible with the Zen. Yes, of course there is a website where we can download songs for the Zen, but since we already have an existing Itunes account I was hoping that it would work. Had I known prior to purchasing a Zen that I would have to "buy" all new songs, I probably would not have purchased it.

I ordered three of these (in green) and NONE of them worked. They performed when plugged into the computer, but failed to hold a charge once disconnected from the PC. This was after the tech-support recommended "all night" charging.

By way of background, I'm fairly computer savvy, have a new PC based system, and spent hours on the phone with Creative tech support trying to fix the problems. Ultimately, I had to return the units.

Stay away.

They're refurbished, so you get what you pay for. I bought one for me and one for my boyfriend, mine will hold a charge for 3 gym trips if I'm consistent, but if you let this sit for any amount of time, it will lose it's charge. Also, the little thing doesn't always charge when you plug it in. I've had this thing sitting on the charger for hours with nothing going on. I usually plug it and unplug it several times and push a bunch of buttons just to make sure it's charging. I don't know if that does anything but I've found if I just plug it in, it doesn't always charge. My boyfriends player lasts even less time than mine (1-2 days) so your experience could be hit or miss.

Nokia E90 Communicator Unlocked Phone with 3.2 MP Camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Media Player, and MicroSD

The phone is good for documents, pictures, videos, web surfing, and all the main functions that don't require a internet connection. If you rely heavily on email then I would suggest the blackberrys instead. The email settings on the E90 is poor, you can only set it to recieve every 30 mins or might have to sync it manually. Over all phone rating is a 8/10 and the email software is a 1/10.

My only complaint is that I haven't been able to get the VOIP features working yet, but I'm pretty sure that's my fault, not the fault of the E90. Voice quality is great on T-Mobile, and (contrary to the complaint of the previous reviewer) email works great and can be synchronized down to every five minutes. I use both the regular email for my GMail account and the blackberry connect software for my corporate account, and they work without fail.

Battery life is better than I expected, and usability is excellent. One problem is the phone's size... it's a little bit of a brick, but you can't have this much convergence without a small sacrifice of size. It's much smaller and lighter than the previous combination of iPod Nano/cell phone/laptop that it replaced.

My reason for buying the Nokia E90 was to combine a cellphone and my Palm Zire 72 organizer into one unit. I had a pretty good idea going in what I was looking for in a smartphone; full qwerty keyboard with independent number keys (easier to read), easy to read screen, able to fit in my pocket if necessary. Most of the devices oferred by the major cell service providers had numerous fatal flaws. Some were too wide to be held in the hand comfortably as a phone or fit in my pocket, some had keyboards that were too hard to read and too cramped. And being a mac guy I was not at all sold on windows mobile.

After looking at dozens of phones and hundreds of reviews I ended up with the Nokia and I have no regrets at all. I won't go into technical specs that are better reviewed by experts, but I will mention a few nice features. One of the things that surprises me most about this device is the degree to which it is customizable. For example, go to "profiles" and you can select the outdoor setting to get a loud ring and vibrate. Select the meeting setting to get a single beep. No more scrolling from loud ring to silent while everybody can hear you. All of the profile setting are completely customizable. I also like the fact that the device can lay flat with the screen tilting up allowing you to use fingers (if you're at your desk) or the screen can lay flat allowing the use of thumbs if you are standing. A few more nice surprises: when the alarm sounds, it starts softly and gradually increases in volume; in calendar it automatically makes the next letter a capital after a period; it's possible to check your email with one hand using the front screen only.

This is a great receiver. There are some others out there that are smaller but aren't as easy to use and don't have the clear text that the Audiovox has. I looked at the XACT and the Star Dock before buying this unit. The other units didn't have direct track access (they only have preset buttons 1-6) so imagine scrolling through 120+ channels to get the one you want. There are 10 buttons to select from on the Audiovox. The can be used for presets or for direct channel access (just press the dial first). The Audiovox also has a bigger screen with four lines of text.

I also really like the quality of the Sirius service. I've listened to XM before and the quality just isn't as good. Being able to listen to my school's college football games is a great bonus.

