I'm peruavian, bought this phone in Peru with movistar service...

PROS:

It looks nice and solid. I was very scared in scratching the screen (I've always done this in my past phones) and this one is incredible solid! the phone also felt down once, of course with no intention, and continue working normal.

It has cool features, you can personalize where to locate your quick options in the menu, so you get a very simple navigation. Finally i have to say that the battery is great...i can use it for 4 days with regular use and continues working.

CONS:

The internal memory is poor.

No USB cable included.

Pictures with low resolution(but normal in cell phones of its kind)

This phone is still BIG and heavy considering some other models.

For the price, durability and apparel this one is a good choice.

I've never made friends with nokia in the past, and i regret, beacuse this is a very good choice if you need a hard-everyday-use phone...simple and firm.

I've had this phone for just over a year now, and it has been a good phone, but after a year of use, its pretty shot. It operates fine, but the physical looks and features wear out very fast. The rubber side pieces were a nice little thing to have until they started to yellow and they all fell off. It doesn't support mp3 ringtones. However, I have never had a problem with the service and its been a great phone for texting and talking. Battery life is pretty good also. I absolutely love the user-friendly menus and screen features. Nokia has done a great job creating one of the best phone operating systems out there.

First a disclaimer. I am an unabashed biased Nokia phone user. They have better reception, better user interface, better reliability, and free PC Suite Nokia PC connection software(read this OUTLOOK/SYNC CONTACTS BACKUP).

This phone has a thoughtful alarm sequence and missed call/msg/alarm alert. It begins with vibrate, moves to vibrate+low ring, then vibrate+increasing louder ring, and finishes with occasional side light blinks if you never answer. Very pleasant non-irritating reminder.

The Contact Note length has been increased from previous Nokia Series 40 phones about 4 times. This is very nice if you use your phone to add extra info notes to your contacts, a very nice business feature. The PDA features have been expanded with TODO lists, Weekly calendar/appts view, Notes list, and Meeting/Memo alarm types.

The GOTO list has been expanded for customizable quick access to your most used phone functions. Contacts, Msg, Calendar, and Camera functions access are fixed on the navigation keys. Nice. The camera is good for email and 4X6 shots in adequate light only. Typical of these business phones.

Some reviews on the inet mention this phone is designed to attract the younger crowd because of its side lights and customizable 'electric' face plate option. Well, this may be, but for the rest of us practical users, without the option face plate, this is a very small and thin small business phone with side lights that blink when a msg/call is arriving and blink intermittently forever until you look at any missed msg/call/alarms. NICE!

I won't mention all the other features because they are covered in others reviews and are in the specs, so let me just say this is an excellent phone for anyone from the young to the small business person to the less experienced user. It covers most of the bases needed, and in a small, practical, feature laden platform.

Did I mention it has three ways to backup your precious and value contact/notes data base, tediously built up over valuable time; SIM CARD on board stores/backs-up to 256 contact numbers, SyncML Client to upload your full phone memory to free online backup/recover sites, and thirdly, Nokia's free PC Suite Windows software that makes your phone appear as just another external storage device you can 'Explore'!

You will like it if your heart is not set on an MP3 player and HiQ Camera combination device. More to go wrong so better separate in my opinion.

I have been very pleased with T-Mobiles service in S CA. You can use this phone as a no contract GO PHONE for 8.5 cents per minutes when you buy a T-Mobile SIM card and a 1000 minute card as low as $85. If you chatter a lot, then the free nights/weekends/faves minutes with contract and phone makes more sense. Hope this helps. :)

this phone has more features than i need, so i can only evaluate the basic functions which were fine. if it weren't for the bad service i'm getting from T-Mobile i wouldn't even dream of getting rid of it. I've had it over a year and never had any trouble with it. I used the camera in the beginning as a novelty but i don't use it much anymore, but it works fine.

I loved this phone when I got it. It lasted a year and I had no problem with it untill my son threw it in a glass of juice. If only it were water proof, it would be perfect. I've had a selection oh phones since this one and they didnt compare, so as of now I'm waiting on my new nokia 3220. The menu isnt as bad as one person said, and there are short cut menus. Also to adjust the call volume you have to be talking, just push the over button to the left or right. I loved this phone and I cant wait for my new one.

