I didn't purchase this system through amazon but I thought I'd leave a comment so people knew what they were looking at. First I would like to describe these speakers. If your looking for Bass in your stereo system then DON"T get theseFAQs:
How loud does it get?
They max volume at 30, but its not that loud. Barely fills my bedroom with sound at max. My TV gets louder.
Does it charge and play any IPod or Iphone?
This is a plus because it DOES play ANY!!!! Ipod or Iphone and charges them. There is also an Aux cable port to play your laptop through the headphone jack if you want.
Is it big?
Compared to other self stereo systems it isn't big. However I have computer speakers that are 5x smaller, that also get louder than these. So in my opinion the size is to big for the lack of volume.
How are its functions?
CD works great no problems, the remote is also great, and all the modes work like they say.
How is the Bass?
For me this was the most important question. So the answer is, the Bass is non-existence!! This causes the sound quality to drop.
So in my opinion just get a smaller system that also charges your Ipod cause this one isn't worth the size and money.

Here is the lowdown:PROS:
1. It worked right out of the box with little set-up and the sound is decent, but not great.
2. The ipod dock worked fine. It has attachments for the variety of different docking needs.
3. I was able to buy it a half mile from my house at Meijer. Convenient.
CONS:
1. Speakers are connected and wires are extremely thin. The whole system is cheaply/lightly built. You can feel it isn't going to last too long before problems arise.
2. Speaker wires are pretty short. I couldn't stretch it to the place the last system's speakers were.
THE VERDICT:
The "system" is okay for the spot it is going in (my garage), but I would never recommend it as your go-to system. Go Sony or check out what Best Buy has to offer.
My old radio used to cut out occasionally, the stations didn't come in well and it was also cheaply made, but since I found it in an empty apartment, I couldn't complain. Hopefully, this lasts for a few years.I just got my system today, i couldn't wait for it to arrive! I gotta say this system is loud! this system is good for bed rooms! the bass is good not that great! its worth the buy tho for $75. Love it! i recommend you to buy this product its really worth it!they have these at big lots right now marked down from 79 dollars to only 59 dollars! saw them there last night at transit road williamsville/clearance location. There was about 8 of them on the shelf
