1.3" Dual SIM Card Quad Band Touch Screen Watch Cell Phone with Bluetooth FM Camera

1.3' Dual SIM Card Quad Band Touch Screen Watch Cell Phone with Bluetooth FM CameraThere are many things I love about this cell phone watch and a few things I don't like. First the things I like:

Dual Sim cards. I can't review how well this works yet because I live in an area with very poor cell reception. I have not yet been able to make a phone call but I have received a couple of SMS texts.

MP3. Incredible! The audio quality is on par with my iPod! Very crisp, clear, rich tones when using the included headset. There is an included equalizer but I have not felt a need to adjust anything because the sound quality is fantastic. My one complaint? Volume control. I adjusted it as low as it goes and it is still a little too loud for my tastes. Without the headset the sound is just okay through the one speaker. I thought this had stereo speakers because of the dual pattern of speaker holes, but the left side is just for looks.

Organizer Menu.

This watch includes all sorts of fun diversions such as:

1. Compass 2. Calendar 3. To Do 4. Alarm 5. Bluetooth 6. Calculator 7. Ebook Reader 8. Number Area Function (caller ID)

The compass is very cool. The Alarm function is nice, offering 5 separate alarms, but not the ability to set it to your own mp3 songs or tones. You must choose from what they offer which is 5 midi tones. Interesting, because there is a ringtone in this phone of a rooster crowing which I wanted to use as my alarm clock tone but can't. The calculator works as a standard calculator and was one of the reasons I bought this watch. You can use the external buttons for entering numbers but you must use the touchscreen for math functions. The included stylus in the watch band works fine for this. I have not yet tested the Ebook Reader so I can't comment on it yet.

Multimedia Menu

As stated earlier, the MP3 function is VERY nice and one of the reasons I love this watch. The camera works but is not a high end function, more of a toy in my opinion. Same with the video recorder. I have not yet tested the FM radio or Sound Recorder.

There are many features for the phone that will take time for me to learn. I tried writing a text message to test the SMS feature but found it very confusing. I'll update this review later if I can get a good handle on it.

The manual. It is good and bad. It included a good tip on how to play music in the audio player by saying to create a folder called My Music. I did this on my micro SD card and it recognized it no problem. Speaking of the micro SD, the description for this watch keeps referring to a T Flash. It is the same thing as Micro SD. The description also says a maximum 2 gb card. I have an 8 gb card in my watch and it is working flawlessly. I love the battery life. I charged the watch and went 5 days before needing to charge it again. There are 2 batteries that come with this watch. Very nice addition! The number buttons are lit up when using them and are very easy to see at night. The touchscreen is very responsive most of the time. When using the audio player you must sometimes use the stylus. I like the rubber watch band. This watch feels very light on my arm and extremely comfortable.

Things I don't like:

Video. I have tried everything I can think of but it simply does not work. Well, it doesn't play video but the audio works. I get a screen that looks very snowy while the audio comes through fine. I have tried several MP4 video files and they all show the same way. When in play mode, the onscreen menu at the bottom is totally useless...no fast forward, none of the functions work.

Accessing the menus. I discovered this through trial and error since I don't recall seeing this in the manual. You must push the red button first, then wait for the unlock screen message to appear, then hold down the green button until you get a message saying it is unlocked. It should be simpler to access the functions. Once this is done, you must press the OK on the touchscreen to access the menu functions. The manual should have been clearer on this. You should experiment with the asterisk, 0 button, and pound symbol because they do different things on different menus. Again, the manual could be clearer on this. In the manual it references pushing the asterisk key in order to go into Meeting mode. It doesn't work. In the time/date function it offers 12 or 24 hour mode. I wanted 12 hour mode but it is impossible to set this. It is permanently on 24 hour mode. I'm a little worried about where I would find a replacement band if this one should break. There is no manufacturer name anywhere on the box or in the manual. So, no tech support. No website. Nothing.