This small radio gives great sound. I wanted a Bose, but was not willing to pay the price. This gives similar sound and really fills my need for background music in my greatroom and kitchen. Not being a technical person, I did find programing the unit a little challenging until I finally stumbled on the "automatic" option. I use this product every day, have had it for a month and am really happy with this inexpensive addition to my home.

I purchased this unit for my vacation home and it fits the bill perfectly. The sound fills the living room very nicely. There are several equalizer settings and the unit is put together very well it doesn't feel cheap. I also have the Bose system at my house at home and this unit compares very favorably to it for half the price. The only drawback that I have is that my ipod is a 1st generation and it didn't recognize it. My wife's iphone and my kids itouch worked perfectly. In order to get my ipod to work, I purchased a male to male connector for the auxiliary input in the unit and the headphone jack in the ipod. The ipod still has to sit in the cradle but it won't charge the unit. It ran on battery power but played for 5+ hours with no issues.

I bought one for each kid.

At first, I tried the larger SC-HC30Panasonic SC-HC30 Compact Stereo System but too big for the kid's space but great sound. I looked the newer SC-HC35Panasonic SC-HC35 Compact Stereo System but it does not look as appealing as the older SC-HC30.

This model is great because the iPOD sits in the tray (in front) and does not affect playing of the CD or radio. When you stop playing the CD and turn off the via power button on top, it goes back to charging the iPOD....perfect.

This model is very attractive.

When I looked at the Panasonic SC-HC25 Compact Stereo System, it looked cool and the reviews were quite good. I was a little worried and hesitant about purchasing this item because I have never bought something like this online. But I was wrong its way better than the old little iPod player I had! The sound is good (for my taste and Im picky when it comes to sound!) there are all these options you can choose from like bass, sound quality etc. I even played one of my songs that was very instrustmental and it sounded very nice. The remote works but you have to point it right at it but thats fine. And the CD player is nice also, the sliding door for it is so cool! I think you will be very pleased with this product. It shipped without any damage, I was also worried about that too. I never reviewed a product so I hope this will help you!

When my old Sony CD Player/Clock/Radio finally died I wanted a replacement CD Player compact enough to fit in a specific corner on the kitchen counter, with simple controls and good sound quality. The Panasonic SC-HC25 meets these requirements very well. I use it exclusively to play CD's as I have flourescent lights over the kitchen cabinets and LED can lights over the counters, in a Florida house under a metal roof, so radio reception is nil.

My only negative is one of omission. My old Sony had a CD "Repeat-Repeat/All-Shuffle-Repeat/Shuffle" feature which I used frequently in the "Repeat/Shuffle" mode to keep one CD playing tunes in a random order throughout long recipe preparations. I wish the Panasonic had this repeat play feature. Omission of a repeat play feature is the one reason I gave this Panasonic unit four stars rather than five. To be fair I must note that sound quality from the new Panasonic is much better than the sound quality from the old Sony Clock-Radio.

Maxx Digital AM/FM/iPod Clock Radio

The Good easy setup, smallfits easily on the nightstand holds the iPod well and charges it the remote works reasonably well sound is better than I expected for a clock radio unit. The tuner and the volume are on opposite sides so one doesn't get confused about what is being adjusted.

Features it could use Duel alarm, presets for radio stations. Sleep function that works with the iPod (only the radio does that) hello this is an iPod clock radio???!!!.

The Bad The clock face is so bright it fills the room could be used as a child's night light I kept waking up and wondering what light I had left on. This is because they have the lighting reversed. The numbers should be lit and the background dark. The clock face is fairly large so I thought I would be able to tell time at night or from a distance. More than three feet and I can't tell the time day or night. At night the light house warns you to stay away from the treacherous shores of the night stand. During the day the contrast is too poor to make out the time unless one goes right up to the unit.

I have looked for a good iPod clock radio at a reasonable price. The bright light seems to be a common problem. Keep looking.

Plays music well, but there are a few areas where Maxx Digital cheaped out on. For one, the volume control is a mechanical dial as opposed to a button. As a result you cannot change the volume with the remote. Also, the station control is mechanical, although it does tell you what station you're on digitally. If those things were changed as well as the previous reviewer's complaints, this would get a higher rating. Not bad for a black friday deal.

