This radio works great for what I bought it for which was to charge my iphone while working to some tunes. For charging, it works great. If you like cranking it up, this isnt the radio for you. I dont usually listen to my music too loud on my jobsites, so this isnt a big problem for me, but it is worth mentioning. a large 18volt battery lasts about a day which for me is fine to keep my phone charged all day. I'm taking the star simply due to the lackluster speakers.

We purchased the radio to use on the boat fishing, it's heavy enough to sit with no concern of it tipping. We have yet tp purchase an i-pod to use with it, but the option will certainly be appreciated.
