Okay folks, this isn't a 52 inch flat screen tv with 1080p resolution. This is a small 15 inch LCD tv that is meant for a kitchen and delivers all the features that you would want in a kitchen in a compact design. With that in mind, it is perfect. I ran my Insight cable to the tv and the picture is great. Obviously the digital channels that come in from cable look substantially better than the standard cable tv channels. It is like this with most digital LCD tvs though. WIth that said, the digital channels that I do have have a suprisingly really good picture. The FM and AM radios work flawlessly for me with clear channels coming in. The dvd player also worked fine with a clear picture. The remote control is indeed magnetic and is not the strongest magnet you are going to find. If you carefully place it on the fridge (not quickly throwing it on there) then it holds fine without sliding. The screen magnet is indeed a bit weak also. I will probably add a magnet to it to better secure the screen when it is placed up and not in use. The sound is fine for me. There are actually quite a few setting options on this unit that include picture setting (you can adjust a few picture settings such as contrast and brightness) although mine looked fine right out of the box. It also has an auto tuner for the tv that was able to search and find all of my cable stations once I plugged in the cable. I have not tried the tv with a standard tv antenna as I have access to cable tv in my kitchen and went that route.

BTW in terms of channel auto tuning--I read some reviews on another model made by COBY that people were not able to run the auto channel search after doing it the first time when you intitally set it up and the power would go out or you had to retune for whatever reason. You can run the auto scan anytime you want on this tv and it seems to work fine even with the power going out a few times with this tv.

There are not alot of options out there in terms of under-the-cabinet tvs and I did quite a bit of research before deciding to purchase this one. I settled on this one because the price was right and it had a large screen on it. I was somewhat turned off by all the negative reviews for most of the under-the-cabinet tvs but I am glad I decided to purchase this one as I am very happy with what I got. It looks really nice hanging in my kitchen and it doesn't take any space at all when folded up. I have only had the unit for a couple weeks so if I have any problems in the future I will be sure to update. But as of this moment, I would highly recommend this for anyone who has realistic expectations for a LCD tv that is truly meant for the kitchen. For an under-the-cabinet 15inch LCD tv/radio/dvd player for 200.00, I could not be more happy. I am enjoying it and suggest anyone on the fence to give it a try.

After doing a lot of research on under cabinet TVs, the Coby 10.2 seemed to make sense. The company claimed to improve the technology with an ATSC tuner for homes with digital cable, however they did not resolve an ongoing problem that dates back two years, that I only learned of after buying this, running coax cable to the kitchen, installing it, and having the product fail. I will not explain it in detail, but warn buyers that if you plan to use this in LCD TV/DVD player ONLY for or as an AV in only source, it works well, So you can send an RCA cable output from your cable box in the other room to this device through it's AV inputs and watch only what the cable box is playing. If you want to use it to also tune in stations, even basic cable stations and you have digital or HDTV channels, the Coby TV is prone to failure. It gives you one shot to auto tune the channels. After it finds available channels, which it did well, if you power off the device and unplug, it will give you a "no database" error message and no longer display the channels. Once this error code appears, according to Coby, it can not be undone and the device's internal chip cannot re-tune channels. Restoring the device to factory settings fails. There is nothing in the manual about this problem, or warnings about it, and they just claim returning it is only option. They claim its a problem with the manufacturing. If you search the internet for this problem with the Coby LCD TV, you will find many postings about it. Buyers beware.

My first impression of the Coby Under-The-Cabinet TV/DVD player is that it is flimsy and cheap. The screen is a bit loose and just doesn't feel like it's put together all that well. I'm afraid that one of these days when I'm putting the screen up or down that it's going to break so I have to be very gentle with it.

Now with that said, it has a pretty good picture when watching TV and an "OK" picture when watching a DVD. Don't know why it would be different, but it does seem to be. Maybe it's the DVD's optics. The sound is GREAT when watching TV, but I had to crank up the volume all of the way when I was watching a DVD. Oh, and there's no headphone jack on this. Yes, where I have this mounted I would like a headphone jack even though MOST people who buy one of these really wouldn't care.

OH, and it's REALLY a 10.2 inch, not 10. Amazon needs to change the description.

All in all it's a pretty decent unit. I'd recommend it.

After reading all of the other negative feedback about this item, I decided to give it a try myself.

It arrived very quickly. The box itself is constructed rather thin so I did tear it partially when I picked it up around the handle. That would be why there is a handle there... Don't forget to use it.

I opened the box and everything was there except the mounting template... Oh well, I am a man so I continued...