I got mine cheap on Black Friday(wont tell how much I payed,but I got it quite cheap,I hate paying full price!) and I got my money's worth,I can wake up to my favorite tunes,shuffled Ipod style,goovy baby,or just listen to it if i want too,and It recharges it(the Ipod) to boot!!!Heck it even comes with a easy to use remote!!! Loconet Super Throttle, Duplex Radio Equipped

The DT402 D is the top of the line throttle from Digitrax. It is radio equipped duplex throttle. The word "duplex" simply means that you can activate and start using the throttle without having to plug it in to UP5, UR92 or such. It has duplex, i.e. two way communication with the command station, DSC100 or any other. You do need a UR92, which is a radio transciever which acts as the interface between the throttle and the command station. This is handy particularly for large layouts run by train clubs for example. But it can be used on any layout. The one thing to be aware of is that the radio signal is pretty strong and may cause some interference with other devices. It can also operate on Infra Red mode with UR90 or UR91 transcievers.

The radio throttle has a very short cord that does allow for connecting to LocoNet panels or receivers but it's not well suited for tethered operation. It supports up to 30 functions, sound functions, has a black and white display, allows for controlling two trains at a time, supports programming and many other features. It includes all features that any Digitrax throttle has -hence the Super Throttle. It's narrow and long and fits nicely in your hand. I've used this one on many occasions at friend's house and it's a joy to use. As far as durability is concerned, my friend has several of them and they've been used and abused and dropped many times and they just keep running.

The only thing is that this is a bit pricier than other throttles, either the DT402 infrared or the UT4 throttles. Both of which are good alternatives if you're price sensitive and certainly cover the basic features. But if you have the option to buy this one, then you certainly won't regret it.

I have to say....I bought 2 of these on a whim in a recent sale.......

Suffice to say....I think these could be the MOST IMPRESSIVE Wireless Speakers I have ever owned.....and I've owned them all from 900mhz ones to fancy Sony 2.4ghz ones. All came with a downside of some sort whether it be Hiss, distortion, poor sound quality, low volume....etc. These have none of those problems

While 1st testing....I was blasting music on these.......1st in a bathroom.......Zero Hiss.........I was like "How loud can I make these baby go??" Suffice to say......very loud (you can definitely crank them up).....They have clear highs, and nice Bass and you can adjust the Treble and Bass.

Also...very simple setup....literally plug and play and it supports up to 3 different inputs.

I was absolutely amazed by the range of these.....as I was easily beyond 90+ Feet......I walked all over indoors with the remote speaker in my arm (it's not that heavy even with 6C Batteries).....I experienced Zero Distortion or dropouts with no Clicking (that I've experienced in other "wireless" speakers") and this was in fully obstructed 2-3 rooms away.

Throw in that the environment contains a wide variety of 2.4Ghz Wireless Products including: 8 set 2.8Ghz phone system, 802.11g Network with a D-Link Range Extender and 2 bridged Routers, Wireless HP Printers, XBOX 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii, Wireless Bridge with VOIP Adapter.....etc.

Impressive.....Verrry impressive product. Glad I bought 2.....one for use on my deck....and one for use on patio at beach house.

I've seen wireless speakers almost 2 x the price that didn't perform nearly as well as these.

The styling is great and the only downside is that they aren't waterproof/weatherproof....then they'd be THE perfect wireless outdoor speaker. I'm still gonna give them 5 STARS because they beat all the other models I've ever tried my entire life.

I recently bought three thinking that I could use them with my iPod simultaneously but turns out that you can't. However, I bought a Radioshack 4-way Distribution Amplifier which allowed me to do this perfectly. Just connect what you want to hear into the audio input ports (buy an extra RCA to 1/4" cable), and the transmitters go into the output ports with the RCA to 1/4" cables that they include. That way you can use the multiple speakers anywhere within range and hear the same music on them.

The sound is totally acceptable when it's working, with some occasional pops/clicks. I'm using it outside on my balcony so I don't have to blast speakers inside, annoying my neighbors.

Problem is I have a lot of wifi equipment near it, and it seems to be overwhelmed by it, causing it to drop out often, and it's only 10 feet away from the transmitter. If I move the transmitter, it will also cause the wireless connection on anything close to flutter.

