Changing Light Alarm Clock with Nature Sound-7 Colour

Changing Light Alarm Clock with Nature Sound-7 ColourI think it is super cute!! I love the sounds, the different colors that light up, the temperature feature and its unique look and size. Also, the alarm features works very well. All in all I really like it and would recommend it for anyone who is looking for something that doesnt take up too much space and is convenient .

Got this at Toys R Us to have as a bedside clock. There is a short loud beep to enable the back-light on the display.

Has other nice features such as temperature and timer but will have to return this due to the beep.

Would suggest Timex disabling the beep and using the top touch button for the night light.

IT WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED AND I THOUGHT IT WAS A LITTLE ON THE CHEAP LOOKING SIDE. I HAD TO HAVE MY HUSBAND SET IT CAUSE THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT USER FRIENDLY. THE ONLY TIME YOU CAN READ THE TIME IS WHEN IT IS GOING OFF AND THE LIGHTS ARE FLASHING, THEN IT GOES DARK AGAIN. I KEEP IT ON MY BED STAND BUT I ALSO KEEP MY OLD ALARM THERE SO I CAN SEE THE TIME.

Motorola XPRT Android Phone (Sprint)

Motorola XPRT Android PhoneI'm really pleased with this phone. I bought it because I'm going to Paris in the Fall and wanted to be able to use it there. I especially like the combination of the qwerty keyboard and touchscreen. It seems to be better built than my BlackBerry. I had to have my Curve replaced and then worked on again. So far, no problems with the XPRT.

I got this phone for my wife for the simple fact that my wife & I was tired of the radio and antenna issues with HTC phones and Samsung phones. The Nexus S 4g(which me and the wife had) was the last straw and I knew I needed to go to a tried and true manufacturer and one that is a master of a trade and not just a jack of a bunch of ones. Motorola may not have the so called flashy and smooth UI (even though I can't tell the difference who focuses so much on a UI)of HTC and Samsung. Motorola knows how to make a fucntional phone that gets good reception whether it be wi-fi,1G,2G,3G, or 4G. Forget the additional features a phone has to be able to make a call and keep a signal, without that it is a shiny useless paper weight. My wife is going to stay with Motorola since she needs a functional phone and not some shiny UI with features that don't work because her phone can't keep a signal.

Pros:

Reception with radios and antenna's is King

UI Plain and just does what is needed

speaker phone and mic makes crystal clear calls

Notification light

Battery life for is good

Cons:

Camera's very average

To her the UI is not a con as if you want a touch wiz and sense UI feel stick to samsung and HTC. If you want a phone that just works with good features and keeps a good signal this is a great one for you the MOTOROLA XPRT.

I am now on my 3rd XPRT phone. 1 had a bad speaker and 2 are overheating for no reason. Battery app has shown 115 degrees..now that's hot! No combination of app kills, battery pulls, restarts, or trying different batteries helps. Once the XPRT starts to run hot, it doesn't stop. The overheat is a known issue for the "sister" Droid Pro from Verizon. Check the internet...lots out there regarding the Droid Pro but very little regarding the XPRT since it is so new. I really like the phone but there is clearly an issue here that needs to be addressed. Motorola, please get this fixed!

I have had this phone for about 2 weeks. I ordered it from Amazon Wireless. Let me say something about Amazon wireless first. This is an awesome service but note...they buy these phones from the manufacturer and if you have an issue with the phone you may have to deal with them and not the carrier directly.

Now as for the phone. It is very well built. The screen quality is quite acceptable. The qwerty keyboard works great, that is the main reason I got it. I had a Motorola Triumph phone through Virgin Mobile, which was an outstanding phone but I really missed the physical keyboard.

I have no issues whatsoever with this phone. It has not overheated or done any funky things. Now...guess what, I am returning it! Why?

Because I find it is too much of a Blackberry type phone for me. Now I have used Blackberry devices in the past, and they are great work phones, but as far as being multimedia devices which is what we want our phones to be nowadays they are not keeping up with the times. I was hoping this phone would bridge the gap between my Motorola Triumph and a Blackberry. Well not quite. My main issue is screen size and no 4G.