I have had sirius for two years, and have two friends that I give 3 subscriptions to as gifts (each additonal subscriptin is about 8 dollar a month) they all love them. I have a life time subscription. My original audiovox got ripped off, so I needed to get it replaced and they don't hold it as one of the three changes in radios I am allowed. For the money, the third version of the Autiovox is best it gives good fm transmistion that has had to be toned down per the FCC in other models. Unless you want to record the shows with protable models that are more expensive, this is the way to go. Sirius content is better than xm esp. if you love nfl football, nba basketball, etc.

I've been using the radio for about a week now. In that week, I've driven through southern Ontario, western NY, PA, WV, MA, and VA.

Radio itself: Seems well built, solid. Has a nice FM transmitter. I haven't experienced any of the problems other people seem to have with the newer radios (i.e. week transmitter). LCD is clear and bright, even during the day. My only complaint is the number of 'motions' required to change the frequency (Menu button, scroll down 4 or 5 options, select FM Frequency, scroll down to 2nd option, select it, etc...). As I was traveling through several States, I ended up changing about three to four times. If you end up staying in one area, then this won't be as important to you.

Mount: It works. I 'stuck' it to my dash and will not end up screwing it in I don't need to from the looks of things. It's a bit tough getting the radio out of the cradle. Also, the first time I changed the position of the cradle, it felt like I was going to break it. Other reviews, however, had prepared me for this and I wasn't worried too much.

Sirius service: I bought this in the States (I currently live in Canada) because I wanted the US service (why does everything in CAN appear to be a watered down version of the comparable product/service available in the US?). However, I needed a US credit card...hrm...so I signed up for the CAN service instead. It looks like I lose a few channels and the service costs more ($20 for start up, $15 for service PLUS GST!!!). On the good side, however, the CAN service worked flawlessly in the States as I expected and I experienced no hickups when crossing the border. Also, I was told by Sirius CAN that because I have a US radio, that I will be able to get the US stations when I move back down (and acquire US service plan). Otherwise, if I had bought a CAN system, I would have had to re-purchase a US system in order to get the US specific stations.

Ok I made a believer out of my wife. She was a bit skeptical about me spending 15 a month on this, but with 28 + hours of driving behind us, she's now impressed with the station quality and selection. So am I

UPDATE: APRIL 13, 2007. Here's something I just found out. I purchased a US radio with the intent of using the US Service in Canada (see watering down comment above). That didn't fly because I don't have a US credit card. Fair enough, so I sign up for the CAN service. Just found out that I won't be able to pick up some CAN stations because my radio is a US model. Also, I won't be able to pick up many (by my count 10) US stations because I have the CAN service. It's the worst of both worlds in my mind, for now. I still get about 95% of Sirius stations, so I'm not too upset. Plus, when I move back down to the States I won't have to re-purchase a new unit.

So, just be aware of where your radio is coming from and which service you intend to use.

My confusion comes when trying to get the boombox accessory. Dose the sir-bb3 boombox work with this plug and play? The reason I am confused is because when I went to purchase the boombox I was told it only works with the sir-pnp3 plug and play!?!?!?! They don't explain that very well.

Nokia E72 Unlocked Phone Featuring GPS with Voice Navigation - U.S. Version with Full Warranty (Zodi

I upgraded from a Nokia E71 (which was an unbelievable upgrade from my previous experiences with Blackberry), and for some reason I was expecting that same leap from the E71 to E72. However, I soon realized, after using my E72 for the past couple days, that the E71 did in fact spoil me. The E72 is still no doubt an amazing phone -along with the E71 and other top Nokias, it's still in its own little league above the Blackberries and other smartphones -but I'll admit I was slightly let down.

If you are looking to buy a Nokia (or any phone) I'd definitely recommend the E72. If you are a huge Nokia fan, then fine, upgrade. If you're happy with your E71....then I'd really think about it (or at least get your hands on one in person). The E72 is much faster, the camera's awesome, and it's still a beautiful phone. BUT you should know a couple things:

-The construction is not quite as top-notch as the E71. It's a little lighter, with some metal replaced for a sort of heavy, hardened plastic. I've heard of the battery panel being loose, but I haven't run into the problem. Mine was made in China, while my E71 was made in Finland, although it seems there can always be problems no matter where it's made.