It's fine, but not great solution if you are streaming music over your wireless network, or ... even have a wireless network, apparently! (802.11b and 802.11g use 2.4ghz, same as this device)

I originally bought an Acoustic Research AW-811 wireless speaker but the unit wouldn't power up after using it a few times. Then I bought the Music Sphere and it has been awesome. The sound quality is better than the AW-811, and the build quality seems much better. It's very stylish too.

I'm using the speaker to listen to music in the kitchen playing from my computer upstairs. For this purpose it works really well. I haven't heard any static or interference. I have an audo splitter on my computer so that I can hear music from the computer speaker and music sphere at the same time. Some other wireless solutions (saitek A-250 and Logitech Wireless Music System for PC) don't allow you to do this.

Another cool feature is that you can mute or adjust the volume using any remote (the speaker has a learning system). If you opt to mount the speaker on the wall, this comes in very handy.

Overall, I think this is the best solution for piping music from your computer or home stereo to another area of your house.

I got this speaker to extend my music playing to my pool/deck area. The setup was straightforward, the quality is nice, and the distance covers my entire house and pool deck (3200 sq ft with two stories). I got a second one to use as alternatives for rear speakers for my 5.1 movie setup. I know I could get better performance if I run the wires and drill in-wall/ceiling speakers but that's just a lot of work...plus I rather not crawl through insulation materials.

I rated it a 4-star because it's not weather proof. I would love to be able to hang this unit on my patio/deck but am afraid the humidity will shorten its life.

Duracell makes a great battery; and these batteries will show you just how good they are made once you try them. The "Coppertop" version of these AAA size batteries does indeed last longer than pervious types of AAA batteries by Duracell. I really like this because I often travel by public transportation and I use my portable CD player to listen to music. I always get several hours more use out of these CopperTop Duracell AAA batteries; and that's grand! They contain no mercury which at least according to Duracell helps the environment.

Of course, these AAA batteries can be used in anything that requires them--not just portable CD players. Moreover, the reclosable storage pack actually does close neat and clean for you so that the batteries remaining inside the package don't get dusty or exposure to any elements if you're outside camping or something.

Use these batteries before their expiration date. The expiration date will always be several years into the future; but some people still have them lying around in a dresser drawer anyway. The problem is not only do they lose their potency; the batteries also begin to corrode. When the batteries corrode eventually a whitish powdery sticky substance begins to leak out of them and this makes a mess--trust me!

As the product description correctly notes, please do NOT dispose of these or ever place these in or near a fire. They could indeed explode. I wouldn't carry them loose either--they should be protected in their cardboard case or they should be already installed in your portable CD player, your flashlight or whatever device you placed them into.

Overall, these Duracell Coppertop AAA size batteries are the ones to choose if you need AAA size batteries. I highly recommend them for any device that needs AAA size batteries. Duracell offers their customers a toll free number they can call if they're not happy with these batteries; and that impresses me--that's good customer service on Duracell's part.

Pros:

1) The big (1.4"inch tall), dimmable numbers display is easy to read w/o my glasses (not coincidentally, my preference for sleeping) and is readable well off-axis (at least by contrast to the more modern looking back-lit displays which have poor off-access readability and can brighten a room beyond tolerable when dimmed all the way and you are trying to sleep.)

2) The buttons are logically placed, labeled well enough, and reasonably big and few.

3) Speakers on both sides prevent it from being loud to one person while inaudible to the other.

4) It is heavy enough to stand its ground in the face of flailing-blindly-in-the-night button groping.

5) Substantiating my assertion that it is easy to learn to use the instruction manual is only one sheet of paper with about a foot of column length to teach you how to use it

6) For the $ (under $40 at Best Buy,) it's pretty good especially considering that all things CD are a dying breed.

Cons:

1) No back-up battery but I knew this going in and bought it anyway.

2) The wording is a little misleading on the box but it is definitely not a digitally tuned radio, as one astute reviewer revealed. It does pull stations in at least as well as its predecessor and the tuning dial is located well out of harm's way.

3) Only CDs play in stereo not FM. Even knowing this, I can still sleep at night.

4) The CD's volume is less than the radio's so if you plan to go to sleep to the radio and wake to a CD, you just might sleep through it's that different.

I Loved this clock for three years.

Pros great for listening to my CD to get to sleep, dual alarms, Radio picked up signals from super far away.

Consno battery backup, did not withstand abuse by four year old.

I recommend this alarm clock only if you can keep younger kids away from it.