Here I digress a moment. On Sprint, and all other carriers as far as I know, the data plan for a 3G and 4G smartphone are the same cost. If so, why? This is not fair!. I argued this out with Sprint once I realized that I really wanted 4G. I just bought a phone which is 3G. Why is the data plan the same price if I can't use the extra speed? Well I got nowhere with them. Now my old Triumph was only 3G but all Virgin Mobile has is 3G, which is ironic since it is on Sprint's network and in fact is now owned by them. Anyway. I decided if I am going to pay $90.00 a month for a cell phone it had damned better be 4G especially since the price of the phone through Amazon Wireless is the same as, say, a Samsung Epic 4G (0.01!). Which has a bigger screen, a nicer screen, and still has a slide out (not my favorite but I can live with it)keyboard.

So...this is why the phone is going back. I found out that I could not just go to the Sprint store and swap the phone because I did not get it directly from Sprint. However Amazon Wireless was very nice about it.

So in summary. If you are looking for a road warrior business phone which is an Android phone and allows some multimedia functions, this phone is great. If you want a phone to read books, play games, watch YouTube and all that a lot...no 4G and a small less bright screen. Might want to reconsider.

Want Motorola XPRT Android Phone (Sprint) Discount?

I recently upgraded from a BB curve. This phone is great and way more functional than the curve. The downside is that the screen is smaller compared to other android devices. The screen gets washed out in bright sunlight, however I heard that is normal for android.

Memorex Digital Audio System with iPod Dock (Black)

Memorex Digital Audio System with iPod Dock
  • Bass Boost and Treble Function
  • Connecting Device for CD/MP3 Players
  • AC Power Adapter
  • iPod Dock, Wireless Remote

I won this dock as a door prize from a charity event, so since no money was invested in it, I am probably more forgiving than others who actually paid for it. I have had it for about a year now, and overall, I am satisfied with it.

Obviously the sound quality will not be phenomenal, but I'd say it sounds like an average CD player. The volume output is sufficient, and I have never had to max out the volume.

I had no compatibility issues. Every iPod I've tried has worked fine, as well as some iPhones, even though they were not listed under compatible devices. It gave me a warning message as soon as I plugged it in that it was not compatible but it worked flawlessly anyway.

The controls are terrible, however. Plugging in your iPod and hitting power, play, and pause are intuitive enough, but don't even bother trying to set the clock or navigating your albums. It's faster to just navigate directly from your iPod. The remote is awkward, unreliable, and tries your patience. It felt like a lego piece in my hand and I felt like it would be faster to throw it across the room and hope it hits the right button on the dock. If you're looking for something you can control remotely at a distance, this is not for you.

I like how portable it can be. I usually listen to music at my computer where my audio system is far better, but it's nice to carry the memorex dock around the house when I just want a little background music--say, in my kitchen while I work, or by my piano when I want to hear a song. I used to have an old CD player for this purpose, and it is very nice not to have to burn CDs anymore. It's small enough to fit into a tote bag and I can bring it into my classroom. It's cheap enough that I don't mind letting my middle school students use it freely, but durable enough to withstand whatever they do to it.

Another random plus is it will charge your iPod or iPhone while plugged in. My brother stayed over for a weekend and forgot his iPhone charger. I only have a BlackBerry, so I let him use the memorex dock. It was a little ghetto but it works in a pinch!

I remember seeing this item on sale for $25-30 at electronics stores and I would say that is a reasonable price for what you are getting. Full retail price might be a bit much. If your needs are similar to mine, then I happily recommend it despite the horrible controls. However if you need something with superior sound quality or better remote control, then keep shopping.

Plays ok, sound quality is ok as long as it's cranked up really loud. When volume is lower, every bit of noise that is on your electrical system will be picked up and output in this unit. Don't even try to use with the line in feature. Just frustrating. This runs between the 30-40 dollar range and there are plenty of really good ones for around 50. Spend a little more a get a good unit.

Good for the price. If you're looking for hi-fi quality this is not it. We have several different ipods in our family and this one charges and plays them all. And we really like the remote.

Want Memorex Digital Audio System with iPod Dock (Black) Discount?

I bought this from a brick and mortar retailer while traveling as I needed inexpensive speakers. That's just what I got. I've been spoiled by the greatly improved quality of small speakers. Unfortunately this unit doesn't benefit from that. Sound quality is about the same as a standard table radio or alarm clock. It also amplifies the transient noises a classic iPod makes that you normally never hear.

This is quite possibly one of the worst electronic devices I have ever purchased. Luckily I did not invest a lot of money into it, but I'm not even sure I got my $30 worth.