I'll have more to say as time marches on. I give this a solid 4, mostly for the very rich MP3 function and lots of extra goodies. Too bad the video doesn't work.

My wife and I were on a flight from Ireland to the US. The person next to my wife had a watch on his arm. My wife made a comment that she liked the looks of his watch. The gentelman replyed that this was his cell phone/ watch. When we got back home, my wife asked me to order the phone/watch for her from Amazon. The watch is quite unique its a full functioning cell phone, watch, alarm clock, compass, fm radio, with bluetooth and camera. My wife liked it mainly because she didn't have to look around in her perse when the cell phone rang, its always right there on her wrist to answer. The phone/watch has a place for 2 sim cards and it also has a touch screen for full phone functions. All of this in a very small package. I don't know how they can put all this in such a small package but I guess this is what the cell phone is coming too.

I have to admit I like all kinds of gagets! But this watch is the greatest! I travel all over Europe and the Middle East and always have someone asking me about the watch when they hear it ringing or hearing me talking to my watch and realize it's a cell phone.

My last travel I was on Emirate Airlines and my watch was ringing, when the flight attendent from Bulgaria asked to please turn off my cell phone. I took my watch off and turn off my phone. She was very impressed and talk to me every chance she got. Well, when we arrived in Germany she asked me for my number. Since I was in Germany, Anyway long story short.... Germany was great!!! It nice to have James Bond gagets! You never know who you meet and finds you interesting. GOOD Luck!!

When I ordered my player I just wanted video and audio. Never thought about the blue-tooth option! Now my car stereo is hooked up to my phone and i can play music straight off my iPhone or iPod! Handles movies beautifully so moved my collection of dvds to the car for enjoyment when on longish trips. the remote is a bit complicated for driving, but then, don't use a remote when you are driving! lots of extras with this unit. I like the blue tooth phone interface. The microphone is a bit weak for the bluetooth to phone, so folks say it sounds a bit muffled.

The music souds good, and the mechanisms for the screen slide in and out real smoothly. Another extra is the fact that you can tilt the screen forward to adjust for glare.

It met my expectations and was delivered on time. The Bluetooth doesn't wok as effectively as you might think, because you can't really hear the person but I don't use it so it makes no difference. If you're looking for a good radio with a strapped budget, I would DEFINITELY recommend this.

Basketball Projection Clock

Basketball Projection ClockI was excited about receiving this item because I thought it looked really nice on the website. I was disappointed when I got it though because it is very small, light, and appears cheap. I would not recommend this product.

This clock is, as someone else noted, small and cheap. The projection feature did not display full digits on the ceiling, so the time could not be read. The setting procedure did not always work as described in the directions. At $14.99 it's not worth it to me to pay postage to return it, but after less than a week of ownership, I'm tossing it in the trash. The idea is cool; the execution of the idea is a failure. Don't waste your money.

The clock is nice in the fact that it displys the time on the ceiling for easy viewing at night, but the alarm is hard to figure out and turning it off the way the instruction manual indicates doesn't always work.

I like this product but I will say that its hard to set. Its kind of frustration because of the different options such as alarm, time, etc its only 2 ways to set those components. You have to have the directions in hand before this clock will do anything. Other than that, its a cool item to have, my son likes the clock we just need it to show us the right time.

My 10 year old daughter who is a big basketball fan saw an ad for this clock and wanted to borrow the money to buy it. Well we lost the ad and she was very disappointed. I found it here on Amazon and she was so thrilled when she got it for Christmas. She can now lay in bed and look at the ceiling to check the time.