This is my third Dream Machine and it does not disappoint. The low light setting on the dial is perfect and it's easy to set and operate. Love it!

I used standard shipping and received this item less than 24 hours from when it was ordered. That seems fairly good to me. The radio works fine although I wish the reception was a little better, it is however typical of a radio that uses the line cord as an antennae. I like the dual controls for the dual alarms and the ability to go forward and back when setting the time, instead of having to go all the way around on the 24 hour clock. Sound is not as good as a stereo system but seems better than most inexpensive alarm clocks. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I gave this a 4 star review when it came. The only thing I hated was waiting 13 days not really knowing where it was. I got a Straight Talk Tmobile sims in it now. I have no 3G so far. I would buy this again and would tell people to buy it. It has froze up about 4 time. Other times smooth and fast. Talking and listening are clear, no static. I modify a IPhone 4 case for it. I really think it is worth the money and the time waiting to get it. The fact that it is unlocked with dual sims is a plus.

Two Months with the phone and I've learned to double click to go to desktop, hover over to delete a message, hold the button to bring up menus, hold the start button or pull the battery to revive a freeze (though I haven't experienced this yet).I believe if you want 3G you'll have to go with tmobile or att and not the cheap piggy-backers. I get edge (enhanced 2G)with my cheap network. The data is slow(maybe even throttled)but messaging is fine,SMS is fine.

My buddys with older android os's are jealous of ice cream sandwich, although they can surf the internet 10xs faster, but they're also paying 2xs as much.

Mine came with a chinese browser but with play store. So I was able to load english chrome or whatever, using play store.

Not sure why gps is so bad (slow network?) but it rarely works. No built in compass either so night sky will be useless.All that being said I'm pretty happy with what the phone does do well. I was looking for a "cheap" sim phone to get cheap no contract service and I thought the iphone android novelty was pretty cool.

3/19 visiting Oregon and pleased to see the phone gets the hspa band which is way faster.

Android ICS 3 soft Navigation buttons not present (Hopefully I haven't missed a setting to enable them). Recent apps is the button I needed so I installed "Recent Apps Quick Button" app and placed icon in the Favorites tray.

No default notifications for missed calls/texts when phone is sleeping. Installed NoLED app to show icons on screen.

The phone arrived within a week. After a few weeks of use this phone has been perfect for me.

My mobile phone usage pattern is mainly voice and text. I rarely use data, so no need for web browsing, email, content streaming, GPS, camera etc. I didn't need a big GPS screen type phone.

My previous phone was Motorola flip phone with Tmobile Pay As You Go by the minute plan.

I needed a phone for voice and more texting, so I went with this as my first Android phone.

The included manual doesn't provide much information. Based on comments from others I supplemented it with the ICS 4.0 user guide for the Galaxy Nexus from Google.

I inserted my Tmobile SIM in one of the slots and it worked right away.

When the phone is powered on it generates a log entry that a second SIM is not detected.

I have now converted to Tmobile monthly Pay As You Go plan. I also added a G.Skill 16GB MicroSDHC class 6 card.

The screen size may be small but it is OK for me. I have it set to the Extra large font so I can read it without my glasses.

I carry the phone easily in my front pant pocket. I just have to make sure the phone is locked first. If it isn't, it will be on a screen 4 menus deep when I next unlock it.

The USB charger is very bulky. It is the international charger with dual round plugs. The phone includes a converter to dual spaded plugs. I can plug it into a wall plug but the charger keeps slipping out of the converter. It also takes up a lot of room.

The phone will occasionally freeze for about 10 secs when transitioning from an app in landscape mode to the Home screen in potrait mode. It runs fine once this is done. It hasn't happened under any other circumstance.

I am having trouble finding a slim case for this phone.

I have tried one of the bumper cases from china. It fit OK around the phone but the depth front to back was too small.

I have an aluminium case on order. The rear of the case with the screws will face forward, but hopefully it fits.

I bought some front/back screen protectors for an iphone 4. They front one was about 1mm too narrow on the width and the back camera opening is a little too high.

Someone on Amazon UK spoke of modifying a flip case, but I am not at that point yet.

The Wireless-G reception is not as good as my laptop. I am not able to compare it to other phones or tablets.

iHome truly gets what an iPhone/iPod accessory should be.

