Phone Lynx worked fine for about 1 month. Then started to slowly deteriorate...wouldn't pass thru calls, calls began to get dropped, then it would drop the BT connection and/or wouldn't reconnect when mobile phone was in range (2 feet). Had to resort to unplugging the Phone Lynx, unpairing, plugging it back in and then pairing again. This got old but it only lasted about a week. Then the Phone Lynx stopped sending out a BT signal altogether.

It is now a paperweight and not even a good one at that.

To top if off, Beach Audio won't take it back and Cobra says they will only send me a replacement. Reading other reviews on this product, I should have known better. This thing lasts about 2 months and, of course, that's about the cutoff for Beach Audio's return policy. Gee, think they know something?

It's not if the Phone Lynx will fail, it's simply when. For me, it was 2 1/2 months.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Going to try out the OBi202 with OBiWifi and OBiBT. At least the reviews are better.

I bought this item thinking I could get rid of our land line service. Luckily I didn't cancell until I gave the Cobra a fair trial. It did not perform well. It wanted to drop calls, also it was delayed so much that people would hang up before we could answer. When answering, we would have to say hello multiple times. Simply didn't work well. Return was easy with Amazon.

I have now ordered Uniden Bluetooth phones that can be used with both cell and landline calls which could not be done with the Cobra PhoneLynx.

Would give no stars if possible, didn't work at all. May try another type good concept. Needs to support more phones.