I have this product now for 4 weeks. Changed it out in my Silverado Truck for the Original Radio. This Radio rocks. The Features are incredible. The sounds is owesome with the original speakers. My wife even has to to turn down the radio because she can hear the sounds (Frequencies) a lot better than with the original radio. She uses the USB Stick a lot. Easy, small and lots of MP3 music on it. The faceplate is removal and behind the faceplate some one even could use a SD Card, if needed. It plays MP3 from CD and even plays CD-RW. Some of the feature I haven't even used yet. The installation was incredible easy. One little advise for Silverado Truck Owners. Go on the Internet and order a Cable Assembly so you won't loose the Alert signal. I paid $10.00 for this. Well worth it. This radio rocks. Very well done Boss. However, there is one little thing, while no problem for my wife and me, maybe anoying for some others. It might take a second or two longer than normal for the music to start playing from CD or USB stick. However for that price and features I'll take that anytime, no problem for us. There's nothing out there that comes even close to the Boss 822UA price vs. features. I am glad I purchased this one.

Thank you Amazon, I received this unit in a couple of days.

Good radio but not standard size. Width and height are OK but

Depth is over-sized!

Standard DIN depth is 6.25 inches, this unit is over 7.

If you have a limited install depth (as in a dash) be sure

to measure first. To be even safer measure the depth of the

radio you are replacing.

If this unit is deeper then the one you are replacing there

is a good chance this will not fit.

Also watch the thickness if the plastic used for the install

kits. The Scosche stuff is really thin and susceptible to

breaking. AI (American International) seems to make the best.

Good Luck!

All in all very pleased with this radio, very easy to instal using the installation kit and the correct wiring harness. The sound is great, it makes the stock speakers sound like they are a really good aftermarket brand. The only negative is it takes the cd longer to load up then I would have anticipated.

First of these I received from Amazon Warehouse, but all under normal warranty, etc. After paying $60 to install it (and the set of 4 Pioneer speakers in my 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe), I was amazed how it sounds. This radio packs a great deal of features and very decent sound quality into the double-bin box. However, it is made in China, likely without much of a quality control system and it does show it, too... It soon started to trap CD disks and it took sometimes several attempts (button pressing) for it to return them (with a loud noise), then once it simply held one CD forever, even stop reacting to EJECT button.

OK it is under warranty, I thought, isn't it? Well, yes, but no one tells you you've got to shell out about 35% of the original price for it to be repaired or exchanged. BOSS Audio folks made me pay for my own shipping to California ($10) and demanded $20 to ship it back, thus this was extra $30 paid within warranty anyway.

They apparently gave up with repairing it (cheap stuff) and sent me a new one (along with the CD, retrieved safely from the other one, + for them). I hooked it up myself and now it sounds beautifully. Until it breaks...? Well, I hope not, but the CD does not eject right away it takes about three button pressings to get it out. Scary, but so far so good. If it does break, I am not sure I'm going to give BOSS another chance for yet an other 30 bucks...

I enjoy this equippment, though, as it sounds very nicely and has good features (plays mp3 disks, has aux input, USB input beware it accepts maximum 1 GB drives and you may break it if you stick a larger one into it) and decent power (80W). Radio performs well (signal-wise) and sounds great.

If you're lucky then you can have this working for a long time and under $100, but if luck plays the game with you, do not count on the service quality you'd expect from Pioneeer or Sony.

UPDATE at the end of May 2012:

After few months of the new one (replaced) normal use, the unit would not accept CD anymore it would not even take them in, but it automatically ejects them even if partially inserted. Despite good sound quality, therefore, I am decreasing the ratings to 2 stars because of a terrible (Chinese) build quality.

This stereo went into my 2002 Ford Explorer. I replaced the factory stereo. For the money this was a pretty good deal. The stereo works well with my stock speakers. Installation was relatively straightforward. The issues I had were more with Ford than Boss. My best advice is get a wideblade like a 3" putty knife or a vent removal tool, and other tools as you may require to remove covers, and TAKE YOUR TIME. Back to the BOSS: You will need a wiring harness unless you want to do it the hard way. You will need a double din cover, possibly, the one included was not appropriate for the Ford--had to go to the big box store so I could finish the installation same day. That was an additional $24. The display screen is bright, and I mean bright blue. You cannot adjust the brightness. It turns off when the stereo is off and there is no backlight for the clock when the stereo is turned off which seems a little odd to me. The equalizer is very basic but considering the price it is a good deal for an aging vehicle you may not keep for too long.