First, let's be clear about what it's not: This is not a stand-alone clock radio. Without the iPhone/iPod attached, it's simply a clock with a buzzer alarm (buzzer sounds like the ubiquitous vehicle back-up alarm).

To use it effectively, you must have your iPhone/iPod attached and you need two apps loaded to your device: iHome+Sleep (a free app) and iHome+Radio ($2.99). Then, if you want to use it as a clock radio, you must have the iHome+Sleep app open. If any of these conditions aren't met, it reverts to being a clock with a buzzer alarm.

"Wow," you're probably thinking, "is it worth this hassle?" Yup, it truly is.

What you get is a stylish, compact, solidly-built unit that charges your device (meaning there's one less cord), provides excellent sound for your iPod songs, and allows you an abundance of wake-up and go-to-sleep options. With the provided adapters, it's also easy to slide your device on to the unit (set ups for multiple versions of iPhones/iPods).

Time display has a good variety of settings, so you can keep it bright or dim it down depending on your preferences. Next to the bed, even with my bad eye sight, I have no trouble reading it at night at the setting I've chosen, and it doesn't illuminate the whole room.

The iHome+Radio is an excellent app giving you access to a large number of categories and stations for streamed content (and I understand they're working to increase offerings all the time). It will replace my Tune-In radio app, as it has equal offerings and is a well-designed app.

If iHome+Sleep can be faulted for anything, it's the overkill on its design and capabilities (e.g., you're presented with a slider bar for telling it when you go to sleep and when you wake up and it will track your sleep history for you ["Let's see now...I'm about to fall asleep, I'd better reach over and touch my slider..."]).

What it does give you:

· Wake to iPod music, buzzer, or any station that streams through iHome+Radio.

· Set your alarm(s) for weekdays, weekends, or any combination of days you want.

· If you want, automatically view Facebook or Twitter feeds before going to sleep or when you wake up.

· Vary the 'fade-in' of the alarm (starts softly, then gradually fade-in to the volume you want).

· Control how bright the iHome+Sleep screen is on your iPhone (remember, it has to be open to use this device).

· Use it in reverse and play iPod/internet radio when going to sleep (sleep timer).

All-in-all, this is a GREAT device. I've quickly gotten used to procedures you must follow, and the options it gives you are wonderful.

I was looking forward to an alarm clock that would work well together with my iPod Touch 4th Gen. Based on the product description ("application-friendly") and on the other positive product reviews, I expected that I would be able to use iHome's own free "iHome+Sleep" app to set an alarm on my iPod, dock the iPod, and then use the buttons on the iHome iP21 to control the alarm. Unfortunately, as I discovered, the iHome+Sleep app isn't actually compatible with the iP21.

When an alarm is set via the iHome+Sleep app and the iPod is docked, when the alarm goes off, the alarm sounds through the iP21's speakers, but the Snooze button on the iP21 does *not* work to snooze the alarm; the alarm must be snoozed via the iPod's touch screen. The Snooze button on my alarm clock working is a must-have requirement for me.

When an alarm is set via the iP21 hardware itself, when the alarm goes off with the iPod docked, the iPod tries to play whatever audio it was last playing (regardless of any settings in the iHome+Sleep app). This worked okay if the last audio to be playing was music from the iPod's own Music app, but I found that sometimes if the last audio to be playing was through another 3rd-party app such as Pandora or TuneIn Radio, the iPod sometimes wouldn't make any sound at all (despite the volume not being muted). My alarm clock's alarm being audible while the alarm is going off 100% of the time is also a must-have requirement for me.

I contacted iHome technical support via email and explained the problems I was having, as described above. The reply I received was "Sorry model iP21 is not apps enhanced, our sleep apps do not work with the iP21."

Therefore, the iP21 wasn't useful for me as an alarm clock, but only as an iPod speaker. Since an alarm clock was what I needed, I returned it.

