Bought this item on sale and was very excited to get a bargain and have something more stylish. Speaker sounded fine, but the clock setting did not work out of the box and the FM radio would not pick up a local station less than 5 miles away. Returned it the next day.

Probably the worst radio I've ever owned. I wanted a new radio with that Retro look, and thought this was it. I also wanted a radio that could link up to my i-pod. This radio must have the worst tuner I've ever used. Its extremely sensitive. You barely touch the dial and it jumps off the station. There are times it will not tune at all. When I run it on i-pod mode it will only work 50% of the time, if I'm lucky. I sent it to Crosley for repair or replacement and when I received my replacement three weeks later it would not work at all. I went to plug the power supply into the back of the radio and the mating jack was missing. When you give the radio a little shake you can hear something flopping around inside. I assume its the circuit board where the plug is attached. When I called Crosley back up and explained that the unit they sent me was defective and most likely was damaged in shipping, they said they couldn't find me in their system. Therefore they would not not give me another return authorization.

Stay away from this radio. Its a piece of junk for China. I have 20 year old $15 battery operated radio from General Electric that works much better. I just reenlisted it into service.

We bought this primarily to listen to internet radio as reception is so bad in our remote area. The iDuet only worked with the iPod portion of our iPhone which essentially defeated the purpose for us. The sound quality however was good, so I imagine if you're just docking your iPod and listening to your own music selection this would be fine.

But not for us, we're returning it.

Extremely disappointed. Does not work with the iPhone. The tuning is incredibly poor, unable to keep a station for mare than 5 minutes....I have antiques that do better! Even the clock is ineffecienlty designed and hard to adjust.

I would highly recommend staying away from this and finding something a quarter of the price.