Coby CRA77 Big Green LED Digital AM/FM Dual Alarm Clock Radio

Coby CRA77 Big Green LED Digital AM/FM Dual Alarm Clock Radio
  • Contemporary sleek design
  • Dual alarm function
  • Sensitive AM/FM tuner
  • Digital clock with big green LED display
  • Wake to music or alarm

For less than $10, you can't really go wrong with this clock radio. It is your basic cheap clock radio -digital display, crummy tuner and speaker, alarm with buzzer or radio. Has AM/FM tuner. Snooze and Sleep buttons (odd that these functions actually do different things, hmm?.) Nice round shape suggests the old, wind-up alarm clocks of yesteryear.

This Coby model features an extra-large green display useful for near-sighted persons (like myself) who need to see the time, in the dark, without fumbling for glasses. The product, is slightly marred, however, by rather unusual labeling of radio bands and controls. Must be for international markets? Also, somewhat counter-intuitive button placement.

PROS

Cheap

Great big display

CONS

Weird international labels frighten Americans

Odd button placement.

All things considered, if you need a cheap clock radio, you won't regret this choice.

Update: After about 6 months, the alarm features of this clock stopped working. It's now a nice time keeping device with big green numerals, but I have to use my cell phone as an alarm clock.

Now downgraded to 2 stars.

Oh well.

Granted, I just got it recently, but it's nicer than I expected. Time is accurate, the alarm is loud enough to wake you but a pleasant tone (not grating), my radio reception is perfect, the digits are quite big but not too bright. And it's cute, to boot.

For only $10.99, this is the alarm clock to buy!

This item arrived in a timely and efficient manner. The large display is just what I needed on by bedside table.

Yes, you read that right. It's been 10 years since I bought this alarm clock and although I've bought a couple of others I still go back to this one.

I have the option of a radio or regular beeping alarm dual-alarm with this clock which is very useful. The green LED is also great even when my alarm clock is all the way on the other side of my bedroom. If you need a basic but very durable alarm clock then this is what you're looking for. I've included other great alarm clocks I've used (and that my family has or is currently using) over the years.

Motorola KRZR K1 Unlocked Phone with 2 MP Camera, MP3/Video Player, and MicroSD Slot--International

Motorola KRZR K1 Unlocked Phone with 2 MP Camera, MP3/Video Player, and MicroSD Slot--International Version with No WarrantyI just upgraded from a RAZR phone, and this new KRAZR is exceptionally nice. The phone has great reception, the sound quality & volumn are very good, the menus are very easy to get around,it fits your face well (not too short as many phones now are) and operating the phone is simple. This phone is clearly evident of Motorola's evolution in the cell-phone industry. By the way, you can customize the "soft-keys" to be whatever you want them to be. Likewise, you can customize the menus to appear as you would like. They have really thought of the user and have made this phone very User Friendly as well. It seems that the majority of the people I talk to aren't as interested in "whistles & bells" as much as they just want a plain old GOOD phone. This is it! However, if you want more, you can load your MP3 music on to it, you can use the calendar, you can take a picture, and if you are really adventurous, you can access the internet, and also retreive your email! By the way, this phone is capable of taking advantage of the Cingular/AT&T EDGE network which gives you 'faster than usual' internet. I highly recommend this Good Looking, Well Working phone.

Pros:

Exclusivity. Nobody has this phone/color combo.

Killer looks. The glass front is mind-blowing. Photo doesn't do it justice.

Killer size. Left to right it's thinner than the RAZR but slightly longer and slightly thicker front to back.

Sturdy. This is where it shines. When you close it, it feels like a luxury car door. Very solid; lightyears ahead of the RAZR.