I immediately read the instructions. I did not like the instructions. The installation was easy; however, the wording in the installation instructions appeared funny. It explains to use the mounting template, which I could not find right off the bat because it was wrapped in with the screen under the packing foam. The mounting took about 5 minutes. I forgot to check the side of the cabinet and the size of the player and it turned out I had to offset the player to compensate for the cables coming out of the player on the back wall. I had to mount the front of the player about a 1/4 inch out away from the bottom of the cabinet to give about a 2 1/2 inch gap between the wall and the back of the player.

After all the connections were made, I powered up the tv. (NOTE: There is a FM Radio attenna which I could not plug in. It was as if the attenna plug was smaller than the plug on the player. I ended up not using it and have to make my own antenna to use the FM radio.

The programming portion scared me a little. In many of the other reviews many people said that if you programed it wrong it would brick the player and you could only use if for DVD/CD and FM/AM Radio. After reading the programing instructions I can see why. The programming portion I believe could be aggrivating to some people but it looks very common sense based so there is some guessing with common sense involved. I think to make it easier, they should explain it in better detail and include a step by step photo guide. Auto Progamming the tv took about 5-8 minutes. Be sure to let it run and stop on it's own do not cancel out of it if you think it hangs.

The picture quality is not that bad for a 10.2" however it is somewhat smaller. I started to think about returning it for a 15" but now that it's installed I am going to keep it. I added some photos of the player after I installed it. The TFT display does the normal straight on view. At an angle the screen can appear dark or blank which is normal.

The speaker quality was good and clear. There however is no lows in it. It's about mid range. If you're used to the bass in a surround sound station you would be disappointed but this was for my son to mainly watch so I am not all that worried about it.

There is a little delay when changing modes from DVD/CD TV AV FM/AM and DVD/CD play loading takes a few seconds to perform.

All and All not a bad buy.

Recommendations to you before buying:

1. Be sure there is a cable outlet next to the power outlet (I had to install the cable outlet.)

2. Measure the cabinet space and then subtract about 2 1/2 inches from it to accomodate space for wiring. What you have left over is the true space you have to work with and compare that with the player. Also, you will need to take into consideration as to whether or not there is a lip under the cabinet if so, you need something for spacers to make sure the player is flush on the bottom of the cabinet.

I hope that you find this review helpful and good luck to you on the installation!!

3. Follow the instructions. Meaning read them first a few time through before the installation.

I ordered this TV for my newly renovated kitchen and have used it for a month. So far I love it -have not used the radio or DVD yet. The only thing I will say negative is that they did not supply any plastic mounting spacers that go between the TV and the underside of the cabinet to keep the TV mounted under the edge of the cabinet. I cut some 3/4" thick wood pieces to take us this space and it worked fine. Picture qulaity is very good using Verizon Fios cable.

LCD Clock Radio w/ Dock for iPhone

  • Sony ICF-CL75iP Multi-function Clock Radio for iPod

This clock unfortunately goes to a blank screen in the middle of the night way to often. Resulting in the alarm not going off. You have to unplug and plug to reset it. The radio and LCD display is nice looking (a little too bright at night for my liking) and iPhone docking station does not work now with the newest iPhone.

I love this clock. It is the second one I have owned and until or unless I update my iPod, I will continue to own and use this one. It is perfect and exactly as advertised. It does all of the things the hype says it will do. I have never had any problem with any of the myriad of functions.

The first one was sent to me by my daughter as a Christmas or Birthday gift. She and my granddaughter made a lot of wake-up messages which I used daily. She and I loaded tons of photos for the ongoing slide show. The time and photos have many different choices of mode so you see the time the way you like to see it displayed.

The iPod charger if for the original. It played what I programmed it for perfectly. The sound was perfectly nice and very clear for the iPod and the radio, too. I used the nature sounds to go to sleep and the recorded fun alarms to wake up. Perfect sound. Not my granddaughter on steroids or helium, my granddaughter.

It also uses every type of memory card I, my daughter and my sisters own. Everyone had a photo to add to the array once they saw it. The photo display is perfect, very clear with gloriously focused colors.

Just so you know, this is the second because the first was lost while being transported from one coast to the other. Except for that one occasion, when I didn't pack it in the bags I took with me, it traveled well wherever I took it. And, I took it every where I would be working for any period longer than a month.

My sincerest suggestion it that you read the little instruction manual BEFORE you do anything. This simple clock does a million things. If you don't want the problems from the other review, knowing what you are doing just might help.