-The optical pad is a nice touch (it takes some getting used to) and, occasionally, it can misinterpret your choice to click to the side for a sliding movement. But overall I'm getting used to it (and if you really don't like it you can always switch it off).

-I do notice the slightest high pitched buzz when the volume is turned up and the sound coming from the other end of the call is on the loud side. The E71 never had this problem. I take it the speakers were either downgraded or because of the extra plastic there's some sort of vibration (could just be my model). UPDATE: Seems the speaker just needed some "breaking in" (strange, I know). This problem is no longer present. However, still not the best volume in speakerphone mode.

***Overall, I'd say if you're looking at the E72 compared to any top smartphone, this is an excellent choice***

IF you're looking at the E72 and E71 side by side, it is THEN that you start to notice the little details that I mentioned above. True, there are a few more plastic pieces than the E71, but when I think about the Blackberries and iPhones, you're never going to get the same quality you got with the E71, and the E72 is just a notch below that.

E72 is a 4.5 star phone. E71 will always be the best phone I've ever owned.

With one word: NO.

After owning and E71 for over a year, which for me was by far the best phone that I have ever used, I was really excited about getting the new E72 since it featured a 600Mhz CPU which seemed to be my main and only issue with the E71. However the CPU was the only upgrade in this unit and almost everything else seemed to be in fact a downgrade. As mentioned by another reviewer this phone has serious stability issues. The FP2 OS is extremely buggy and crashes, reboots and freezes several times a day. Nokia really needs to work on a new firmware to correct this. Below is every quality of the phone that I could think of as compared to the E71.

HARDWARE

BUILD QUALITY: Definitely not as solid of a feeling compared to the mostly metal E71. The D-pad feels like cheap plastic and it has some free play. The back cover tends to move occasionally when you are holding the phone to your ear.

SPEAKERPHONE: Very poor quality compared to the E71. There is very noticeable buzzing near the maximum volume, even with high quality music files. Calls on speakerphone at max volume are plain annoying due to the buzzing. On top of that the speaker is not as loud as the one on the E71.

CALL QUALITY: Excellent call quality except at the maximum volume where the call speaker also becomes distorted.

KEYBOARD AND TOUCHPAD: The keyboard feels slightly better than the one on the E71. The buttons seem to give out somewhat of a better feedback. However the E72 is slightly wider than the E71 which makes it a little harder to type on with one hand. The new track pad navigation provides a very inconsistent performance and it is not even close to the one on the newer blackberries. Scrolling up and down is perfectly fine but scrolling sideways becomes an exercise. The good news is that the original directional pad like on the E71 is still there so you can just disable the touchpad if you hate it just as much as I did after a week of usage.

CAMERA: It is still a cell phone camera so keep your expectations low. It takes decent pictures and the quality is about the same as the E71 but with 5 megapixel images and slightly wider lens. The camera application now has built-in panorama mode. Video at 640x480 is plain horrible. The flash on this phone is actually pretty decent. One thing that was very annoying to me is that it uses a very bright focus light(AKA The flash) which makes focusing at macro impossible if you are trying to take a picture of something with brighter colors that reflect more light. There is no way to disable the focus light either, not even in macro mode. Nokia should think about this as well.

BATTERY LIFE: There is simply nothing like it. Except the E71. The battery life on the E72 is also exceptional. I am able to get 2 to 3 days of very heavy usage on it, including 2 to 3 hours of talking, 2 hours of browsing and some text messaging. I have not seen any other phone in this category which gets even close to these stats.

GPS: Works great and it gets a position fix generally within 5 seconds. It seems a little faster than the E71. The E72 also has a compass.

SOFTWARE

This is the bad part.

FP2: Aside from unifying various internet connections I really did not see much if any of an improvement in this version of the Symbian OS. In fact it features some ugly menu transitions and it has a lot of stability issues. You would get out of memory error with a subsequent freezing at least a couple of times in a day and reboots and total freezes which require battery removal are not uncommon either.