This is a great alarm clock. As other users have mentioned, the sound quality is not super bass and super loud, but from a speaker this size (and an alarm clock) it has pretty good sound. My favorite feature of this device, is the size, it is pretty small (it looked humongous in the picture), which is good, because my night stand is small. The other nice feature is the dimming. I have always hated alarm clocks that light up the room, and in the past I have covered alarm clocks with towels to cut out the light, this alarm clock can go from bright, dim1, dim2, to no light all with an easy push of the snooze/dim button (I can turn if off at night and when I want to know the time hit the dimmer! It only has one alarm, but that is OK for me. It has back up battery, and unlike past clocks that just save the time (cut the display off), this one keeps the display running and operations in tact (which is real nice). However, the best feature that is not advertised that much, is the inclusion of Apple iPod/iPhone inserts, in the past my alarm clocks, have not included the insert, and my iPhone 4 did not come with one (I have been using an iPhone 3G insert with the iPhone 4, for the longest (which is not really snug on the iPhone 4). The unit comes with the following inserts: iPhone 4, iPhone 3G (and 3GS), iPod Touch 4G (also iPod Nano 6G), iPod Nano 5G, and iPod Touch 2G. My only flaw with the device, is it does not have next/previous track buttons, you have to use the iPhone/iPod controls to go through your music, which is not that bad, but it would be a nice feature. It supports the app that keeps track of sleep, and alarms. However, I have found this app, tries to keep the display lit on the iPhone when in use, which is more light (and not good for me).

To let you know (I used an iPhone 4), unless you have the iPod playing all sounds (type clicking) and app sounds (like YouTube) are disabled and cannot be heard while docked (YouTube, can be played if you start a YouTube video and hit play on the alarm clock). However, the phone will ring (and vibrate) and texts and emails will vibrate only (no sound). -This might be picky, but I wanted to let you know.

In the end, the alarm clock, has nice features and an easy to use system, with an easy to read and understand display with the best dimmer options (no light!!!), and everything you need to plug and play, oh, and also, you do not have to set the clock, it connects to the iPhone/iPod and pulls the time from the device (which is great for iPhone, since the time is synced with the carrier!)

Let me get out of the way that the sound quality is not the best I've ever heard, but that's not what I expect from a clock. Especially one with no built-in radio function. I have an older iHome under-cabinet unit in my kitchen that sounds much better, but the quality is acceptable for this unit's purpose.

What do I love? It charges your iPod, looks nice, has a small footprint on my night stand and is easy to use. It has a gradual wake and a wonderful dimmable display. So nice not to have glaring numbers in your face all night but still be able to check the time.

I got the app and had it set up with my iPod Touch in just a few minutes. I've used the alarm with and without the iPod and it was simple and effective both ways. I also love the time synch with the iPod. Plug your pod in and push a button the time is set!

There are a ton of features available through the apps (iHome+radio and iHome+sleep). You can make as much or as little use of them as you like, but they're quite nice. Take a look at those apps to see what this unit can really do for you.

Overall, a quality product that does what it should and makes great use of the iPod.

I must confess I've been using the same alarm clock for over twenty years. It's a Nakamichi and when I bought it I was ridiculed for spending so much on an alarm clock. Jump forward a few decades and now the expectations for bedside clocks have apparently risen dramatically.

I decided to give this clock a try. I installed the app on my iPod touch and have been tracking my sleep habits. I managed to resist the temptation to over-share by having the app automatically post my sleeping habits on my Facebook page. Too much information, in my opinion.

Anyway, the nitty gritty of this alarm is this...

Pros:

Cons:

tinny sound quality, even with the extra bass boost in effect

the stand-alone alarm doesn't even have a radio, so unless you've got your ipod connected you're going to be waking up to a simple alarm

the display doesn't dim enough for my taste

The company sells larger units which hopefully sound better. For now, I think I'll stick to my trusty old alarm but if you want to wake up in the digital age, this could be worth a look.

These flagship Sony Phones did have some bugs and issues when they were first released mainly OS problems. However those have been fixed and they were not all that commonplace. A software update can fix problems if they occur.

That said, the technical achievements on this phone are second to none. Mine personal one is unlocked, some are not. All come with a high quality lens and a 12.1 MP camera. They have full built-in flashes, zoom features, light/dark/aperture adjustments just about anything you would want in a digital Camera but its a phone, too.

All of them are GPS ready, have calendars, can set appointments, can use Wi-Fi, are Quad Band and will work almost anywhere. Having that quad band means that they can be used in almost any country imaginable that has cell phone reception. These take SIM cards, so your network must be a SIM network!! They are fully touch screen and come with a stylus as well. The touch screen requires a bit of pressing to be used properly.