Sound quality is top-notch. Excellent reception.

Camera is actually very, very good. I was very, very surprised.

Works with all my old RAZR accessories.

Cons: (barely justifiable to even call them that)

A couple of the included games/java apps were in Chinese.

The phone language. "Centre" instead of "Center", Personalise instead of "Personalize" Not really a big deal. Must be a UK English vs. a US English thing.

Buy Motorola KRZR K1 Unlocked Phone with 2 MP Camera, MP3/Video Player, and MicroSD Slot--International Now

I hung on to my old v60i in the hope that Motorola would fix their user interface, this one is substantially different, but the bad features of the v60i remain. The side buttons.

As of 5/22/08 I'm about ready to hurl this from the roof. The UI is just too inconvenient. I've also had to replace the battery once.

6/13/08 Enough already! I replaced it with a Nokia E51. On the E51 the side buttons are not too sensitive, they require deliberate use, and all buttons are automatically locked after a timeout period anyway. The E51 is nearly twice the price now but 10 times the phone (GSM quad band, WCDMA dual band, 802.11g an FM radio and god knows what else that I haven't found yet). I have temporarily given the KRZR to my significant other, but I'll be replacing that and the daughter's phones with Nokia phones when we change the plan to use the E51's data capabilities; why would I inflict on her what I wasn't happy with myself?

Let's do the good first: The voice quality in both directions is good, the talk time is good and the standby time is good enough that I am surprised when it needs recharging. I use it quite a lot and that still only seems to be twice a week. The ring tones are the usual selection but the maximum volume is considerably higher than in my old phone. Signal handling is much better, it holds on to calls that AT&T could previously be relied on to drop, but there are still issues where it fails to roam to the next cell, though I strongly suspect that is due to lame network software rather than the phone (symptoms are that after a dropped call with no signal the signal strength immediately maxes out). For someone who travels to Europe the quad band GSM is indispensable, I keep a spare SIM for UK visits because it gives me calls to the US for about 1/10th of the cost of allowing AT&T to roam to Europe. The music player is fine, but you are going to have to either buy bluetooth headphones, which you can't use on a plane, or buy the USB adapter which should have been included for the trivial cost in such an expensive phone. It makes an excellent alarm clock and is loud as hell.

The not so good: The iTap text entry is slow and not as good as the old version, whatever that was called. I guess I'll eventually get used to iTap, but the old predictive text had some advantages.

The Ugly: the joker who came up with these side buttons that can't be disabled should be fired. It's the easiest thing in the world to brush against the phone and fire up the crummy voice entry (below) or, with a bit more of a rubbing motion, switch the ringer from one more to another. So you can silence the phone and drop it in your pocket only to find it ringing in the middle of a movie. Or you eventually notice nobody is talking to you and check the phone only to find you have a couple of missed calls and the phone has been set to silent. Somehow. Then there's the voice entry, the best you could say is that it's not good. If you brush against the voice button it thinks about it for a good while and then some awful woman say "say a command". Now you have to try and convince it to call someone based on the phone's attempt at pronouncing the name you used in the phone book. Since I work with a load of Indians and Chinese that's about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. It was much more useful to be able to program the nicknames.

But would I buy it again? Yes. There aren't many neat phones like this and if there's another one with quad band GSM too I didn't find it.

But if someone comes out with a quad band GSM phone with good signal handling and no side buttons you'll see my KRZR on Ebay the next day.