APPLICATION UNLOCK: Yes, the phone is hackable with HelloOX 2 and up.

WEB BROWSER: The browser is definitely improved from the E71 afar as rendering and navigation goes. However I was never able to complete even ONE single browsing session without this thing crashing and just exiting in the middle of something. It would have been great if it did not crash.

E-MAIL: About as bad as the client available on my first T-Mobile Pocket PC with Windows Mobile 2002. Although that one was a little better than what Nokia has provided. It is almost 2010 and Nokia still does not have an e-mail client which supports in-line HTML. The Nokia messaging software and service is plain horrible. After 3 days of usage I just cancelled my account and went to using webmail. It is really that bad and this is unacceptable for a supposed "business" device. As an alternative, I would recommend Emoze. Their software even partially supports in-line HTML. If you have Hotmail, you can download Windows Live for Symbian. It works really well.

PODCASTING & INTERNET RADIO: Missing!!!???! Very disappointing.

SIP CLIENT: Missing!!! The SIP settings are there, but there is no client. So forget about gizmo or any similar service unless you are using a third party client like Nimbuzz or Fring.

OFFICE APPLICATIONS: This is one positive category. Quickoffice features a free upgrade to open and edit Office 2007 documents. Nokia has also added Wpresenter, Multiscanner and Font Magnifier as standard applications.

Overall the E72 is a mixed bag for me. It delivers on speed and the browser is well improved but the stability issues, missing software and some other quirks make this device seem like a downgrade. If I was aware of these issues it is likely that I would have stayed with the E71. So if you are in doubt, my advice would be save your money or at least wait for a firmware update which fixes the stability issues. I hope this was helpful.

The E72 is one of the best phones ever created.... I am a proud owner of tons of phones and tons more over the last 10 years. The Nokia E72 is a beast.... and I save that category for the rarest of gadgets. Let me explain why (briefly).

Right now I have an Iphone 2g, Ipaq 910, Bold 9700, and the E72. All of my phones serve a purpose in my ever changing lifestyle.

The Iphone is probably the best pda device ever madeemails, sms, mms (now), apps, shortcuts, games, and ease of use. But its still lacking, to me, in various areaslagging, running multiple apps, camera quality, and battery. Most importantly, I hate going in and out of appswhen closed its closed.

The Ipaq 910is probably one of the worst devices ever purchased; yet when running, its the king of pocketpc's. It was tethering at speeds of 10.2 almost 3 years ago. Now everyone is trying to include 3.5g speeds. Sadly, the battery life sucks and it crashes more than a toddler on training wheels. I still have it and refuse to part ways.

The BB 9700 is hands down bb's best effort to me; I would say its the best mobile device on the market. I even added the droid interface and the droid ringtone to spice it up. The track ball is gone and the track pad is even more addictive. It now has a 624 processor and all the bells and whistles, needless to say the best email system going. However, I just get bored with it. I cant figure it out.

Now E72 is my second Nokia... I bought the N97 in June but the price wasnt worth keeping. Nonetheless, it was a quality device. I read about the E72 recently and fell in love with the specs.

Pros-

Battery lifeis unbelievable! None of the aforementioned phones can last a day without dragging out a car charger or a wall charger. The E72 can last 2 days with running: emails, taking pics, creating videos, tons of sms, apps, and tons of phone calls.

Camerais great. I love the quality of the 5mp pictures. The quality changes at night I might add. I almost forgot the front facing camera too.

Phone qualityunbelievable calls...with headphones, bluetooth, or device calls.

smssure its not threaded sms but there are programs that can change the UI if needed.

Operating systemyes its outdated but its solid as a rock...I will take that all day long. Whats worst than having no phone? A phone that crashes... the symbian 60 is like a old BMW, period.

Track pad/clickertrack pad is not as good as the bb but combined with the usual Nokia E series clicker pad make a great combination.

Web Browserexcellent.. The best in its class.

Video Callingrecently Fring added skype video calling... I was blown away.