I purchased this for my office to be able to listen to my iPod and Pandora at work. Almost from day one I noticed terrible feedback and it almost sounded as though there was some sort of interference with my computer or something like that; (it was kind of like the sound cell phones will make if you set them down too close to a computer). Sometimes it's worse than others, so I just dealt with the feedback. Then within a couple of weeks of having it the faceplate over the clock became unglued. Not a huge deal and I easily could've glued it back on, but just one of those things I didn't expect to have happen that soon. About six months into owning it is when it started to go completely haywire. The clock resets itself all the time, if you pause a song but leave the power on the song will just randomly start playing again even if you don't start it back up....and on the flipside, I'll be in the middle of playing a song and it will just stop for no reason at all, for any random amount of time it determines and then start back up again with no warning or indication of why it stopped in the first place.

I normally don't write reviews because I know different people have different expectations for how they want a product to perform, so who's to say that my issues with a device would necessarily be someone else's issues. But in this case I felt strongly enough that no one would be satisfied with this product if they all perform in a similar fashion.

UNLOCKED QUADBAND DUAL SIM FULL-QWERTY MP3 CAMERA VGA GSM CELLPHONE WHITE T5This is an awesome unlocked phone. We took it to Australia plugged in a local SIM card and away we went. The phone is also made well, works well, seems rugged. One caveat my daughter did not bring the original charger, since the plug matched her phone. Unfortunately, the phone did not actually accept the other charger, and it took some mix-and-match plugging to get it charged. So be sure to take the original charger with you when travelling.

Thee product itself is awesome. I got the dock, remote, charger, everything. The display is clear, and it comes with all the features it says. If you read the instructions, it's easy to program everything. The speakers them self are good. They satisfy my needs for a decent bass, treble, and good overall sound for a low price.

The only reason why this isn't a 5, is because of the delivery. While the product arrived at my house on time, the box sustained heavy damage, and I opened it to find part of the speaker dented in. While it still being able to play with great sound shows the good quality, the delivery itself was terrible. I mean, for it to have half of the speaker dented is completely unacceptable. But, I'm lazy and didn't send it back since the only damage was "beauty" damage.

Overall, as long as you don't get a bad delivery service, this product is awesome!

Philips Fidelio AS851/37 Android Speaker Dock with Bluetooth

Philips Fidelio AS851/37 Android Speaker Dock with Bluetooth
  • Bluetooth wireless music streaming from Android device
  • Smartly designed FlexiDock to fit and charge Android phone
  • Optimal acoustic volume to match speakers' requirements
  • Charge your second mobile device via USB
  • Songbird to discover, play, sync music between PC & Android

First of all, ignore any comments you may read about dependence on the Songbird app. Philips partnered with Songbird to encourage users to use their service, but you absolutely don't have to. I, like many Android fanboys, use Google Music and nothing else. You can even pair your phone with this dock and use GMusic without the Philips Fidelio app, but I prefer to use the Fidelio app for easier pairing, and it's actually a pretty nice app when you've got your phone physically docked. The station's remote has some nice features for example, you can make your phone show the time with a nice analog clock and weather at the push of a button, and still have full music control.

Most of the time, though, I just keep my phone in my pocket and play music through the dock over bluetooth, when I'm washing dishes, housecleaning, playing board games at the table, etc.

As far as sound quality goes, you get what you pay for, and $160 for a docking station is a pretty good price range for a good balance between sound quality and value. The AS851 has round, booming sound with enough bass that nothing ever sounds tinny, like you would expect from cheaper docks. Volume goes way up, and could easily fill a large room or even blast music on the patio or out to the pool.

Philips has done an excellent job of crafting a product line of great devices aimed straight at Android users. I hope these devices pay off for them, since we really needed devices like this, but I wonder if there's enough interest. Most Android users are casual or first-time smartphone owners, and probably don't even realize that their phone has the same functionality as any iOS device. Docking stations aren't just for iPhones anymore.

Buy Philips Fidelio AS851/37 Android Speaker Dock with Bluetooth Now

I ordered the AS851 and the AS111 docking system on November 19th and received them both on November 22, 2011. The hook up was so easy out the box. The sound of the AS851 is amazing, whether at low or high volume. The AS111 sound is also amazing to be four watts. I have a Nexus One phone and the fidelio app worked smoothly without any issues. Once I dock the phone, every feature automatically connects, bluetooth, the app and so forth. I am extremely pleased with this purchase with no issues or regrets. I would really recommend this system to anyone with an android phone. FYI, I did have to install a firmware update after the fidelio app was installed. After installation of the fidelio app, go to settings and config whether you want an auto or manuel updates for the firmware updates. In my opinion, Philips did an excellent job with their android Fidelio docking series...no complaints.