I have to say that I was pretty impressed with this little unit. I just installed a JVC in my wife's Jeep and I wanted something new for my car. For 40 bucks, you can't beat this little stereo. I picked up an adapter kit and a wire harness at a local retailer (if you ask, they'll throw in a fist-full of crimp caps for free), and had it installed in my 2004 ion in about 40 minutes. The stereo sounded great hooked to the factory antenna. The FM was crystal clear and adjusted easily. The multiple input slots are a great feature. I put seven or eight songs on a flash drive in WMA and MP3 and a couple of albums on a 4GB SD card and gave it a shot. From the flash drive, the stereo read both file types seamlessly and ignored any additional data that were on the drive. It also read cleanly from the SD card. The sound was good for both. I also ran my iPod through the AUX jack, and it sounded excellent. Another plus is that you can charge the iPod from the USB port while playing through the AUX jack. For what amounted to about $80 (stereo, adapter, harness), it has vastly improved the audio options that I have available.

JUST a USB player, what more do you need? My parents got me a CD player for Christmas that included a USB player as an extra, and after just a week, my wife and I found that we ONLY used the USB player. It was great! An 8GB card and plenty of songs, and I found that I haven't used the CD player in months and months.

So, when it came time to replace the player in my wife's vehicle (1984 Ford Bronco), I found this player, which is simply a dedicated memory card player. No need to pay extra for moving parts, gears that can strip, lasers that can get dirty, etc. etc. Just a straight up memory card player. Perfect!

The player sounds amazing, and the clarity is better than the old stereo we had in there. The USB and radio sound is crisp. This player works wonderfully. The blue background also has a wonderful look to it, and the controls and features are easy to use.

However, to the downside, and why I only gave it 4/5 stars.

There are a few features that aren't a show stopper, but are REALLY annoying.

The first. The volume reverts to a pre-set setting every time you turn the vehicle on.

Next, if you start the vehicle immediately, it'll keep in memory that you're using the USB player. However, if you turn the vehicle on (but not start it), and the player boots up and starts playing (like if you're sitting in the parking lot waiting for someone), and THEN start it, it'll reset and go to radio and forget it's playing the USB. You'll have to go back to the song you were playing. Plus, if it was on random, it'll start playing the same songs over again when you randomize it.

Last, you can only view the time for a few seconds. You can't keep it on the clock. Irritating.

So, in summation, a GREAT player with awesome features, the future of dash players, a great price, and wonderful sound. Just a few bugs that really need to be worked out. They won't ruin anyone's day, but they can be a little annoying.

In the end, however, I highly recommend it.

As others have mentioned, this unit has a few quirks:

* Audio volume issue (defaults to 20 on power-down).

* EQ display is just random pulses and doesn't reflect anything.

* Clock cannot be left "On" to display constantly (I would have preferred this to the fake EQ function on the display)

And a couple I've noticed that I didn't see mentioned:

* Tracks "fade in" over the first second or so, which is irritating for songs that start right in. I would love to find a hidden menu or firmware update to disable this "feature".

* No "Local/DX" selector switch of function. The radio seek is stopping on faint signals, so you end up pressing the button two to three times more than in a more refined unit.

All in all, it's a good value for the price and I'm not going to return it, but I wish I had waited and paid a little more for a higher quality unit.

One feature I really like is that the SD card and USB slot can be used independently, allowing one to have a great deal of music on board.

I expected little for $37, and I got what I expected -until the unit stopped working completely within 6 days of installation.

Benefits: Cheap, easy enough to install, good feature set (USB, Aux., SD(really?), remote, etc.) for the price.

Detriments: (1) When you power the radio off while playing a USB file, the unit starts playing /at the beginning of that file/ when you power it on again. Since I listen to a lot of interviews that are about 20 minutes each, this was quite annoying. (2) It's underpowered; there's just not much power there at max volume. (3) Inconvenient navigation of content stored on USB. (4) Oddly laid-out controls, where the >> button (FF) is located below /and to the left of/ the

Nokia E90 Communicator Unlocked Phone with 3.2 MP Camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Media Player, and MicroSD

Nokia E90 Communicator Unlocked Phone with 3.2 MP Camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Media Player, and MicroSD Slot--International Version with WarrantyThis phone is truly wonderful! I went through several Nokia cell phones and this one is the best one of them! I had the Nokia N81 which is Great! yet I was always troubled with writing my messeges or the websites addresses...etc. Therefore, I started fishing for a devise with a seperate Keypad that enables me to write freeely with no need to press the same key more than once and consume my time hence. This was the ONE!! it is not only easier to write but faster. I like the backlight that lets me seed my through the dark nights. I don't deny that I think I will be missing the 8 GB Nokia N81 however the 2 GB memory card saves enough and I keep downloading everything almost once a month on my computer. the software is Awesome. It is so easily conducted and teaches you step by step what to do. One feature that I truly love is the wireless network detection. I 've been in several places with wireless networks and the device was incredible not to mention it was able to download and open attachments I wasn't able to see in N81. So this one wins. I am still exploring it I've just owned it. However I am growing to like better and better. it is worth it :)