Audio messengingevery now and then when I am in a hurry I like to record audio messages oppose to sms...great addition.

Contacts, calendar interfaceits smooth...if you can marry with google sync...its even better.

tetheringno need to purchase a program, it does it for you. You can even add a 3rd party program to make it a hotspot....

3.5gits the fastest phone its class... and if you can buy it unlock, you can take advantage of the various network speeds. No need to buy wifi while traveling.

Nokia Office is a great program with Office and Pdf capability...

GPS with OVI maps is superb... now that its free, its a must have with any Nokia.

Cons-

*Email interface is cumbersome... but now that there is Nokia Email, its a lot better. However, I added Seven push email and its comparable to having BB push service.

*Email Links from BrowserI hate that I cant email a friend a good article from a website... maybe I am missing it some how.

*Nothing is in alphabetical order...when changing apps... Most are all over the place.

*LED flash is on the keypad not the top...I kinda miss the blackberry flashing light.

*On screen function icons too small-like sending a text or email, alarm, and bluetooth... are too small and if you need to know if a email is sent, you have to pay close attention to the sent icon or check the outbox...

*Must use signed aps if not, you can forget it unless you spend hours trying to get it signed...

*Usb jack and phone charger jack different....

Overall I still say this is the best gadget phone out...its a thinking mans phone because a lot of the capabilities are hidden and require work. However, once you have mastered it, you have a mp3 player, an entry level 5mp hotshot, great phone, pda, pocketpc, video camera, great gps, social networker (Nokia Facebook and Twitter Gravity, video caller, and a hotspot.

I highly recommend the Unlocked version oppose to ATT bloatware crasher versions....

I was waiting for this phone since last 6 month after it was announced in Singapore. I had E51 and wanted to upgrade to a QUERTY business phone. I liked E71 and when i was about to buy e71 I found the news of E72.

I was one the first few to purchase this for almost 450$, But i am very happy with it till now. The features i liked most are

1. The digital compass. This is the most essential hardware/software you require if you really want to use GPS.

2. The Optical nav pad, This makes the scrolling really easy and enjoyable.

3. The latest 600 Mhz processor which makes it the best performing mobile.

4. The camera, finally Nokia's cameras are going to be useful. (I never liked Nokia's camera quality).

5. The accelerometer which can be used in step counter software.

6. The host of all the E series features.

Coming from a Windows mobile phone (HTC tilt), I love this phone. I have been considering the Tilt2, but wanted to try something other than a WinMo (I didn't find myself using a lot of WinMo features/apps that called for another similar one). iPhone was out of question as I wanted tethering, better battery life and dedicated keyboard. I have been using it for 3 weeks now and liking it more day by day. Few things before moving to Pros and Cons of the phone This phone is not for people that like simplicity of touch screen phones (like iPhone). There is a learning curve in using this phone's features and the shortcut keys. But, imo once familiar with the functions/shortcuts one can do things a lot faster than a touch screen phone.

Pros

1. Looks sleek and professional. Call quality is excellent and plenty loud.

2. Keyboard feels very good even though the keys are slightly smaller. They have a nice feedback when pressed.

3. Shortcut keys! There are quite a few shortcut keys on QWERTY keyboard to control phone functions and inside applications. While this feature has a learning curve, I found it very useful once learned.

4. Snappy performance. Very fast and responsive.

5. OVI MAPS for Free! this is simply awesome. Now you can have a GPS with maps for as many countries as you need, for free!. Below is a mini review for this feature to explain it better.

a. The GPS locks on the position very fast while using A-GPS. Most of the time within 10-15 sec I have a lock on the signal.

b. GPS interface is very good and user friendly (I have used the latest Garmin and Magellan).

c. Features include lane assistance, auto zoom in/out based on turns/directions, voice guidance, Speedometer, 2D/3D maps, route overview etc.

d. The map size while getting driving direction is a bit smaller on E72, due to smaller screen. Pretty much only 2x2 inch space is used to show the

map and rest is used for other information. It might look better on Nokias with larger touch screens. In spite of this, the auto zoom in/out makes it

easier to view the map details.

e. I compared it side by side with my Magellan and found it to be pretty accurate. E72 was faster in getting the signals (perhaps due to A-GPS)

6. Wifi Works wonderfully and connects to my home network with WPA2 security without any problems. Once connected, I can turn off scanning to save battery Life

7. Screen is very bright and readable in direct sunlight.

8. Battery life I can wait for 3 days (may be 4 if I wait for the phone to die on me) before I have to connect it to charger. I use Push emails (18 hrs a day) and stay connected to my home wireless network most of the time and occasional use of phone for talking. Even with heavy use I expect it to last at least for 2 days.

