This is nice and light weight. It has good sound but could be a little louder. Its great for a hotel room but not great for outside. Works with both my iPod and iPhone for charging and playing which is a plus but alarm is a little difficult to program. Overall, I love it and it was exactly what I was looking for.

This product works as advertised. It is light-weight, portable, and perfectly functional as a ipod dock (I don't have an iphone to test it with...sigh) and an alarm clock. One word of caution and one complaint, however: The sound quality is on-par with or perhaps slightly better than the average clock radio. This is most definitely not my Bose dock or Sony stereo, so if you are a real audiophile do not expect to be wowed. It will suffice for most users, however. My only complaint is that the backlighting on the LCD clock display is a bit bright and there are only two additional settings between the default "maximum, too bright to sleep" mode and "off"...neither of these are great, although the setting before "off" is tolerable. An LED display would have been better. Overall, however, I'm happy with this product.

One daughter had the iHome portable clock/speakers for her ipod and takes it everywhere. When the occasion came up to buy a gift for the other daughter, she put in her bid for one too. I was unable to find any in the stores but was delighted to find several to choose from on Amazon.com The one plus was I had to purchase a remote separately for the first one but was able to find several on Amazon that included the remote worth about $12. We have all been very happy with the product and the service at Amazon.

I bought this product used from Amazon Marketplace for my daughter. It is very easy to use. The alarm functions are nice. Mine did not come with a manual but I figured it out within minutes and I found the manual online at iHome's website just to double check my usage and make sure I wasn't overlooking any cool features. The sound is very good. The alarm is a little weak when not using the ipod it sounds like an alarm you might find on a watch but it is advertised as a travel alarm so that sound is typical. My daughter will typically use the ipod as the alarm anyway.

I purchased this ipod/dock/clock radio for my Grandson's 9th birthday. He loves it,it's easy to use & he says he loves the sound. All & all I am very happy with the product & the prompt delivery.