I was super excited to get this as I have a Samsung Captivate Android phone and a Kindle Fire. Out of the box setup was painless. Then I tried to attach my phone to the dock. Well, my phone's connectivity port is on the top of my phone, not the side. So there goes watching any video play horizontally (though yes, I could then simply hook the phone to play audio through the aux cord on the speaker, it would not rest cleanly on it's side on the dock thus defeating the purpose) I wish there was a way you could somehow rotate the little docking port so the that the connectivity point could turn up and to the side thus allowing phones like mine to sit horizontally, but that would probably mess with the nice, clean design this speaker has.

Connecting my phone vertically was a pain. The Samsung Captivate (to no fault of the Philips Dock) has a ever so slightly rounded top which means it does not sit flush with the docking connectivity port at all. It kept sliding off. No matter how much I messed with the little tightening knob on the port, it didn't help at all.

Is this detrimental? Not really, because you can of course still play audio through bluetooth without it having to be physically docked, or you can hook up the aux cord straight to the phone, but in the end, a big purpose of this dock is to, well, dock the phone. I downloaded the app, (which I really wish wasn't a requirement but I understand why since the devices need to be paired) The sound came through via Bluetooth just fine, and the speaker did give off a great sound. I tested the Kindle Fire with it (port is on top as well) and that played fine with the aux cable attached (you cannot download the app through the Amazon App store on the Kindle, just an FYI)

Only point of contention I have (and I'm not sure if this was just my unit): but when the aux cable is plugged in to a device, sound does not automatically come through the speaker. At first, I thought "Okay, there's a button I have to switch on the speaker somewhere to flip it into auxiliary mode. No biggie" I searched and searched. No aux mode button on the speaker. I consulted the manual (!) and it simply said to connect the device to the aux cable and sound should be pouring through the speaker. Not the case. So then I thought "Oh great, that aux port is broken somehow" Nope, none of the above. There is a small, non-descript button on the tiny remote control that you must press to activate aux mode. As far as I can tell, that is the only way to enter aux mode, (unless, again this is just a problem with my specific unit) so if you lose that cute tiny remote, you are S.O.L in the aux listening department.

The look of the dock is great, the sound is great, the execution is just a little too clunky for the phone that I own to make this dock as regularly used as I thought it would be. Other reviewers have seemed to get a lot of use out of this dock, so give it a shot, maybe it will be better for you than it was for me.

Want Philips Fidelio AS851/37 Android Speaker Dock with Bluetooth Discount?

If you're looking for a rich-sounding speaker system for your Android phone, the Fidelio certainly delivers. The sound quality over Bluetooth was very life-like and crisp. Right out of the box, I had absolutely no problems getting this system to work.

The remote control is a convenient addition, though I couldn't figure out exactly what some buttons do. The volume control and power buttons are the only ones I need. There's an option on the remote which interfaces with the Songbird app, however I did not download that, so I can't say how well that works.

My biggest complaint is the docking mechanism itself. While it is adjustable and has a swivel base, I had some difficulty getting my phone (a Motorola Triumph) to stay plugged into charging mode.

Overall, I am impressed with the sound quality. The Bluetooth functionality is great because you can get any BT-enabled phone, including an Iphone, to interface with the speakers. It will also accept a standard 3.5mm cable input for additional functionality.

Magnasonic MiC1000K Digital FM Alarm Clock Radio Speaker Dock for iPod/iPhone with Dual Alarm & Auto

Magnasonic MiC1000K Digital FM Alarm Clock Radio Speaker Dock for iPod/iPhone with Dual Alarm & Auto Time Sync
  • Compatibility: iPod nano 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G; iPod classic 4G, 5G, 5.5G, 6G; iPod touch 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G; iPhone, 3G, 3GS, 4
  • iPod/iPhone receives a charge when plugged into the dock; time is automatically set from your iPod or iPhone
  • Dual alarm clock feature allows two separate wake times--wake to iPod or radio
  • Built-in PLL digital FM tuner with 20 preset stations
  • Snooze and programmable sleep functions included

I didn't need to look at the instructions to get this going and set the alarm. It is very easy to use.

