My daughter loves these speakers. They are compact and the sound is quite good. I gave these a 4 rather than a 5 because the adapter for the Nano does not hold the Ipod as securely as on other speaker systems I've seen. I'm concerned that unless my daughter is particularly careful when putting the Ipod on or removing it from the dock, the connector could bend or break. Otherwise, this is a great little system.

I bought these speakers for my daughter who is 4 and she loves them. The sound quality isn't that great as you turn the volume up but it's easy to use and does what you need it to.

It says that it supports the ipod Nano (5th gen) but my neice who has the same speaker said that it doesn't charge it although it does play it just fine.

My daughter has an iTouch 2nd gen and altho the specs didn't state that it would work with the speakers, it totally does. It fits into it just fine when I take out the white plastic casing holder (they're removeable). The only thing it doesn't do is charge the ipod while playing music...probably b/c it's not a supported player.

I bought this HK dock/speakers at Target for almost ONE HALF of what amazon is offering here at.

I agree, the higher the volume the more distorted the sound becomes. But considering that is true for all speakers, it can be overlooked. The option to use this device as a docking station or just a speaker set is really great.

Initially, I bought this as a way for me to listen to my ipod at work. But I have since brought it home and it occupies a place on my night stand. For the sheer amount of output from the speakers, it's not a bad little system at all.

If you're expecting high-tech sound from this, you are going to be disappointed. My only other reservation is the price I see it listed here as. I would suggest you look elsewhere.
