I am buying another one of these to replace one I owned but gave away as a gift. It sounds great with an ipod. I did have some issues with charging but the bass is bumping. I give it 5 stars on sound and 4 on everything else.

This is the saddest excuse of a product that I have ever had the misfortune to purchase, when it first arrived I was thrilled with it's performance and gave it a very sparkling review, now I am editing that review to reflect my disatisfaction because after about 4 hours of usage it bloody well up an died, nothing works at all....it turns on but then just sits there looking stupid, no radio functions, no iPod functions and cannot set the clock, the function buttons do not work, the remote turns it on and off but thats about it, do not buy this piece of trash, better to give your $$$ to the ASPCA.

My mother bought this from Amazon for my son as a Christmas gift and while it sounded good, the remote didn't work. I tested the battery with a digital multi-meter and it read OK, so we had her send it back for an exchange, which was very fast. Just opened the 2nd one and this one also had a remote that wouldn't work. After reading one of the reviews, I went and bought a new battery and wouldn't you know, it works! Why bother putting a junk battery in there at all? I would also like to echo some of the complaints about the writing on the buttons of the remote. They should have used a brighter paint to silk screen the words, because they are very hard to read and tend to glare over very easily. My 8 year-old son loves it though and is at this moment is jamming to Kashmir by Led Zeppelin.

I purchased this item on June 30, 2011. It quit working by December 8th. I can't seem to figure out why it won't come up blue light but no function then it shuts off. All attempts to research the problem have failed I am left with the option of sending it to a "customer service corp." with a $50 check. $50 on a $75 5 month old item, not making good financial sense. Unfortunately I have seen other reviews that do not give a good review to the repair group. Frustration level very high!
