This item worked real well and then all of a sudden the buttons would not work. I could not change the time, set the alarm, or even turn on the CD player or radio. The alarm still worked, but I had to set it to get up at the time previously set because it would not change. It was not just one button it was all of them. Nothing worked. It was like they had a timer and shut down all of a sudden. It happened only a week after the 90 day warrranty period was over.

Well, I just bought this today as a CD clock radio for a new nursery. I tested it out and it worked as advertised (it even played a CD-R I had recorded). Directions were clear and the functionality seems pretty good. You can program up to 20 tracks and even set the alarm to play this program.

I'm guessing that the quality is pretty poor from some reviews I've read. So, I hope I get lucky and this thing lasts for a few years.