The iPod/iPhone sits pretty high up. The dock is not recessed, and the unit is very light weight, so I have placed it on a shelf that is somewhat protected from my knocking it to the floor if and when I fumble for it to shut it off. It really does not seem very sturdy, and I question how long it will last, but, so far, it's working great.

The sound is nice and clear, and the fm radio reception is excellent. Much better than the other clock radio I have in my room. The charging connector for the my iPhone fits nicely and works well. I gave it four of five stars, because it works well, but feels kind of cheap, even at this price level.

Buy Magnasonic MiC1000K Digital FM Alarm Clock Radio Speaker Dock for iPod/iPhone with Dual Alarm & Auto Now

The price is great, and there are some good features here. First, the dock has a small footprint, useful in a clock radio. The sound quality is decent, for a clock radio. The numeric display is easy to read, and offers a choice of two brightness settings. The FM radio reception is good. Appearance is not bad. If this thing were designed by someone with a brain, it would be a bargain!

Unboxing this dock, the first thing I notice is the power cord and the external antenna cord. They emerge from the very top of the dock! Why aren't these wires located near the bottom of the dock, like every other electrical appliance I own?

Using the various push buttons on the dock is an exercise in frustration. I can accept that setting the time, FM radio presets, and so forth is difficult. Most clock radios suffer from this defect. These are not operations that one performs every day, so no big deal. But with this dock, even cycling through the radio presets is unpleasant. The printed documentation is not entirely correct, so learning how to use these features requires real work on your part.

If you experience a power failure for even five seconds, all your settings are lost. You have to go through the unpleasantness of setting your alarms and radio presets all over again. If the power failure occurs while you are sleeping, you won't get your wake up call either.

The volume adjustment for normal listening is fine. It offers steps from 0 to 30, meaning silent to extremely loud. However, setting the volume for the wake-to-music feature is a separate setting. This setting only offers settings between 10 and 30. Why did they do this? And guess what, that "10" is unpleasantly loud to wake up to.

That loud wake up call can go on, too. I mean, if you go on vacation and forget to turn off the alarm on this dock, it will play music 24/7.

The final design error is a bit abstract. Apple customers are distinguished by their willingness to pay up for great products. What kind of genius would market his shoddy-but-cheap gadget to this population?

This audio device is more like ipod external speakers with a clock. The quality is not the best, the radio comes in fuzzy sometimes and clear at other times. It will be good when I'm outside by the pool. When I got it, I began to set the clock, but decided not to.... to my surprise as soon as I plugged in my ipod the time was set a big bonus. Bottom line: great as an extra set of speakers for your ipod; not so great as your only external media source for your music device.

I have two ipod alarm clocks and this is my favorite by far. The reason why I like this better is the ease of use. You plug it in, plug your ipod in and the time adjusts immediately to your ipod. The other clock we have does not have this feature and you have to adjust the time manually. Not very convenient in my opinion. It's nice to be able to move the alarm clock around the house and not have to adjust the time each time. The sound quality is ok, but for a small clock and speakers, it's works fine for short periods of time. The red digital display is just right and is easy on the eyes in the middle of the night. I like it and will go to this one time and time again.

Motorola Droid Multimedia Dock (Retail Packaging) - compatible with the first Droid A855

Motorola Droid Multimedia Dock - compatible with the first Droid A855I ordered the Motorola Droid Multimedia Station on the Droid's release day because I thought it was a cool idea. I didn't see it in person until it was delivered to my door and the geek in me loves it!

PROS:

Nice build quality

Non-skid base

Turns your Droid into an alarm clock and weather station

Sync your data via USB cable

Just plain cool looking

CONS:

Will not work with cases

Somewhat expensive

The box includes 4 items, the actual dock, a micro USB cable, an AC adapter, and a user guide. The dock itself is very well made and is quite hefty in weight. You won't be accidentally knocking this dock around from your desk especially since it also has a non-skid base. The dock has a micro USB port that you plug the cable into and then you plug the other end into the AC adapter. This of course, powers and charges your Droid, which is perfect for your nightstand. If you want to sync your Droid, just plug the micro USB cable into your PC. This will charge your Droid too, but at a much slower rate and only when your PC is powered on.

When you dock the Droid in, the orientation changes automatically to landscape. You select what city you want your weather widget to display and boing, you have your multimedia station. The dock has magnets located in specific areas to activate this mode, which I just found can be activated by using an app called "Dockrunner." It is available for download in the Marketplace.