9. 3.5mm headphone jack

10. Comes with a 4GB micro SD card.

11. Decent 5MP camera and nice outdoor photo quality. Indoor photos are just OK (most cellphone cameras are the same).

Cons

1. Screen resolution is not great when compared other similar type phones (E.g. Blackberry bold). Would have been nice to have higher resolution on such a bright screen

2. Speaker phone volume is not loud enough

3. Mail for Exchange The version on phone is not bad, but it could be better. This is the only application that runs slow on this phone. It takes good few secs for it to open a mail. As it does not load the mail in HTML format automatically, the readability suffers. I had to scroll 2-3 pages to read a few liner mails. Got Roadsync (version 5) for discounted price from OVI store and loving it. It addresses all the problems with Mail for Exchange.

4. Optical trackpad is not very useful (even after setting sensitivity to high). I found using the D-pad quicker.

5. Micro USB connector and shortest cable the USB cable that came in the box is approx 7inch long. For such highly priced phone it would have been nice if Nokia included a good quality longer cable. Also, I would have preferred a Mini USB instead of Micro. Micro USB feels a bit fragile and I feel like I might break it if I'm a bit careless when connecting. Perhaps, the thinner case was a limitation to include a mini USB.

The phone crashed only once till date and that was when using the Mail for Exchange. I blame it on the application for the crash and not the S60 platform. Browsing experience is not as great a touch screen phone/phone with larger screen. But, there is always a compromise on size vs. features.

If, however, you own an older iPod, this is a nice quality system for the price. It offers a variety of features and accomplishes most of them proficiently.

These days you can define an electronic device by what is does and by what it does not do. Phillips describes this product as a clock radio with a docking system for an iPod/iPhone. As far as I am concerned, the docking system for the iPod/iPhone is the strongest feature.

Not only will the device charge an iPod and play music stored in iTunes, it promises to fit any model iPod/iPhone without the need for extra attachments of any kind. I tried the system with three trusty household iPods: an iPod/video (long in the tooth but with an entire family's music collection stored within), a 4th generation Nano (my personal favorite and purple), and an iPod Touch (2nd or possibly 3rd generation). All iPods are in cases and all these iPods fit the docking system easily without the need to remove its case. As far as I am concerned, this alone is worth the price of admission.

I was able to easily navigate the menus and playlists and raise and lower the sound volume of all three model iPods using the system's controls as well as the provided little remote control. Navigating around the iPod/Video was a bit pokey, but nothing terrible. The Nano was next in responsiveness. The iPod Touch worked the best and I was able to navigate around many of its features.

One of the benefits of using this docking system with the iPod Touch or iPhone is that you can connect to Pandora or other internet enabled services. This extends the listening experience greatly and allows the docking station to begin to compete with nifty internet radios such as the Logitech Squeezebox Logitech Squeezebox Radio Music Player with Color Screen (Black). I had no problem navigating Pandora with the remote control or the Touch's touch screen.

As far as the clock radio goes, I found it adequate. I enjoyed having FM radio with 20 pre-sets and an automatic tuning feature. I would enjoy AM radio as well; it would have been nice if it had been included.

The sound quality is ok. It's nothing like my Bose docking system that issued a mysterious click and stopped working over a year ago, but the Phillips has many more features and is far less expensive.

