I have been using this unit for a couple of days and it has pretty much lived up to my expectations. I originally bought this TV because most of the under cabinet TVs I saw only had 7-9 inch screens and this unit was the only one with a 12 inch screen. The screen is measured diagonally and has a widescreen aspect ratio so it seemed a tad smaller when I first took it out of the box, but its still much larger than the 7-9 inch tvs I compared it to. That being said, I think the optimum viewing distance for a screen this size would be 6-8 feet. You can either hook it up to the coax output of your satellite/cable box, or to regular over the air antenna (not included). A big plus is the inclusion of a built in ASTC HDTV Tuner. I used a regular set of rabbit ears and was able to get 30 plus digital channels from my location. I can't find any specs on the exact resolution of the screen, but it look great watching HDTV. I haven't really tried the DVD or radio functions, cause this was mainly purchased as a TV, but its nice to have those options available to me. I took off one star because of the lack of inputs/ouputs. The audio/video input on the TV is limited to a coax connection. It also has a composite video ouput, but strangely lacks an audio output so you are limited to using the built-in speakers. Not a really a big deal since the built-in speakers are fine and seemed to have good volume.

It was a little frustrating to mount under my kitchen cabinet. It comes with a sheet of paper which is supposed to be used as a mounting template so you can drill holes in your shelf. Make sure to tape the sheet completely flat to the cabinet and drill exactly in the center of the markings on the template or your holes will be slightly off. I made these mistakes and now my unit is only being held up by 3 screws (instead of 4) because the 4 hole was slightly off.

All I can say is that my wife has always told me I buy too much electronic junks. Not this time, well at first she frowned when I bought it home but not anymore after I installed it. Installation is easy, make sure you line up the provided paper template with your unit to see what side is up & forward before you drill. please tape the paper template to your kitchen cabinet before you drill because it will move you don't take my advice. Make sure you get a decent HDTV antena (don't go cheap on this item) so that you can get good HD channels from the air free of charge. Enjoy! oh, adjust the setting if the picture is too bright.

I purchased a Audiovox 12" Kitchen LCD TV / DVD Combo 8 months ago. My T.V. has been wonderful until 2 nights ago. The DVD/Radio/TV indicators are all on and the panel is not working. When I have the unit plugged in...it automatically starts up and one can not turn it off without unplugging. It is frozen.

I have read the manual, I have e-mailed Audiovox support line with no response, I have called their customer service and the recording states they are closed. The recording said they were open until 7 p.m. on Monday but when I called at 5:45 p.m. it said otherwise. I was extremely happy but am becoming extremely unhappy when resolution seems so difficult. Maybe a simple fix but I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT!

This TV has worked flawlessly, and though the Digital Switchover. My wife uses this unit in our office daily and it has provided years of excellent entertainment and service.

The user interface is troublesome, but the main operations are obvious. Older eyes will struggle to find the right buttons for anything other than selecting channel, volume or on and off.