It's a little pricey for what it does but it is cool nonetheless. An audio out or built-in stereo speakers would've been cool but no biggie!

I really wanted this for my Droid, and its good quality. When you place your Droid in this Charging Cradle/"Multimedia Station", it charges you battery and magnets activate a Multimedia mode on your phone, allowing you to brows photos, listen to music, and work with your alarm clock right on your nightstand. Not owning an iPod, I can't tell you how much I love having all mp3's and so forth available right next to my bed. This is a lovely product.

Pros and Cons:

1) The magnets override your lock feature, which may be a security issue for some.

2) The Droid won't fit in the cradle with any kind of body armor/silicone/hard plastic case attached around it. You'll have to take this off when you want to use the cradle.

3) The Multimedia mode has a built-in "dimmer" switch for night time use, but I personally find even that setting emits too much light in my room, and that makes me crazy. If you don't have an issue with things emitting light while you sleep, this is a non-issue for you.

4) The cord that comes with the cradle is the same as comes with the phoneits VERY short. I had to use a USB extension cable to get from an outlet to my nightstand.

I really like this thoughthe problems I have all me.

This docking station came up on a Droid X shopping list, and under a "Droid X docking station" search. Just be aware...this is not compatible with the Droid X.

The droid multimedia station is a nice desk accessory, but it has its problems and don't buy it as a bedside alarm clock.

Pros:

1) Beautiful and compact

2) Easy to exit dock mode and access most other Smartphone functions.

Cons:

1) There is only one dimming level, which is still fairly bright in a dark room.

2) When the display is dimmed, there is little contrast between the numbers and the background, making the display hard to read. This

problem could be solved if the background and/or time coloring were customizable, but this is not the case.

3) When placing a call while the droid is in the dock, the in-call screen does not shift into landscape mode, making it difficult (but not impossible) to accesses the features such as the dial-pad and speaker button.

4) The buttons on the bottom of the screen stay illuminated, regardless of if the screen is dimmed or not.

5) It would be nice to change the widget buttons while in the multimedia dock mode. For example, I do not use the built-in android alarm clock (I use the app Math Alarm Clock), so I would like to have direct access to that application instead of the standard alarm.

6) Sometimes it takes a while for the weather to update. Importantly, the latest droid update mostly fixed this problem, giving me hope that other issues will be fixed in the future.

7) There is no audio jack to send music to speakers

8) Expensive (especially since you can make your own dock with multimedia mode easily)

For the money, you might expect a bit more than a weighted base (with magnet!) and a power adapter. I know I did. You can use software to go into the same mode as the dock for free, so YMMV.

I appreciate the design. It's heavy enough to not get knocked around too easily on my desk, and my wife keeps hers in the kitchen. It would work equally well as an alarm clock/night stand device. We got these with our 2 droids since it was a nice refined way to charge them and still get plenty of functionality (weather/time/music) at a visible angle.

Pros:

1. Well weighted with rubberized bottom keeps it from bouncing around easily

2. Designed nicely Looks sharp. The Droid's audio is surprising clear in speaker mode for playing music (especially for such a small speaker), but a Bluetooth or corded headset (or speaker setup) would work here.

3. Nice angle for keeping an eye on the clock. I'm hoping Google improves the interface... the weather section is a bit small and doesn't give much info. A real-time radar with more info would be best and perhaps a smaller alarm clock with more configuration/personalization options for color, stock ticker, etc. would be great. But this doesn't affect my review of the dock.

4. Fits perfectly and makes it easy to remember where you left your phone. :-)

Cons:

1. I thought that the cable for USB/DC Converter was a bit short. It's the same as the one that came with the Droid. Nothing that can't be amended, but for $30 they couldn't throw in another meter?

2. It boils down to being a weighted/angled slot with charger/usb cable for $30. It probably amounts to $2 in materials if that. It would be expensive at $15.

3. It really doesn't deliver much. You can get everything but the pre-positioned angle without the doc, and the doc software needs improvement (not a slam on the dock itself, just pointing it out). Unless you're really using it as an alarm clock, It's difficult to see the point now that I have it. If you're watching movies on it as a sort of TV replacement, then maybe... yeah.

4. No cases allowed (it won't fit with them on).

In the end, it is well built and designed nicely. I think it should offer more for the money (maybe built in speakers?) but it is what it is, an overpriced accessory, and for what it's worth, usually overpriced accessories are built like junk, so this gets a 4.