One very significant complaint I have concerns the digital clock on the outside of the docking station. The most important feature of a clock radio is the clock itself. If the clock is not accurate or consistent, you are lost. One feature of this system is when you insert an iPod or iPhone on to the device, the device defaults to the time on the iPod/iPhone. Now, this is a nifty feature if you have an iPhone and other reviewers have commented on it. However, I only have iPods. When I set up this docking system I set the clock. As long as the system stays plugged in, the clock should be accurate. When I inserted my three various iPods I discovered that none of their clocks were accurate. In fact, in 2 cases, the iPod's calendars and clocks had defaulted to factory presets. This is not something I would normally check.....the time on my iPod Nano, for instance, is not on my radar. If I sync'd these devices with my computer every day, perhaps their clocks would be accurate. Whatever. Each time I inserted an iPod on to the Phillips system, the time on the clock went from accurate to terribly awry. Adjusting the time on the iPod while it is docked does not help. The time is only sync'd once, when the iPod is first inserted. Each time I have used this as a clock radio, I have made it a point to confirm the accuracy of the time on the iPod before I connect it and then double check the time on the system after it syncs.

All in all, this is a decent system at a reasonable price. Time will tell how durable and dependable it is.

The Philips Docking System for iPod and iPhone is an attractive unit that serves as an iPod dock -recharging your device when it's plugged in -and an alarm clock radio. It performs the functions you'd expect from a clock radio: it has two alarms (with buzzer/radio/dock options) and snooze (9 mins.) and sleep functions. And the unit has some nice features: It grabs the time from your iPod so you don't have to set it manually (although you can). It has room for 20 preset FM stations which can be set either automatically or manually. It comes with a remote that seems to operate very smoothly. And it's great that the device can work with a range of iPod cases.

The device does have some issues, however, that prevent me from recommending it wholeheartedly.

1. This may well be -perhaps almost certainly is -a problem unique to the unit I received, however, the buzzer on both alarms is barely audible. You can hear it if you put your ear up against the unit, but there's no way it could wake anyone up. Since the alarm type will default to buzzer if you've selected dock (iPod) but don't have your iPod plugged in, that means that you have to be very careful to either select radio as your alarm preference or plug in your iPod before going to sleep.

2. The alarm buttons you have to push to turn off the alarm are flush with the top of the machine and thus very difficult to find by touch alone.

3. The connector that you plug your iPod into is spring loaded. This is nice in one sense, because when connected your iPod is pushed to the rear, securely nestled against a rubber nub that protrudes slightly from the speakers. But in order to plug in your iPod you have to push the connector forward, then seat the iPod on top of it. After many attempts I'm getting better at doing this, but it was initially very frustrating.

4. This is surely a question of taste, but I'm not thrilled with the sound. There's far too much bass, and there's no way to change the bass/treble ratio. One time I put my iPod on and it sounded much better. Great, I thought, maybe the bass issue was temporary! But it turned out that the iPod wasn't connected properly (see note 3), so I was hearing the iPod speakers and not the Philips speakers. That it sounded better unconnected is kind of sad.

If you live in the world of Apple like myself & my family, then this is the clock for you. The iPhone, iPad, & iPod can all charge and play from this. My family had a party and instead of making a mix CD for the occasion we were able to play music all night from the iPod. The sound is good. Has a lot of bass behind it. The programming took me a while to catch onto. However, it stores the info even when you unplug it. The blue light is very bright, I cover it up at night or else it makes the room glow blue. Overall, great device if you are an Apple user.

I wanted to love this product. Having read the other reviews here on Amazon before I made this purchase, I took notice that there were complaints about the bass/treble balance. Hey, who doesn't like a strong bass sound? Turns out not having control over the bass is a problem even for a basic music listener such as me.

When I listened to banda, all I heard was the tuba. When I listened to hip hop, I couldn't hear the lyrics. Classical -the flute no longer exists. Radio DJ's were unintelligible at times.

After dissatisfaction with the sound quality of pop, latin music, classical, hip hop, reggae and 80's new wave, I decided to return the set. It's a shame, because it is really easy to use, the remote control is good to have, and it's attractive and affordable.

Other users may have had better luck with their favorite genres, but I can say unequivocally that my $10 am/fm clock radio from Walgreen's has better sound.