They can also act as your MP3 player. They come with headphones, usb cables, power cables and component cable AV cables. Yes, they come with component cable. You can use these phones and hook them up to stereo and TV's via the component cable. I believe their memory card slot can go up to 32 GB? Whatever the limitation is on the standard. So basically you can put about 800 songs at 4mb each on there, or about 7-8 compressed movies.

All in all, these phones do not disappoint. Their ship issues have long since been fixed and the only other thing I can think of that some people may not like or that you may run across is the OS. It is a bit clumsy, not the most intuitive. But with some playing around and venturing in the menu's you should have no problem operating this thing to all capabilities.

Update: the phone is broken. See comment to this review. I did get bluetooth to work well with two headsets, but it is useless now.

I was looking for a very small mobile phone when I happened on this baby and was hooked. Unfortunately, I got it in pink, not really my macho thing, but I am reconciled.

It works very well with a Tmobile SIM and there was no setup involved. I have a $15 a month plan and WAP is agonizingly slow, and I haven't figured out how to use it correctly yet. But that isn't a big concern.

The specs say it will work with a 4GB micro media card, but it seems to be working great with my 32GB card.

I primarily got this for jogging, just as a way to be able to make calls or send text messages. It does both well. The camera seems very primitive to me, but I don't care. I had to watch a video to find the stylus -my fingernail worked ok without it.

It works with a bluetooth headset but I found setup confusing. I have a Jabra BT3030. Pairing worked. I got a voice recording I made to play on my new Lenovo laptop using bluetooth -accidentally! I have not yet managed to hear music on the watch from the bt buds.

Non-bt buds came with the watch phone and work fine. But you have to plug them into the usb port which is awkward and risky if you are moving -that's why buying a bt headset is recommended.

Unfortunately, the built in FM radio requires the buds to be plugged in to the usb port to work, since it uses them as an antenna. Upshot: you probably won't use the FM radio much when on the move.

I found the sound recorder recording level very faint. I thought at first that sound playback was faint in general, but later I listened to Economist news stories and sound level was fine. The speaker of the watch is loud enough that you could call without using headphones of any sort in a pinch -you could hear the caller and the caller could hear you.

Text messages have a cute graphic when they arrive and a distinctive sound, as do phone calls.

The manual is written in that sometimes delightful fake English that is always awkward and often unclear.

The screen size is so small that reading ebooks seems an unlikely pastime, though an ebook reader is part of the software.

All in all, if you mainly want to call and text, this watch could be a blast, especially if you don't mind an occasional puzzle thrown in for free.

Apparently you can get this for less from non-Amazon sources. I think anything under $100 is a decent price.

Although I do not have the cell phone feature working, yet, the watch does all that it promises after you buy the micro SD and the SIM card. Takes video, records sound, takes pictures, tells time. The screens are user friendly and make sense once you get the hang of it. The watch includes a stylus right in the wristband. The watch was set to English, instead of Chinese, which was helpful. The greatest negative was the lack of tech support. I learned by typing MQ998 on You tube.

item was received within timeframe; however , it doesn't charge neither of the batteries work in the watch. So I'm not sure if the thing even works. Seller said they were going to send new batteries but I have never received them as of yet. Im over this thing I just want to send it all back and get my money refunded. Do you fear that your alarm clock will not work if the power goes off sometimes at night? This Dream Machine has a battery back up so you never have to worry about the alarm not going off at the right time. Well you may have to replace the battery at some point but otherwise it seems very reliable. The instructions for setting up this clock radio are simple and easy to understand. There are two alarms and of course a nice snooze button. I feel it is nicer to wake up with the radio playing than a buzzer but this alarm clock has that option too. The speaker is not very high quality so don't expect stereo sound. For the price I feel that I got lots of good features. I'm happy with my purchase.

Great design and beautiful fit and finish. High marks for the sound quality, consistent with other Tivoli radios I own. The biggest short coming is the clock radio aspect, which was my primary reason for purchasing the Model 10. Terrible screen and a bad interface. The screen and functions look and perform like something Sony developed twenty-five years ago. The interface is equally cumbersome with way too much work required to just set an alarm. A remote control for a clock radio? Really? I incorrectly assumed that the control disc on the top of the radio would have more functions and act similar to the iPod wheel. I really should have done more research on the Model 10 instead of relying solely on my prior very positive experience with Tivoli radios.