This is a great phone. What impressed me most about it was several things. One was its sleek design and feel. If you liked the RAZR, this phone will really knock your socks off. It's not quite as wide as the RAZR, which makes it easier on the hands, and it's solid construction makes you feel like you're holding a quality product. I love how it snaps shut after you finish a call. It's satisfying. Two, it has better reception than the RAZR, or at least it seems that way to me. I don't have any data to support this claim, but I have fewer dropped calls on this phone, and the volume is much better. I don't find myself pressing the phone against my ear like I used to do with the RAZR, which is really nice. Three, I dig the MP3 and multimedia features. I popped a 2GB card in the phone and loaded about 50 of my favorite songs and about 75 family photos in it. It's great because now I can set the phone alarm to wake up to my favorite songs, or set ring tones to whatever tune I have loaded on it. Also, I setup a playlist and listed to it while jogging the other day. I was most impressed. I also created a family album on the phone and showed it to friends in a slideshow format. It was funny. Rather than complimenting me on my beautiful family, they focused their comments on the photo quality of my phone. I was like, dude. Anyway, if you like cool phones, I totally recommend this one. Yeah it's pricey, but from my perspective, it's worth it. One last comment. I'm a Cingular customer and they, if you haven't noticed, haven't offered the KRZR K1 phone to their customers yet. Well, that's okay. You can still use this phone on thier network. All you have to do is take the phone out of the box, pop in your old SIM card from your previous phone, then call Cingular and ask them to activate it. They will ask you for the IMEI number located on the box and within minutes, you will be connected. It was a snap. Enjoy!

This particular unlocked version seems thinner than the ones being sold by cell phone carriers. My initial impression was this phone was very tiny. It is smaller than the RAZR V3 in overall dimensions. I use this unlocked phone with Cingular in the Los Angeles area.

The good:

1)Small and cool looking. Most people who have seen it seems to be enamored with its design and form factor. It is definitely an eye catcher.

2)Call quality is great. The volume can be turned on VERY loud. So if you are hard of hearing or just like to hear loud voices over the phone, then this phone will probably fit the bill.

3)Speaker phone. Motorola managed to incorporate a great pair of speaker phones. It is loud and clear enough to have a conference call in a small room full of people.

4)Comes with more than basic ring tones. It comes with several (around 12) musical ring tones. Better yet, the ring tones comes out in a full stereo mode (or at least sounds like it).

5)Camera is good (2MP). Although it will not replace your digicam, it will be more than adequate for emergency uses.

6)Battery life. My informal test on this is that it can handle upto 4-5 hours of talk time.

The Bad (mostly due to it is unlocked):

1)You need to configure EVERYTHING on the phone. Nothing comes preconfigured. This includes the default language, time, date, voicemail, email, IM etc. This can get rather tedious since Cingular does not support unlocked phones.

2)You may lose some functionalities. For example, I have noticed my web browser functionalities do not work with my cingular SIM card. This is no biggie for me since I never browse the web using my phone

CD skips on multiple CD's, I'm very disappointed, I installed this as a surprise for my wife. The Skipping is unpredictable and has occurred on all CD's from various sources. The FM reception is poor and does not have the option of connecting an external antenna. These can be found at Sony outlet centers and now I know why.

update: I have not returned it yet, I bought my wife a ipod and it works fine, no skipping. I would stay away from this unless you are using with mp3 player or radio with strong a signal.

This actually is our second unit & we wanted this one in our stationary camper as the previous owner removed the unit that came with it. We liked the under counter unit that we had at home in the kitchen so well that we simply ordered another for camp. It's up & out of the way and we put it above the table so we had easy access to it at the times when we will be more likely to listen to it. They are easy to install and a very good quality. And of course we chose Amazon to order it from because we didn't need to drive to town, use fuel, find a place to park ect. Just one click and it was here in a couple days.

I am very happy with this stereo system, so small, yet the sound is great, takes up very little space under the cabinet, a very important detail if you have a small kitchen. It even has a cooking timer ! I also love the iPod-playing function, although you have to turn up the volume a bit more. I am happy I bought it.

The device works fine. The problem came in mounting it under the kitchen cabinet, as the screws were not long enough to reach. Consequently it looks weird because it sits cockeyed at an angle. Need to have longer screws for mounting.

Won't play many of my discs. Not sure what the issue is, but it is very frustrating. I do like the MP3 option.
