Dissappointed that I can rate only 3 stars and they are for the look of the unit and thats it,I paid for 2 day shipping,product arrived but upon opening the box it became clear very quickly that this item was USED,the wiring harness was not sealed in a manufacturer plastic bag,the black connector block,(male part)was missing from the box,probably from a failed attempt to install with a Metra type kit so as not to cut into the factory loom,the protective screen cover was missing from the face plate and the plastic battery isolater(the piece you have to pull out of the remote control when you first buy the item) was missing and the 2 screws that hold the cd deck in place while shipped one was loose and the other completley out,the plastic bag that holds the screws,metal plate and stereo removal pins had been cut open...................while I could install with no problem note this..... IF YOU CUT INTO THE WIRING HARNESS OF THE RADIO,IE,CUT THE BLACK FEMALE CONNECTOR BECAUSE THE MALE PIECE WITH THE BARED WIRES ON THAT YOU SOLDER,YOU INVALIDATE THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY AND AMAZON RETURN POLICY,hence you would own something that probaly doesnt work,so be VERY careful anytime you purchase something,pay CLOSE attention and do a check list of all you should have DO NOT INSTALL IF INCOMPLETE.Now I REALLY like Pyle products and this IS the first time I have had issue with a product of theirs,I have one unit that has lived in 3 vehicles and is STILL going strong,so dont let this review decide whether you buy or not,just pay very close attention to what you receive,also notable,I dont blame Amazon or the vendor,just the person who sent it back to be someone elses problem.I DO expect the vendor or Amazon to correct the problem and remove it from circulation and if they offer it forsale again note that it is a used/refurbished item so the buyer is aware.Thanks for reading and have posted this so buyers can be aware of what to check,even though I am sure some would be VERY tempted to try and install their new toy...............send it back and get a NEW one,afterall,its what you paid for.

Amazon did return my shipping charges and guarenteed I would not be charged for the return shipping and a nice apology for the problems I had so they DO take customer care seriously,that is to be commended.

I had bought this back in 2011 and driving around on bumpy roads and elevated inclines have not harmed the playability of the CD/DVD player.

The interface is easy to work with and the instruction manual was easy to follow. There was the whole point of getting the bypass for the back up camera, which I did not have, that could be found with a little investigation through the inner-nets. But the picture is not bad at all, and more importantly the compatibility with all type of devices makes it that much better. The only con is the darn remote not being picked up on the IR receiver. 5 out of 5

I knew nothing about PYLE products and I am glad I bought this stereo for my car. Since my SONY stereo got stolen, I didn't really feel like spending much on a new stereo. I have had if for 2 weeks now and so far so good. I do not miss at all my Sony stereo. The sound and image quality are great, I just hope this stereo will last as long as I expect it to. Quality and price are great!