In all fairness, this is one of the best smart phones on the market. I've owned the iPhone and many others, and by far, the Nokia E90 is the best. This phone can blow through an email like a hot knife threw butter, and lets see the iPhone do video conferencing, yeah thats what i thought. The only downside to this phone is that it is heavy, heavier than pretty much any other phone on the market. But man is it sweet. Battery life is fantastic and no other cell phone can match what this phone can do. Your going to spend a pretty penny to get this phone but you won't regret it once you do. Nokia for life!

This phone is a perfect balance between input and output.

Entering text is a breeze, compared to touch phones etc, you will save time and your eyesight as well as save a lot of frustration.

It has everything that can help make your life comfortable, and GPS is great.

Above all, there are hundreds of programs that can be purchased to help you personalize your phone to your needs. Google maps(free) is a gem.

Want to send a fax? Try scanr.com

Want to phone with VOIP? Try truphone.com

The list goes on and on. You can get Ultimate Voice Recorder to record all telephone conversations.

I could go on and on in praise of the phone. One thing I would like to see improved, is the internal memory, which at 128 MB might seem reasonable by today's standard, but more is better.

To sum up, WOW

Sony Am/fm Cd Clock Radio (sy-icf-cd815) -

Sony Am/fm Cd Clock Radio -I knew all I need to know before purchasing this product. I purchased this Sony AM/FM/MP3/Clock Radio AM-FM tuner, CD-R/RW Playback, Dual Alarm as a gift. It was an excellent purchase. The person I gave it to is very happy with the clock radio, especially the dual alarm and the CD player and playback.

I was hoping for a digital tuner and something with a little power. One watt is not enough. I guess if you want a digital tuner & a battery back-up,you must pay more than $70.00. I do like the large dimmable numbers. My 77 year old mother has a difficult time setting the time though. It's not as intuitive as it should be.

This product clearly states it is compatible with the IPHONE 4. I was excited that I finally found, what I thought to be speakers and dock at a reasonable price for the Iphone 4. The box states IT IS compatible with everything BUT THE IPHONE 4. I am pretty ticked off that I have to go through the hassle of returning this product.

If I would have known THIS WAS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE IPHONE 4, I WOULD HAVE SAVED MY MONEY FOR A PRODUCT THAT WAS COMPATIBLE WITH THE IPHONE 4. I have an IPHONE 4, not the 3Gs, not the 3G, and not the G, nor do I have Ipods.

Zlive Speaker System and Docking Station for Zune
  • Certified Zune docking station - Not compatible with Zune HD
  • Charges your Zune while it plays
  • White backlit see-through LCD display
  • RCA video output for viewing videos on your TV
  • Auxiliary input for use with external audio devices

I received a Zune for Christmas, which is what I wanted (I'm not an 'Apple' person), and bought this to use my mp3 player at work. Essentially, the unit sounds and looks good, but it doesn't connect 100% to the Zune and has to be plugged and replugged until it works. The most frustrating thing is that the remote only works when it chooses to, which is about half the time! I put a new battery into it, hoping to alleviate the problem, but it didn't. Now, I simply don't use the remote; I get too frustrated wondering whether or not it's going to work this time!

The sound quality is good. I use it in an office, so I don't have it cranked up to maximum, but it does what I bought it for. I just wish they hadn't even included a remote it the darn thing wasn't dependable.

WELL, (Jan. 30) it's been sent back to the company for a week now. It is completely unusable. If the unit is repaired or replaced and sent back to me in a timely manner, I will raise my rating to a five, because costumer service counts for something. If I don't get a response or satisfaction, I'll drop the rating to a 1 for the small consolation that will provide. At least it will serve as a warning to others. We'll see what they do.

OKAY! I received a NEW Zlive Speaker System to replace the malfunctioning one I returned and this one works exactly as I hoped! It's a very nice system! I might've gotten a lemon the first time around, but I'm impressed with how this thing functions now that I have a good one! The remote is simple to use (don't put a Pepsi can between it and the system) and works every time. The sound is not gigantic, fill-the-room-with-wall-to-wall-music bold, but it's simply perfect for the office environment in which I use it. I tried to change the rating from 3 stars to 5 because of the prompt, courteous service the company exhibited in making things right, but it won't let me. In any case, even with my false start, I recommend the Zline.

