As an ipod dock/clock this is a great product. It looks nice on my bedside table and produces decent sound. The lamp feature, however, is pretty worthless. Even on the brightest setting, it barely illuminates anything. You definitely can't use it to read or do anything other than see things in a one foot radius.

Good quality sound, easy to use

Lamp is very cool, but not really practical to use as reading light in bed.