Zlive's first speaker, the NS108B is really a Zune version of the iLive IS208B ipod/touch speaker dock tailored, of course for Zune devices. I bought this from Amazon.com for $59.99, presumably retail, seeing as it's not available anywhere, not even on Amazon for 1-2 months or on the Zlive website. The ipod version maxes out at $51.99 (average $40).

Unboxing: Nice package, all the standards. Just plugging it in lights up the clock display.

What's included: Clips for different Zune sizes, the remote (with button battery already installed), warranty and manual.

Operation: Pretty simple, plug it in, clip in your clip for your Zune device and slide in your Zune to start playing.

Sound quality: Given its size, the Zlive NS108B gets very good volume considering it's size. It's not a full sound and sounds kind of confined, or rather restrained in the bass section and even a bit in the highs; but it's not meant to be a boombox (we're waiting on Zlive's 2nd entry for that). It has an EQ but it's not documented what the settings are use your own ear for the best setting. Even at what I deemed the flat setting, which is how it starts, the sound is clear and never distorts even at max volume which is pretty nice. It seems as though the mid range gets the most boost.

Treble ok and clear; mid-range good, clear;bass present, not powerful.

The dock also has an aux in for other devices, an aux out and a video out (assuming your device can send video out) pretty standard; the video out worked without a hitch.

Also, it's worth noting the remote is just great. Not only is there a back button (finally), but also a Menu button, which jumps straight to the menu neat. You can do everything from the remote you would be able to on the device/speaker dock except fast-forward/rewind songs. Cool.

Pros: Even though the ipod version is cheaper by $20 on average, it's still the next to cheapest Zune speaker dock on the market, (iHome's first Zune dock has that honor @ $49.99 retail) and the least expensive 2 speaker stereo portable dock with a clock. Great remote control.

Cons: Although there is a clock, it isn't an alarm clock not really a con. It's small, but constrained to AC power; there's a panel for 2 AAA batteries, but it's really for backup and not for real playing. Strangely enough, as I'm writing this review the sound in the right speaker goes out. I'll have to return it dang! This t could just be a bad unit it happens sometimes.

Ratings:

Price 4.0/5.0 (Could be $50, which would still be $10 more than the ipod version, but still be a good value)

Quality (hardware) 3.0/5.0 (I reduced my score from a 4.5 because my right speaker just went dead 20 minutes into steady use what the hey?)

Quality (sound) 4.0/5.0 Not high end sound, but you should expect that from a small form portable dock like this. It could be better, because the mid-range is so nice.

Others 4.5/5.0 Excellent remote, intuitive design, ease to use

Overall 4/5 Recommended

After looking all over for a Docking Station for the new Zunes I just bought my two girls for Christmas, I finally found this through Amazon (everything is for I-Pods ... oyyyy). I did find another type of docking station at Best Buy, which was $99, but read bad reviews on the Internet. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound and volume for such a little box. As other people have mentioned, it is not a Bose stereo that you will use for a large party, but definately will serve your purpose for a kitchen or bedroom. My girls absolutely loved them. I actually paid $59.99 right before Christmas, but now see they are $47.99, which I am bummed since I can't return since they are open, being used and would spend the difference of savings on shipping back. However, I think they are worth the price $59.99 or $47.99.

Good luck and Happy New Year!

Want Zlive Speaker System and Docking Station for Zune (Black) Discount?

I have the 120G Zune and purchased the Altec Lansing speakers system from Best Buy and never got it to work. I looked on Amazon and purchsed this unit and am VERY satified. It works beautifully with my 120G Zune and the sound is very nice. All of the buttons actually control the Zune which was my problem with the other unit. I would highly recommend this model if you have the 120G.

I am very pleased with this speaker dock. I found it at Amazon for amazing price of $34.99 after seeing it listed as an accessory for the new Zune HD on . The sound is great for price. All the features work with my Zune HD. You should note that to listen to HD Radio on the Zune HD you will need to use an accessory input wire (not included) and the input jack on the back of the Zlive speaker dock to connect it because that wire serves as an HD Radio antenna (like it does when you use your earbuds.) I love HD radio and the sound is crystal clear on this speaker dock. This is a very inexpensive way to get get your HD radio amplified for a good sized room. It also has video out to connect to a monitor or tv. The extra input on the back also works with my Ipod Shuffle.
